*🌟. వైశాఖ శుధ్ద తదియ నే అక్షయ తృతీయగా జరుపుకుంటారు. 3 మే 2022 అక్షయ తృతీయ. ఈ రోజునే సింహాచల వరాహ నరసింహ స్వామి వారి చందనోత్సవం కూడా జరుగుతుంది. స్వామి వారు భక్తులకు నిజరూప దర్శనం ఇస్తారు. అక్షయ తృతీయ ప్రాముఖ్యతలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి. అందులో కొన్ని చూద్దాం.*
1. పరశురాముని జన్మదినం.
2. పవిత్ర గంగా నది భూమిని తాకిన పర్వదినం.
3. త్రేతాయుగం మొదలైన దినం.
4. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు తన బాల్యమిత్రుడైన కుచేలుని కలుసుకొన్న దినం.
5. వ్యాస మహర్షి “మహా భారతము”ను, వినాయకుని సహాయముతో, వ్రాయడం మొదలుపెట్టిన దినం.

🌟. అక్షయ తృతీయ నాడు, మనం చేపట్టిన ఏ కార్య ఫలమైనా, (అది పుణ్యం కావచ్చు, లేదా పాపం కావచ్చు) అక్షయంగా, నిరంతరం, జన్మలతో సంబంధం లేకుండా, మన వెంట వస్తూనే ఉంటుంది.
🌟. పుణ్య కర్మలన్నీ విహితమైనవే. అందునా, ఆ రోజు ఓ కొత్త కుండలో గానీ, కూజాలో గానీ, మంచి నీరు పోసి, దాహార్తులకు శ్రధ్ధతో సమర్పిస్తే, ఎన్ని జన్మలలోనూ, మన జీవుడికి దాహంతో గొంతు ఎండి పోయే పరిస్థితి రాదు.
🌟. అతిధులకు, అభ్యాగతులకు, పెరుగన్నంతో కూడిన భోజనం సమర్పిస్తే, ఏ రోజూ ఆకలితో మనం అలమటించవలసిన రోజు రాదు. వస్త్రదానం వల్ల తదనుగుణ ఫలితం లభిస్తుంది.
🌟. అర్హులకు స్వయంపాకం, దక్షిణ, తాంబూలాదులు సమర్పించుకుంటే, మన ఉత్తర జన్మలలో, వాటికి లోటు రాదు. గొడుగులు, చెప్పులు, విసన కర్రల లాటివి దానం చేసుకోవచ్చు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆ రోజు నిషిధ్ధ కర్మల జోలికి వెళ్ళక పోవడం ఎంతో శ్రేయస్కరం.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-
ధర్ముని ఈ మాటలను విని మహేశ్వరుడు నవ్వి, దయా దృష్టితో చూచి శయ్యను వీడెను (33). 'ఓ ధర్మా! నీవు ముందు అచటకు వెళ్లుము. నేను కూడా శీఘ్రమే రాగలను. సందేహము వలదు' అని ఆయన నవ్వి పలికెను (34). శంకరుడిట్లు పలుకగా ఆతడు జనుల నివాసమునకు వెళ్లెను. శంభు ప్రభుడు కూడా అచటకు స్వయముగా వెళ్లవలెనని తలంచెను (35).
ఆ విషయము తెలిసి స్త్రీలందరు అచటకు గొప్ప ఉత్సాహముతో వచ్చిరి. వారు శంభుని పాద ద్వయమును చూచుచూ మంగళ గానములను పాడిరి (36). అపుడు శంభుడు లోకాచారమునను సరించి ప్రాతః కృత్యములను పూర్తి చేసుకొని మేనా హిమవంతుల అనుమతిని తీసుకొని జనావాసమునకు వెళ్లెను (37). ఓ మునీ! అపుడు మహోత్సవమారంభమాయెను. వేదధ్వని మొదలాయెను. జనులు నాల్గు విధముల వాద్యములను మ్రోగించిరి (38).
శంభుడు అపుడు తన స్థానమునకు వచ్చి లోకాచారముననుసరించి మునులను, విష్ణువును, నన్ను నమస్కరించెను. దేవతలు మొదలగు వారు ఆయనకు నమస్కరించిరి (39). తరువాత జయధ్వానములు, సమశ్శబ్దములు, శుభకరమగు వేదధ్వని కలిసి పెద్ద కోలాహలము ప్రవర్తిల్లెను (40).
శ్రీ శివ మహాపురాణములోని రుద్రసంహితయందు పార్వతీఖండలో పెళ్లివారి భోజనమును వర్ణించే ఏబది రెండవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (52).

33. On hearing these words of Dharma lord Śiva laughed. He surveyed him with sympathetic looks and got up from the bed.
34. He laughingly said to Dharma—“You go ahead. I shall come there presently. There is no doubt in this matter.
35. Thus addressed by Śiva, he returned to the audience hall. The lord Śiva too wanted to go.
36. On coming to know of it the ladies came enthusiastically. With their eyes fixed on the feet of Śiva, they sang auspicious songs.
37. Śiva then, in accordance with the worldly customs, went through his morning routine. He took leave of Menā and the mountain and went to the audience hall.
38. There was great jubilation there, O sage. Vedic mantras were recited loudly. The people played on the four kinds of musical instruments.
39. Śiva came to His apartment and bowed to the sages, Viṣṇu and me in accordance with the worldly conventions and was saluted by the gods and others.
40. Shouts of Victory and Obeisance rose up along with the auspicious sound of Vedic chants. There was great tumult.

కృష్ణుడు ఈ లోకమును విడచి వెళ్ళిపోయిన తోడనే అర్జునుని అదే ధనస్సు, అవే అస్త్రములు, అదే రథము, అవే గుఱ్ఱములు, అవన్నియు శ్రోత్రియుడు కాని వానికి ఇచ్చిన దానము వలె నష్టమైపోయెను.
ధర్మరాజు ఆ వార్త విని, పరీక్షిత్తును రాజ్యపాలనకై నియోగించి, ఈ సంసార మనిత్య మను విషయము గ్రహించినవాడై, ద్రౌపదియు, సోదరులును వెంట రాగా, మహావిష్ణుని అష్టోత్తరశతనాముములు జపించుచు మహా ప్రస్థానమున బయలుదేరెను.
ఆ మహాప్రస్థానము నందు ద్రౌపది, సహదేవుడు, నకులుడు, అర్జునుడు, భీముడును పడిపోయిరి. రాజు శోకాతురుడయ్యెను. ఆతడు ఇంద్రుడు తీసికొని వచ్చిన రథము నధిరోహించి, సోదరనహితుడై స్వర్గము చేరెను. ఆచట దుర్యోధనాదులను, వాసుదేవుని చూచి సంతసించెను. నీ కీ భారతకథను చెప్పితిని. దీనిని పఠించినవారు స్వర్గమునకు వెళ్లెదరు.

Being consoled by Vyāsa, he thought, “My strength remains only in the presence of Kṛṣṇa.” Having come to Hastināpura, Pārtha then informed Yudhiṣṭhira, his brothers and the guards of the people. That bow, those weapons and the chariot and those horses were lost in the absence of Kṛṣṇa, just as a charity made to a person not well learned (would be lost). Having heard that (news), the intelligent Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira), having established Parīkṣīt in the kingdom, set out on his final journey to relinquish this world along with Draupadī and his brothers, after having realized the transitory nature of the mundane existence and repeating 108 (names) of Hari.
13. Draupadī, Sahadeva, Nakula, Phālguna[2] (Arjuna), Bhīma had fallen on the way (of their march). The king was grief-stricken.
14. Mounting the chariot brought by Indra he reached heavens along with his brothers, having seen Duryodhana and others and Vāsudeva and becoming happy. This is (the story of) Bhārata told to you. Whoever reads this, goes to heaven.

*It is said about Gibbon that when he finished his history of the world,he wept. It had been thirty years' work; day and night, year in, year out, he worked and worked. He had only four hours of sleep and twenty hours of work each day. When it was finished, he wept. His wife could not believe it, his disciples could not believe it. They said, "Why are you weeping?" Everybody was happy that the work was complete, when the greatest record of history wascomplete. But he was crying, "Now what will I do? I am f inished!" And he died within three years; there was nothing else for him to do.*
*He had always been a young man; the day his work was finished he became old. It happens to every creator: A painter is so passionately in the painting that when it is finished, the feeling arises, "Now what? Why did I do it?" Great awareness is needed to see that the joy of painting is in painting itself. There is no result-the end and the means are not separate. If you are enjoying something, that is the point of it; don't ask for anything else. What more do you need? The attainment is in the very process. You have grown through it; that is the attainment. *ఈ ప్రత్యక్చితి ఆధారముగనే త్రిగుణాత్మకమగు తత్త్వమున కాధారమైన అవ్యక్తము పుట్టుచున్నది. ఈ బిందువు నుండియే కార్యము, కారణము, నాదము పుట్టుచున్నవి. మరల సృష్టి ప్రళయములోనికి పోవునపుడు కూడ చిట్టచివరగ నుండునది ప్రతీచియే లేక ప్రత్యక్సితియే. అవ్యక్తమైన బ్రహ్మరూపము కలిగి అంతర్గతమైన జ్ఞాన స్వరూపమై నిలచునది ప్రతీచియే. మనము నిద్రనుండి మెలకువ గాంచు స్థితి ఇది. నిద్ర యందు వున్నామని కూడ తెలియదు.*
*నిద్ర నుండి మెలకువ కలుగుచున్నప్పుడు వున్నామని మెర మెర మాత్ర ముండును. నిద్ర కూడ యుండును. ఇతర భావము లేవియూ వుండవు. తన అస్తిత్వము తన కేర్పడుచుండును. ఇతరము లేవియూ లేవు గనుక అవ్యక్తము. అటుపైన ఏర్పడునవి కారణ, కార్యములు. దానికి మూలము ఇచ్ఛ. ఈ ప్రాగ్ అవస్థను (నిద్ర నుండి మేల్కొనుట) గూర్చి శ్రద్ధతో తదేక దీక్షతో పరిశీలించుట, ధ్యానించుట యోగుల లక్ష్యము. ప్రత్యక్చితి పరమ పదమున నిలిచి యున్న స్థితిగా భావించవచ్చును. అటుపైన వున్నది 'పరా'. ఏమీ లేనట్లుండును.*
