*20. kvacit tattvāvamarśena nivṛttaṁ bhayam ulbaṇam*
*anivṛtta-nimittatvāt punaḥ pratyavatiṣṭhate*
*MEANING : Even if the great fear of bondage is avoided by mental speculation and inquiry into the fundamental principles, it may still appear again, since its cause has not ceased.*
*PURPORT : Material bondage is caused by putting oneself under the control of matter because of the false ego of lording it over material nature. Bhagavad-gītā (BG 7.27) states, icchā-dveṣa-samutthena. Two kinds of propensities arise in the living entity. One propensity is icchā, which means desire to lord it over material nature or to be as great as the Supreme Lord. Everyone desires to be the greatest personality in this material world. Dveṣa means "envy." When one becomes envious of Kṛṣṇa, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one thinks, "Why should Kṛṣṇa be the all and all? I'm as good as Kṛṣṇa." These two items, desire to be the Lord and envy of the Lord, are the beginning cause of material bondage. As long as a philosopher, salvationist or voidist has some desire to be supreme, to be everything, or to deny the existence of God, the cause remains, and there is no question of his liberation.*

వ్యాసుడిట్లు పలికెను -
ఓ బ్రహ్మవేత్తా! నీవు మహాప్రాజ్ఞుడవు, వక్తలలో శ్రేష్ఠుడవు. తరువాత ఏమి ఆయెను? దేవతలు ఎట్లు సుఖమును పొందగల్గిరి? నాకు చెప్పుడు (1).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
గొప్ప ధీశాలియగు వ్యాసుని ఈ మాటను విని సనత్కుమారుడు శివుని పాదపద్మములను స్మరించి ఇట్లు పలికెను (2).
సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
తరువాత వారి తేజస్సు ముందు వెలవెల బోయిన ఇంద్రాది దేవతలు అందరు ఒకరితో నొకరు చర్చించుకొని, దుఃఖముతో బ్రహ్మను శరణు పొందిరి (3). అపుడు ఆ దేవతలందరు దుఃఖమును త్రోసిపుచ్చి పితామహునకు ప్రీతితో ప్రణమిల్లి సరియగు సమయములో ఇట్లు విన్నవించు కొనిరి (4).
దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి -
ఓ బ్రహ్మా! మయుడు తారకుని పుత్రులతో గూడి మూడు పురములకు నాధుడై దేవతలనందరిని నిశ్చయముగా దుఃఖపెట్టు చున్నాడు(5) ఓ బ్రహ్మా! ఈ కారణంగా దుఃఖితులమైన మేము నిన్ను శరణు జొచ్చినాము. వానిని వధించే ఉపాయమును పన్ని మాకు సుఖమును కలిగించుము (6).
సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
దేవతలు ఇట్లు విన్నవించగా, సృష్టికర్తయగు బ్రహ్మ నవ్వి మయుని భయముతో నిండిన మనస్సు గల ఆ దేవతలనందరినీ ఉద్దేశించి ఇట్లు బదులిడెను (7).
బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -
దేవతలారా! ఆ రాక్షసుల గురించి మీరు అధికముగా భయపడకుడు. వారిని వధించి సుఖమును కలిగించే ఉపాయమును చెప్పెదను. ఆ పనిని శివుడు చేయగలడు (8). నాచే వర్థిల్లచేయబడిన రాక్షసుని నేనే చంపుట తగదు. పైగా ఆ మూడు నగరములలో పుణ్యము వర్దిల్లుచున్నది (9). ఓ ఇంద్రాది దేవతలారా! మీరందరు శివుని ప్రార్ధించుడు. సర్వాధ్యక్షుడగు ఆయన ప్రసన్నుడై మీ పనిని చేయగలడు (10).

2. On hearing the words of Vyāsa of immeasurable intellect, Sanatkumāra spoke after remembering the lotus-like feet of Śiva.
Sanatkumāra said:—
3. Indra and other gods scorched by their brilliance and distressed consulted one another and sought refuge in Brahmā.
4. After bowing to and circumambulating Brahmā, they narrated their grievances to him after awaiting the proper opportunity.
The gods said:—
5. O Brahmā, the heaven-dwellers have been subjected to great distress by Maya the virtual ruler of the three cities, accompanied by the sons of Tāraka.
6. Hence, O Brahmā, we are distressed and we seek refuge in you. Please plan out the way of their annihilation whereby we can be happy.
Sanatkumāra said:—
7. Requested thus by the gods, Brahmā, the creator of the worlds laughed and replied to them all who were utterly frightened of Maya.
Brahmā said:—
8. O gods, I tell you, do not be afraid at all of those Asuras. Śiva will hit upon a good way of killing them.
9. The Asuras have flourished due to my favour. They do not deserve destruction at my hands. Their merit is bound to increase in the three cities [1] again.
10. All of you gods including Indra pray to Śiva. If the lord of all is pleased, he will carry out your task.

*🕉. ప్రతి క్షణం ఒక నృత్యం. ఏదైనా క్రమాన్ని కలిగి ఉండటానికి రెండు క్షణాలు అవసరం లేదు. 🕉*
*సంకుచితత్వ మనస్సు నిరంతరం ఏదో ఒక అర్ధాన్ని అడుగుతుంది. అనేక క్షణాల ద్వారా కనబడే అర్థం వుండాలని, ప్రతిదీ ఒక కారణ-ప్రభావ గొలుసుతో అనుసంధానించ బడాలని కోరుకుంటుంది. ప్రతిదీ ఎక్కడికో తరలించ బడాలని, ఎక్కడికో చేరుకోవాలని, ముగించాలని కోరుకుంటుంది. అది తార్కిక మనస్సు, ఏక మితి కలిగిన మనస్సు లక్షణం. కానీ జీవితం బహుమితీయమైనది. దీనికి నిజంగా లక్ష్యం లేదు, విధి లేదు. అన్ని క్షణాలు ఒకదానిని ఒకటి అనుసరిస్తూ, ఎక్కడికో చేరుకుంటున్నాయి అనే దానికి అర్థం లేదు.*
*జీవితం ఎక్కడికీ కదలదు. ఇది కేవలం ఇక్కడి నృత్యం. సరైన పదం నృత్యం, కదలిక కాదు. ప్రతి క్షణం ఒక నృత్యం. ప్రతి క్షణం వచ్చినప్పుడు, అది జరిగినట్లుగానే ఆనందించాలి. అప్పుడు మీ భారం పూర్తిగా తొలగి పోతుంది. స్వేచ్ఛ అంటే అదే- క్షణంలో ఉండటం. ఈ క్షణంలో ఉండటం. గతం గురించి ఎప్పుడూ చింతించకండి. దేన్నయినా కూడా తార్కిక అనుగుణ్యమైన క్రమ సంఘటనలుగా చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తూ ఉండవద్దు. ఇంకా రాని దాని గురించి ఎప్పుడూ చింతించకండి.*
