*తస్యాం తస్యాం స లభతే నిర్వృతిం న విరజ్యతే॥*
*తాత్పర్యము : ఈ లోకమున ఫ్రతి ప్రాణియు ఏయే యోనులలో జన్మించినచో, ఆయా యోనులలోనే సుఖము ఉన్నట్లు తలంచును. కనుక, వాటి యందు విరక్తుడు కాడు.*

*04. jantur vai bhava etasmin yāṁ yāṁ yonim anuvrajet*
*tasyāṁ tasyāṁ sa labhate nirvṛtiṁ na virajyate*
*MEANING : The living entity, in whatever species of life he appears, finds a particular type of satisfaction in that species, and he is never averse to being situated in such a condition.*
*PURPORT : The satisfaction of the living entity in a particular type of body, even if it is most abominable, is called illusion. A man in a higher position may feel dissatisfaction with the standard of life of a lower-grade man, but the lower-grade man is satisfied in that position because of the spell of māyā, the external energy. Māyā has two phases of activities. One is called prakṣepātmikā, and the other is called āvaraṇātmikā. Āvaraṇātmikā means "covering," and prakṣepātmikā means "pulling down." In any condition of life, the materialistic person or animal will be satisfied because his knowledge is covered by the influence of māyā. In the lower grade or lower species of life, the development of consciousness is so poor that one cannot understand whether he is happy or distressed. This is called āvaraṇātmikā. Even a hog, who lives by eating stool, finds himself happy, although a person in a higher mode of life sees that the hog is eating stool. How abominable that life is!.*

*The central aim of the philosophy of Swami Sivananda is the living of the highest life, a life fixed in the knowledge of the principles which are the ultimate regulators of all things. An enlightened life of peace and joy is the goal of his sublime philosophy. And this blessedness can be attained only in the Divine Being. Dharma, the ethical value; artha, the material value; and kama, the vital value, are all based on moksha which is the supreme value of existence. The aim of life is the attainment of moksha.*

*🌴. The ignorance of various tattvas such as kala, etc., which make up the body which are responsible for suffering and bondage and mistaking them as the real self, this is delusion. 🌴*
*The soul now gets ready to finally attain Śiva, when the level of consciousness of the practitioner gradually gets purified in each of the next higher stages. The purity of consciousness begins to happen immediately after crossing kalā tattva and by the time it crosses Śaktī tattva, it stands totally purified. This is the reason for saying that Śaktī alone can lead to Śiva. Śiva is the purest form and Śaktī will never permit any one to go past Her even with an atom of impurity. Further Śaktī also controls all the other tattva-s except Śiva.*
