మన ప్రాచీన గ్రంథాలైన వేదాలు, పురాణాలు ‘దేవీ శక్తి’కి అత్యున్నత స్థానం ఇచ్చాయి. బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణు, మహేశ్వరులకంటే కూడా ఆమెను పరమశక్తిగా భావించారు. కానీ మన పూర్వీకులు, ఋషులు ఎందుకు స్త్రీ శక్తిని అంత గొప్పగా భావించారు? ఈ ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానం లోతైన ఆధ్యాత్మిక సత్యంలో దాగి ఉంది.

సృష్టికి మూలం దేవీ శక్తి. సాధారణంగా చెప్పాలంటే, దేవీ శక్తి అంటే స్త్రీ శక్తి. ఈ సమస్త జగత్తు స్త్రీ తత్త్వం ద్వారా సృష్టించబడిందని ప్రాచీన విశ్వాసం. ఒక రోజు స్త్రీ తన సృష్టి శక్తిని నిలిపివేస్తే, ఆ రోజే జీవన చక్రం కూడా ఆగిపోతుంది. జీవం, జననం, పోషణ - ఇవన్నీ కూడా స్ర్తీ శక్త తత్వం యొక్క విస్తరణే.

ప్రకృతిలో ప్రతి రూపంలో స్త్రీ తత్త్వం కనిపిస్తుంది. మన ఉనికికి అవసరమైన ప్రతి అంశాన్ని ‘స్త్రీ’గా పూజించారు. భూమి మనకు ఆధారం - ఆమెను భూమాతగా పిలుస్తాం. నదులు జీవాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తాయి - వాటిని గంగమ్మ, గోదావరి తల్లిగా ఆరాధిస్తాం. అగ్ని శక్తిని ఇస్తుంది - అది కూడా దేవీ స్వరూపమే. ప్రకృతి మొత్తం జీవాన్ని కాపాడే తల్లి. ఈ నాలుగు మూల తత్త్వాలలోనే సృష్టి ఆరంభం, అంతం దాగి ఉంది.

చరిత్ర కూడా ఒక గొప్ప సాక్షి. ఒక యుగం ఎలా ముగుస్తుందో, ఎలా మార్పు చెందుతుందో స్త్రీ గౌరవం మీద ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. రామాయణంలో సీతాదేవి అవమానం, మహాభారతంలో ద్రౌపది అపమానం - ఇవి యుగ పరిణామానికి కారణమైన ఘట్టాలు. అంటే, స్త్రీ శక్తిని గౌరవించడం లేదా అవమానించడం సమాజ భవిష్యత్తును నిర్ణయిస్తుంది.

మన ఋషులు, దేవతలు కూడా ఈ సత్యాన్ని తెలుసుకున్నారు. మన శరీరం స్త్రీ (తల్లి) ద్వారా జన్మిస్తుంది, చివరికి భూమాతలో కలిసిపోతుంది. అందుకే “స్త్రీ తల్లే, స్త్రీ భూమే” అని చెప్పారు. స్త్రీ కేవలం ఒక శరీరం కాదు; ఈ విశ్వాన్ని నడిపించే నిరంతర శక్తి.

ఈ రోజుల్లో స్త్రీని తక్కువగా చూడటం, ఆమెను అవమానించడం - ఇది కేవలం సామాజిక తప్పు మాత్రమే కాదు, ఆధ్యాత్మిక సత్యాన్ని మర్చిపోయిన సంకేతం. స్త్రీ శక్తిని గౌరవించడం అంటే ప్రకృతిని, జీవాన్ని, ధర్మాన్ని గౌరవించడం.

In our ancient scriptures - the Vedas and the Puranas - Devi Shakti is given the highest place, even above the Tridevas (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh). This is not merely symbolic reverence, but a deep spiritual recognition. Our sages and ancestors understood a profound truth: the feminine principle is the very foundation of creation and existence.

At its core, Goddess Power represents the power of creation itself. In simple terms, it is the power of the feminine. According to ancient belief, the entire universe originates from this feminine energy. The day this creative force ceases to give birth, that very day the cycle of life would come to a halt. Life, growth, and continuity all emerge from this sacred source.

The feminine principle is not limited to human form—it is reflected in every aspect of nature. Everything essential for our existence has been revered as a manifestation of the divine feminine. The Earth, which sustains us, is worshipped as Mother Earth. Rivers, which nourish life, are seen as divine mothers. Fire, the source of energy, is also a form of Shakti. Nature itself is the great protector and nurturer. Within these fundamental elements lies both the beginning and the end of creation.

History stands as a powerful witness to the importance of honoring feminine energy. The fate of entire ages has often been shaped by how women were treated. In the Ramayana, the suffering and abduction of Sita led to a great war. In the Mahabharata, the humiliation of Draupadi became a turning point for a massive transformation. These events remind us that respect or disrespect toward women influences the destiny of societies.

Even the gods and ancient sages acknowledged this eternal truth. Human life begins in a woman - the mother - and ultimately returns to the Earth, also regarded as the universal mother. This is why it is said: “Woman is the mother, woman is the Earth.” She is not merely a physical being, but a manifestation of the divine force that sustains and moves the universe.

Remember this profound spiritual truth. To honor women is to honor life itself, to honor nature, and to uphold dharma.

భగవంతునిపై అపారమైన విశ్వాసం మనిషికి ఉన్నా, కాలగమనంలో మాయ యొక్క ప్రభావం ఆ విశ్వాసాన్ని కొంతమేర కదిలించగలదు. మహాభారతం లో కూడా, ధర్మరాజు మరియు అర్జునుడు వంటి శ్రీకృష్ణుని పరమభక్తులు, ఆయన ఉపదేశాలను ఆచరించడంలో కొన్ని సందర్భాల్లో సంకోచం చూపించారు. అప్పుడు భీష్ముడు మరియు ద్రౌపది వంటి మహనీయుల ద్వారా వారికి తమ కర్తవ్యాన్ని గుర్తు చేయబడింది.

ఇదే సత్యం రామాయణం లో కూడా ప్రతిఫలిస్తుంది. శ్రీరాముడు స్వయంగా పరమధర్మస్వరూపుడు అయినప్పటికీ, ఆయన శివుడు పై అత్యంత భక్తిని ప్రదర్శించాడు. రామేశ్వరం వద్ద శివలింగాన్ని ప్రతిష్ఠించి, లంక యుద్ధానికి ముందు శివుని ఆరాధించాడు. అలాగే సీతా దేవి కూడా శివపార్వతులను ప్రార్థిస్తూ తన మనస్సును స్థిరపరచుకుంది. ఇది ఒక గొప్ప తత్త్వాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది — దైవం ఒకటే, రూపాలు మాత్రమే భిన్నం. ఒక దైవాన్ని ఆరాధించే వాడు, మరొక దైవాన్ని గౌరవించకూడదనే భావన భక్తి కాదు.

ఈ ఉదాహరణలు మనకు ఒక గొప్ప సత్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తాయి — విశ్వాసం కలిగి ఉండటం మాత్రమే కాదు, దానిని నిలబెట్టుకోవడం మరింత ముఖ్యము. ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ భగవంతుని ఆజ్ఞలకు విరుద్ధంగా ప్రవర్తించకూడదు. ఒకరు ఎంత పూజలు చేసినా, ఎంత లోతుగా ధ్యానం చేసినా, దైవ ఆజ్ఞలను అతిక్రమిస్తే ఆ భక్తి పద్ధతులు ఫలించవు.

దైవానికి స్వార్థపూరిత లక్ష్యం ఉండదు. కానీ మనుషులు తమ స్వల్ప స్వార్థాల కారణంగా దైవ మార్గాన్ని వదిలిపెడతారు. ఈ చిన్న తప్పులు కాలక్రమంలో పెద్ద పరిణామాలకు దారితీస్తాయి. అందుకే భక్తి అంటే కేవలం ఆచారాలు కాదు — అది ఆచరణలో కనిపించాలి.

ఆకాశంలో మేఘాలు గాలిచే కలిసినా, చెదరిపోయినా, అది సహజ ప్రక్రియ. అలాగే కాలగమనం మన జీవితంలో సుఖం, దుఃఖం, కలయిక, వియోగం తీసుకువస్తుంది. కాలమే భగవంతుని స్వరూపం. కాబట్టి కాలాన్ని గౌరవించి, వృథా చేయకుండా సార్థకంగా వినియోగించాలి.

A person may have deep faith in God, yet over time, the influence of Maya can weaken it. Even in the Mahabharata, great devotees of Krishna such as Yudhishthira and Arjuna showed hesitation in following His guidance, and were reminded of their duty through Bhishma and Draupadi.

The same truth is reflected in the Ramayana. Rama, though an incarnation of the Supreme Himself, displayed profound devotion to Shiva. At Rameswaram, He consecrated a Shiva Lingam and worshipped Shiva before proceeding to Lanka. Likewise, Sita also prayed to Shiva and Parvati, reflecting deep reverence.

This conveys a powerful spiritual truth — the Divine is one, though worshipped in many forms. True devotion does not create division between deities; it recognizes unity in all manifestations of the Supreme.

Faith, therefore, is not merely belief—it is alignment with the Divine will. No matter how intense one’s worship, if one acts against divine principles, such practices lose their value. The Divine has no selfish motive; it is human beings, driven by limited desires, who deviate from the path. Even small deviations can grow into significant consequences over time.

Just as clouds gather or disperse by the wind, time brings union and separation, joy and sorrow. Time itself is a manifestation of the Divine—and it must never be wasted.

నారద మహర్షి భూలోక పర్యటన చేస్తూ, చాలా పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలు సందర్శించి, యమునా తీరంలో సంచరిస్తున్న సమయంలో, కొంచెం దూరంలో ఒక యువతి ఖిన్నురాలై, దు:ఖిస్తూ కూర్చుంది. ఆమె ముందు ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు, చాలా నీరసంతో, అచేతనంగా పడి ఉన్నారు. ఆ యువతి వారికి సేవ చేస్తూ కూర్చొని, మేలుకొలపడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేస్తోంది. ఎవరైనా వచ్చి రక్షిస్తారేమోనని నాలుగు దిక్కులా చూస్తోంది. ఆ యువతి చుట్టూ కొంతమంది స్త్రీలు వింజామరలు వీస్తూ, ఆమెకు సేవ చేస్తున్నారు.

నారద మహర్షి చూసి, కుతూహలంతో, ఆమెను సమీపించి, "దేవీ! నువ్వు ఎవరివి? ఎందుకు దు:ఖిస్తూ ఉన్నావు? ఆ పడిపోయిన ముసలి వాళ్ళు ఎవరు? నీకు చుట్టూ ఉండి నీకు సేవ చేస్తున్న వీళ్ళు ఎవరు? అని అడగ్గానే, ఆ యువతి "మహాత్మా! మీరైనా నా బాధ తొలగించండి. తమరి దర్శనంవల్ల సమస్త పాపములు పటాపంచలై పోయాయి.

మహర్షీ! నా పేరు 'భక్తి'. ఈ ఇరువురు నా కుమారులు. వారి పేర్లు జ్ఞానము, వైరాగ్యము. కలి ప్రభావంతో వీరి అంగాలు శిథిలమయ్యాయి. నా చుట్టూ ఉన్న నన్ను సేవిస్తున్న వారు గంగ, యమున, తపతి, సరస్వతి మున్నగు పవిత్ర నదులే. స్త్రీ రూపంలో నన్ను ఆరాధిస్తున్నారు. సాక్షాత్తు దేవతలచే ఆరాధింపబడుతున్నా కూడా, నాకు సుఖ సంతోషాలు కరువైపోయాయి. నన్ను గౌరవించే వారే కరువై పోయారు.

తపోధనా! కలియుగ ప్రభావం వల్ల పాషాండులు నా అంగములన్నింటినీ భంగపరిచారు. అందువల్ల, నేను, నా కుమారులు తేజో విహీనులమై పోయాం. అచేతనత్త్వంతో అల్లాడుతున్నాము. వీరిద్దరి పరిస్థితి చూస్తే నా మనస్సు వికలమైపోతోంది. దు:ఖంతో విలవిలలాడుతున్నాము." అని చెప్పగానే, నారద మహర్షి, "సాధ్వీ! నా జ్ఞానదృష్టిచే నీ దు:ఖానికి గల కారణం పరిశీలించి చెపుతాను. నీకు మేలు చేకూరుతుంది." అని చెప్పి కొద్ది క్షణాలు ధ్యానంలో ఉండి, ఆమె బాధకు కారణం తెలుసుకొని, "దేవీ ! ఇది కలియుగం. అతి భయంకరమైనది.

సదాచారాలు లోపించాయి. ధర్మం లేదు. ప్రజలు మూఢులై, అజ్ఞానంతో, వంచకులై, దుష్కర్మలు చేస్తూన్నారు. కేవలం ధనార్జన పట్ల మమకారంతో జీవిస్తున్నారు. తమ జీవన విధానానికి ముఖ్యమైన భగవంతుని మర్చిపోతున్నారు. బాలా! నీ దు:ఖం దూరం కాగలదు. శ్రీ కృష్ణ భగవానుడు ఏనాడు ఈ భూలోకాన్ని వదిలి తన పరంథామానికి వెళ్ళాడో, ఆ నాటి నుండే కలి ప్రభావం చూపుతోంది. ఈ కలియుగంలో తపస్సు, యోగము చేత లభించని ఫలం కూడా శ్రీమన్నారాయణ కీర్తనము చేతనే సంపూర్ణంగా లభిస్తుంది.

సత్యయుగము, త్రేతాయుగం, ద్వాపర యుగములలో జ్ఞానము, వైరాగ్యం ముక్తికి సాధనాలై ఉన్నాయి. కానీ కలియుగంలో కేవలం "భక్తి"యే బ్రహ్మ సాయుజ్యము పొందుటకు ఏకైక మార్గం."

సుముఖీ! కలియుగంలో ప్రతీ ఇంటిలో, ప్రతీ వ్యక్తి యొక్క హృదయంలో నిన్ను నేను ప్రతిష్ఠించెదను. ధర్మములన్నటిని త్రోసిరాజని భక్తి దేవికి పట్టం కట్టేటట్లు, మహోత్సవ సంబరాల తీరుగా ప్రచారం చేస్తాను. అలా చేయని పక్షంలో నేను శ్రీ నారాయణ దాసుడును కానేకాదు. కాబట్టి నిన్ను ఆసరా చేసుకుని జీవించడం ఆవశక్యమై ఉంటుంది.

భగవన్నామస్మరణ చేయగానే నీ ద్వారానే ప్రజలు అదే భక్తులు శ్రీ కృష్ణ పరంథామం చేరుకొంటారు. భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో ఉరకలు వేస్తూ ఆ శ్రీకృష్ణుని తలపోస్తూ ఉంటారు. భగవంతుడు దేనివల్ల వశుడు కాడు. కేవలం ఒక భక్తి అంటే నీ ద్వారానే వశుడు కాగలడు అని ప్రజల్లో భక్తిని కలిగించే మార్గాలు విశదీకరించాడు. అలా నారదుని మాటలు వినేసరికి ఆమెలో చైతన్యం వచ్చింది. కానీ కుమారులైన జ్ఞానము, వైరాగ్యం కదలక ఉంటే, నారదమహర్షి వారి చెవిలో భగవన్నామస్మరణ చేయగానే చైతన్యవంతులయ్యారు. ఇలా కలియుగంలో మనం ఎంతోకొంత భక్తి తత్త్వాన్ని కలిగి ఉన్నామంటే, మహాత్ములే కారణం. భగవన్నామ స్మరణ మాత్రమే ఈ యుగంలో మోక్షసాధనం.

శ్రీరామ నామం ఎంతో మధురం.. అని అంటూ ఉంటారు. కొందరు రామకోటి రాస్తూ శ్రీరాముడి ఆశీస్సులు పొందుతారు. శ్రీరామ అంటే కేవలం విష్ణు మాత్రమే కాదని సకల దేవతలు ఈ నామంలో ఉన్నాయని ఇప్పటికే చాలామంది ఆధ్యాత్మిక వాదులు పేర్కొన్నారు.

అయితే కొన్ని గ్రంథాలు, పురాణాల ప్రకారం ఈ నామములో ఆరుగురు దేవతలు కొలువై ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రతిరోజు శ్రీరామ నామ జపం చేయడం వల్ల ఆరుగురు దేవతలను పూజించినట్లు అవుతుందని అంటున్నారు. అంతేకాకుండా సమస్యలు, బాధలు ఉన్నప్పుడు శ్రీరామ నామం జపం చేయడం వల్ల అవి తొలగిపోతాయని కూడా చెబుతున్నారు. అసలు శ్రీరామ నామం లో ఉన్న ఆరుగురు దేవతలు ఎవరు? వారి పేర్లు ఏంటి?

శ్రీరామ అనగానే మనకు విష్ణువు అవతారమైన రాముడు గురించి మాత్రమే చర్చించుకుంటాం. కానీ శ్రీరామ అనే పదాన్ని మాత్రం ఆలయాలకు వెళ్లినప్పుడు పలుకుతూ ఉంటాం. అయితే శ్రీరామ అనే పేరును పలకడం రాముడిని గుర్తు చేసుకోవడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా ఆరుగురు దేవతలను స్మరించడం అని అంటున్నారు.

శ్రీరామ లో.. మొదటి శ్రీ అంటే లక్ష్మి తత్వం. శ్రీరామ నామంలో మొదటి అక్షరం సంపద, శాంతి, శ్రేయస్సు ప్రసాదించే లక్ష్మీదేవత ఉన్నట్లు చెబుతారు.

శ్రీరామ లో.. ర అంటే రుద్రశక్తి. శివుడి తత్వాన్ని ఈ అక్షరం సూచిస్తుంది. రామ నామంలో కూడా శివుడు కొలువై ఉన్నాడని ఈ పదం తెలుపుతుంది.

శ్రీరామ లో.. ర+అ=రా.. అంటే ఇందులో ఆ అక్షరం అగ్ని దేవుడిని సూచిస్తుంది. ప్రతి కార్యక్రమంలో అగ్ని దేవుడిని కొలుస్తుంటాం. శుద్ధి శక్తికి ప్రత్యేకగా అగ్నిదేవుడని కొలుస్తూ ఉంటాం. శ్రీరామ నామం జపించినప్పుడు అగ్నిదేవుడు కూడా ఉంటాడు.

శ్రీరామ లో.. చివరి అక్షరం మ లో ముగ్గురు దేవతలు కొలువై ఉన్నట్లు తెలుపుతున్నారు. అంటే బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణు తో పాటు ఆదిశక్తి స్వరూపిణి కూడా ఈ అక్షరం లో ఉన్నట్లు చెబుతారు.

ఇలా శ్రీరామలో ఆరుగురు దేవతలు ఉండడంవల్ల ప్రతిసారి శ్రీరామ అనే నామం జపించడం వల్ల వీరు సంతోషిస్తారని అంటున్నారు. వీరితోపాటు శ్రీరామ అని పేరు చెప్పగానే ముందుగా స్పందించేది హనుమంతుడు. విష్ణు సేవ కోసం శివుడే హనుమంతుడి రూపం లో వచ్చాడని కొన్ని పురాణాల్లో ద్వారా తెలుస్తుంది. అయితే శివుడితోపాటు పార్వతీ కూడా వస్తానని అంటుంది. కానీ హనుమంతుడు బ్రహ్మచర్య రూపం వల్ల పార్వతికి అడ్డు చెబుతాడు. అయినా కూడా శ్రీరామ అనే పదంలో ఆదిశక్తి స్వరూపిణి కొలువై ఉంటుందని శ్రీరామ నామం అనే పదం ద్వారా తెలుస్తుంది. ప్రతిరోజు మంచి మనసుతో కొన్నిసార్లు శ్రీరామ నామం జపించడం వల్ల ఈ దేవతల ఆశీస్సులు ఉంటాయని ఆధ్యాత్మిక పండితులు తెలుపుతున్నారు. అంతేకాకుండా శ్రీరామ నామం జపించడం వల్ల మనసు ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండి అనుకున్న పనులు కూడా పూర్తవుతాయని చెబుతున్నారు.

"God is beyond all experience. You cannot experience God because he is not separate from you. You can live God, you can be God, but you cannot experience him. We can experience things only when they are separate from us. You cannot see yourself, and God is your innermost core — you cannot see God either. So people who search for God as if God is an object are on a wrong journey from the very beginning. They will be frustrated, and out of frustration they can start creating hallucinations too. Because of the frustration the mind starts giving consolation prizes: the mind gives you hallucinatory experiences.

If you are a Hindu you see Krishna standing before you, and that is just an hallucination. If you are a Christian you see Christ. The Christian never sees Krishna, the Hindu never sees Christ; the Mohammedan is blissfully unaware of both. You see only that which you are projecting. Because down the ages God has been thought of as a person, hallucinations become possible. Because he was thought of as something that can be experienced, people went on wrong journeys and wasted their lives.

God cannot be experienced, cannot be searched for, cannot be seen, because you are it. You are already it, so what is needed is not to search; all that is needed is to start celebrating. You are God! There is no need to postpone your celebration even for a single moment, because in the next moment also you will be God, as much as you are right now. Yesterday also you were as much a God as you are right now or will ever be. You are the same God always. Just a little daring is needed to celebrate it, a little daring to accept this tremendous truth of “I am God!”

It is very difficult because the so-called saints have been teaching you that you are a sinner, that you are unworthy, that you will be thrown into hellfire — that’s where you belong. How can you suddenly believe that you are a God? It seems outrageous but it is the truth.

To recognize yourself as God does not mean that you are God and others are not God. To recognize yourself as God means that everything is divine, even your enemy. Not only is Jesus God but Judas too! That is very shattering… that is very difficult. Not only is the beautiful person God, but the ugliest, he too is God because nothing else exists. God is synonymous with existence.

My approach is that we are not searching for experiences here. We are trying to know the one who experiences all experiences. Our search is for the witness. Who is this observer? Who is this consciousness? Sometimes it feels sad, sometimes it feels happy; sometimes it is so high, flying in the sky, and sometimes so down. Who is this watcher of all these games? — high and low, happy, unhappy, in heaven and hell. Who is this watcher?

To know this watcher is to know God. And you are already it — just a little awakening is needed… no search but only awakening".
