సర్వజీవరాశుల చైతన్యముగా తాను ఉన్నాడు అను భావము కలుగుటకు శ్రీమాత అనుగ్రహము కావలెను. అట్టి అనుగ్రహము కొఱకే ఆరాధన. అవిద్య అను చీకటి గదిలో చీకటిని పారద్రోలు దీపము శ్రీమాత. అంతర్ముఖముగ నుండు అజ్ఞానపూరితమైన జీవుని స్వభావము నందు చీకటిని పారద్రోలు దీపము వంటిది శ్రీమాత. "అవిద్యానాం అంత స్థిమిర మిహిర ద్వీప నగరీ" అని ఆది శంకరులు శ్రీమాతను ప్రస్తుతి గావించినారు. కరుడు గట్టిన అజ్ఞానాంధకారమును పటాపంచలు చేయుట శ్రీమాతకే సాధ్యము. అజ్ఞాన తిమిరమునకు ఆమెయే మిహిర. ఆమె అనుగ్రహము వలననే అవిద్యా బంధము వీడును.

Sri Mata's grace is needed to feel that one is the consciousness of all living beings. Worship is for that Grace. Srimata is the lamp that dispels the darkness in the dark room of ignorance. Srimata is like the lamp that dispels the darkness in the nature of an inner ignorant being. Adi Sankarulu sang to Srimata that 'Avidyanam Anta Sthimira Mihira Dweepa Nagari'. Sri Mata is the only one who can dispel the stubborn ignorance. She is the Sun that dispels ignorance. It is because of her grace that ignorance will leave the bond.
