*ఓ భరతవంశ శ్రేష్టుడా! ఆర్తుడు, అర్థార్థి, జిజ్ఞాసువు, పరతత్త్వజ్ఞానము నన్వేషించువాడు అనెడి నాలుగురకముల పుణ్యాత్ములు నాకు భక్తియుక్తసేవ నొనరింతురు.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
దుష్కృతులకు భిన్నముగా శాస్త్రములందు తెలుపబడిన నియమములకు కట్టుబడి వర్తించు ఇట్టివారు “సుకృతిన:” అనబడుదురు. అనగా వారు శాస్త్రములందలి సాంఘిక మరియు నైతికనియమములను పాటించుచు దాదాపు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని యెడ భక్తిని కలిగియుందురు. అటువంటి వారిలో ఆర్తులు, అర్థార్థులు, జిజ్ఞాసువులు, పరతత్త్వజ్ఞానము కొరకై అన్వేషించువారు అనెడి నాలుగుతరగతుల వారు గలరు. ఇట్టివారు వివిధ పరిస్థితులలో భక్తియుక్తసేవ నొనర్చుటకు భగవానుని దరిచేరుదురు. తాము చేయు భక్తికి కొంత ప్రతిఫలమును కోరియుండుటచే వాస్తవమునకు వారు శుద్ధభక్తులు కారు. శుద్ధభక్తి యనునది ఆశలకు మరియు భౌతికలాభాపేక్షకు అతీతమైనట్టిది. అటువంటి శుద్ధభక్తిని భక్తిరసామృతసింధువు (1.1.11) ఈ విధముగా నిర్వచించినది.
అన్యాభిలాషితాశూన్యం జ్ఞానకర్మాద్యనావృతం |
అనుకూల్యేన కృష్ణానుశీలనం భక్తిరుత్తమా
“కామ్యకర్మల ద్వారా గాని, తాత్త్వికకల్పనల ద్వారా గాని భౌతికలాభాపేక్ష లేకుండగ అనుకూల్యముగా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునికి ప్రతియొక్కరు దివ్యమైన ప్రేమయుక్తసేవ నొనరింపవలసియున్నది. అదియే శుద్ధమైన భక్తియుతసేవ యనబడును.”
ఈ నాలుగుతెగల మనుజులు భక్తియోగమును నిర్వహించుటకై శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని దరిచేరినపుడు శుద్ధభక్తుని సాంగత్యములో పరిశుద్ధులై వారును శుద్ధభక్తులు కాగాలరు. కాని దుష్కృతులైన వారి జీవనము స్వార్థపూరితము,క్రమరహితము, ఆధ్యాత్మికగమ్యశూన్యమై యుండుట వలన వారికి భక్తిలో నెలకొనుట అతికష్టము కాగలదు. కాని అదృష్టవశాత్తు ఒకవేళ వారు శుద్ధభక్తుని సాంగత్యమును పొందినచో వారును శుద్ధభక్తులు కాగలరు.

16. catur-vidhā bhajante māṁ janāḥ su-kṛtino ’rjuna
ārto jijñāsur arthārthī jñānī ca bharatarṣabha
🌷 Translation :
O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.
🌹 Purport :
Unlike the miscreants, these are adherents of the regulative principles of the scriptures, and they are called su-kṛtinaḥ, or those who obey the rules and regulations of scriptures, the moral and social laws, and are, more or less, devoted to the Supreme Lord. Out of these there are four classes of men – those who are sometimes distressed, those who are in need of money, those who are sometimes inquisitive, and those who are sometimes searching after knowledge of the Absolute Truth. These persons come to the Supreme Lord for devotional service under different conditions. These are not pure devotees, because they have some aspiration to fulfill in exchange for devotional service. Pure devotional service is without aspiration and without desire for material profit. The Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu (1.1.11) defines pure devotion thus:
anyābhilāṣitā-śūnyaṁ jñāna-karmādy-anāvṛtam
ānukūlyena kṛṣṇānu- śīlanaṁ bhaktir uttamā
“One should render transcendental loving service to the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa favorably and without desire for material profit or gain through fruitive activities or philosophical speculation. That is called pure devotional service.”
When these four kinds of persons come to the Supreme Lord for devotional service and are completely purified by the association of a pure devotee, they also become pure devotees. As far as the miscreants are concerned, for them devotional service is very difficult because their lives are selfish, irregular and without spiritual goals. But even some of them, by chance, when they come in contact with a pure devotee, also become pure devotees.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ మహర్షీ! వినుము. జగదంబ యొక్క చరితమును, తరువాత జరిగిన వృత్తాంతమును నీకు నిశ్చితముగా చెప్పెదను (2). ఆ గణశుడు సంహరింపబడగానే, గణములు మద్దెళ్లను, పటహములను మ్రోగించి గొప్ప ఉత్పవమును చేసిరి (3). శివుడు గణశుని శిరస్సును ఛేదించి దుఃఖమును పొందెను. ఓ మహర్షీ! పార్వతీ దేవి ఆ వార్తను విని మిక్కిలి కోపించెను (4). నేనేమి చేయెదెను? ఎచటకు వెళ్లెదను? అయ్యో! ఆపద వచ్చినది. ఇపుడు నా ఈ మహాదుఃఖము తొలగిపోవు ఉపాయమేది గలదు? (5)
దేవతలు, గణములు అందరు కూడి నా కుమారుని ఈనాడు నాశనము చేసినారు. నేను వారినందరినీ నశింపజేసెదను. లేదా ప్రలయమును కలిగించెను (6). ఇట్లు దుఃఖించినదై సర్వలోకములకు అధీశ్వరియగు ఆమె కోపించి వెనువెంటనే లక్షల సంఖ్యలో శక్తులను నిర్మించెను (7). అట్లు నిర్మించ బడిన ఆ శక్తులు అగ్నిశిఖలవలె మండిపడుతూ జగన్మాత యగు ఆ పార్వతికి నమస్కరించి, 'తల్లీ! ఆదేశించుము' అని పలికెను (8). ఓ మహర్షీ! శంభుని శక్తి, ప్రకృతి, మహామాయ అగు ఆమె ఆ మాటను విని మిక్కిలి కోపించి వారందరితో ఇట్లు బదులిడెను (9).

2. O foremost among sages, listen. I shall mention the story of the mother of the universe in the manner that it happened afterwards.
3. When Gaṇeśa was killed, the Gaṇas were very jubilant. They played on Mṛdaṅgas and Paṭahas.
4. After cutting off the head of Gaṇeśa even as Śiva became sorry, goddess Pārvatī became furious, O great sage.
5. “O what shall I do? Where shall I go? Alas, great misery has befallen me. How can this misery, this great misery be dispelled now?
6. “My son has been killed by all the gods and the Gaṇas. I shall destroy them all or create a deluge.”
7. Lamenting thus, the great goddess of all the worlds angrily created in a moment hundreds and thousands of Śaktis.
8. Śaktis who were thus created, bowed to Pārvatī, the mother of the universe and blazing brilliantly spoke—“O mother, be pleased to command.”
9. O great sage, on hearing that, Pārvatī, the Śakti of Śiva, the Prakṛti, the great Māyā, spoke to them all in great fury.

*🌴. The basis of knowledge from Mother is alphabets.🌴*
*Jñāna means knowledge discussed in sūtrā 2, the limited knowledge, adhiṣṭhānaṁ means resting upon and mātṛkā means the Supreme Mother (Lalithā Sahasranāmam nāmā 577 mātṛka varṇa rūpinī. A brief interpretation of this nāmā: She is in the form of 51 alphabets of Sanskrit called mātṛka. These fifty one alphabets are split into six groups and worshipped in the six chakras from mūlādhārā to ājñā. These alphabets have different colors and is said to be closely related to cosmological studies. A comparative narration is drawn between Shiva and Śaktī and vowels and consonants.*
*Vowels are always active and dynamic in nature and therefore vowels are compared to Śaktī; consonants are compared to Shiva. Without Shiva-Shakthi combine, the universe cannot exist, as they are two different aspects of the Brahman. In the same way, sound cannot exist without vowels-consonants combine. The sound originates from Śabda Brahman, whereas the universe originates from the Brahman. She is the Śabda Brahman.) In view of this interpretation, mātṛkā also means letters.*
