*తాత్పర్యము : శ్రీహరియొక్క ఊరువులు (తొడలు) అవిసె పూవుల వలె నీలివర్ణ శోభితములై బలిష్ఠములై విలసిల్లుచుండును. అవి గరుత్మంతుని భుజములపై విరాజిల్లుచుండును. ఆ స్వామి నితంబములను ధ్యానింప వలెను. ఆ స్వామియొక్క పట్టు పీతాంబరము మణికట్టు వరకు వ్రేలాడుచు, మొలయందు గల స్వర్ణమయ కటి సూత్రముతో చెలిమి చేయుచు నితంబములను అంటి పెట్టుకొని యుండును. కనుక, భక్తుడు భగవంతుని యొక్క ఆ ఊరుద్వయమును, నితంబములను అనగా తొడలను తన హృదయమునందు ధ్యానించవలెను.*

*MEANING : Next, the yogi should fix his mind in meditation on the Personality of Godhead's thighs, the storehouse of all energy. The Lord's thighs are whitish blue, like the luster of the linseed flower, and appear most graceful when the Lord is carried on the shoulders of Garuḍa. Also the yogī should contemplate His rounded hips, which are encircled by a girdle that rests on the exquisite yellow silk cloth that extends down to His ankles.*
*PURPORT : The Personality of Godhead is the reservoir of all strength, and His strength rests on the thighs of His transcendental body. His whole body is full of opulences: all riches, all strength, all fame, all beauty, all knowledge and all renunciation. The yogī is advised to meditate upon the transcendental form of the Lord, beginning from the soles of the feet and then gradually rising to the knees, to the thighs, and finally arriving at the face. The system of meditating on the Supreme Personality of Godhead begins from His feet.*
*The description of the transcendental form of the Lord is exactly represented in the arcā-vigraha, the statue in the temples. Generally, the lower part of the body of the statue of the Lord is covered with yellow silk. That is the Vaikuṇṭha dress, or the dress the Lord wears in the spiritual sky. This cloth extends down to the Lord's ankles. Thus, since the yogī has so many transcendental objectives on which to meditate, there is no reason for his meditating on something imaginary, as is the practice of the so-called yogīs whose objective is impersonal.*

*లోకాలోకపర్వతము రథమునకు నలుపైలా ఉపసోపానమయెను. మానసాది సరోవరములు దానికి బటక ఉండే సుందరమగు విషమ స్థానము ఆయెను (22) వర్ష పర్వతములన్నియు ఆ రథమునకు నలువైపులా ఉండే త్రాళ్లు అయెననె చెప్పబడెను. పాతాళాది అధోలోకములయందు నివసించు ప్రాణులన్నియు ఆరధములకు ఉపరితములు అయెను (23).*
*బ్రహ్మదేవుడు సారథియై కళ్లెములను పట్టు కొనెను. బ్రహ్మ అధిష్టాన దేవతగా గల ఓంకారము ఆ బ్రహ్మకు చేతి కొరడా ఆయెను (24). ఆకారము పెద్ద గొడుగు ఆయెను. మందర పర్వతము ప్రక్కన ఉండే నిలువు కమ్మీ ఆయెను. హిమవంతుడు శివునకు ధనస్సు కాగా, నాగరాజగు శేషుడు దాని నారిత్రాడు ఆయెను (25). వేదస్వరూపిణి యగు సరస్వతీ దేవి ఆ ధనస్సునకు గంట ఆయెను. మహాతేజశ్శాలి యగు విష్ణువు బాణము కాగా, అగ్ని ఆ బాణము యొక్క వాడి మొన ఆయెనని మహర్షులు చెప్పిరి (26). ఓ మహర్షీ! నాల్గు వేదములు ఆ రథమునకు నాల్గు గుర్రములు ఆయెను. మిగిలియున్న నక్షత్రాది తేజః పిండములు ఆ గుర్రములకు ఆబరణములాయెను (27). విషము నుండి పుట్టిన పదార్థములు సేన కాగా, వాయువులు వాద్యగాళ్లు ఆయెను. వ్యాసాది మహర్షులు ఆ గుర్రములకు సంరక్షకులుగా నుండిరి (28). ఓ మహర్షీ! ఇన్ని మాటలేల? కొద్ది మాటలలో చెప్పెదను. బ్రహ్మాండములో నుండే సర్వవస్తువులు ఆ రథము నందు ఉండెనని చెప్పెదరు (29). ఇట్లు బుద్ధిమంతుడగు ఆ విశ్వకర్మ బ్రహ్మ విష్ణువుల యాజ్ఞచే శుభకరమగు ఆ రథమును చక్కగా నిర్మించెను (30).*

22. The Lokāloka mountain[3] formed its side steps. The lake mānasa etc. constituted its brilliant outer and oblique steps.
23. The Varṣa mountains constituted the cords and chains all round the chariot. All the residents of the region Tala constituted the bottem surface of the chariot.
24. Lord Brahmā was the charioteer, the gods were holders of the bridle. Praṇava the Vedic divinity constituted the long whip of Brahma.
25. The syllable A constituted the great umbrella, Mandara the side staff. The lord of mountains became his bow and the lord of serpents the bowstring.
26. Goddess Sarasvatī in the form of the Vedas constituted the bells of the bow. The brilliant Viṣṇu became the arrow and Agni the spear-head.
27. O sage, the four Vedas are said to be his horses. The remaining planets became their embellishments.
28. His army came up from water. The winds were his feathers, wings etc. Vyāsa and other sages were the drivers of the vehicle.
29. O great sage, why should I dilate. I shall succinctly say. Everything in the world found a place in the chariot.
30. At the bidding of Brahmā and Viṣṇu the chariot and its adjuncts were created bythe intelligent Viśvakarman.[4]

*కామదృష్టి గలది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. కామము లేనిదే సృష్టి లేదు. శ్రీమాత జీవులయందలి కారుణ్యము కారణముగా సృష్టి నేర్పరచి జీవులను ప్రవేశ పెట్టును. జీవులు ప్రళయమున మరల సృష్టింపబడుటకు తహ తహ లాడుచుందురు. అట్టి తహ తహకు కారణము వివిధ దశలలో నున్న జీవుల అపరిపూర్ణత. అపరిపూర్ణులైన జీవులు పరిపూర్ణత కొరకు తపించు చుందురు. వారి తపనను గమనించిన శ్రీమాత కారుణ్య భావమున సృష్టి నేర్పరచును. జీవులకు వారి వారి పరిణామము ననుసరించి అనుగుణమైన దేహముల నేర్పరచును. ఇట్లు ఏడు లోకములందు జీవు లేర్పడుదురు. వారి పోషణమునకు కూడ శ్రీమాత సృష్టి యందు అన్ని సౌకర్యము లేర్పరచును. జీవులను సృష్టించుట, వారికి పోషణా సౌకర్యముల నేర్పరచుట, మనో ఇంద్రియాదులతో బాటు బుద్ధి నొసగుట, ఇట్టి బుద్ధిని వికాసము గావించుటకు విద్యా బోధకుల నేర్పరచుట- ఇట్టి సమస్త కార్యములు కారుణ్యమే కామముగ కన్నుల నుండే సృష్టించును.*

*It means that Srimata has the vision of desires. There is no creation without desires. The mercy of the Srimata is the cause of creation and brings in the creatures into creation. Living beings yearn to be re-created after annihilation. The cause of such craving is the imperfection of beings in different stages. Imperfect beings strive for perfection. Seeing their quest, Srimata brings creation into existence out of compassion. According to their evolution, living beings are born in suitable bodies. In these seven worlds the living beings arise. Even for their sustenance, Srimata provides all comforts in creation. Creating living beings, teaching them the facilities for their nurture, granting them intellect along with the senses, arranging the Teachers to develop this intellect - all these works are created by compassion from those desirous eyes.*
