దేహముపై మోహము, తనపై తనకు మోహము, తనది, తన వారు అను మోహము, తిరోగతి మోహము, పదవీ మోహము, కీర్తి మోహము, ధనమోహము, స్త్రీ మోహము, జాతి కుల మత మోహము. ఇట్లు అంతులేని మోహములతో జీవుడు స్వాధీనము లేక పరాధీనుడై దీనుడై జీవించు చుండును. ఇట్టి వారికి రక్ష శ్రీమాతయే. మోహమునకు త్రిగుణములు ప్రధానమగు పనిముట్లుగ పని చేయును. గుణాత్మకుడుగ జీవుడు పుట్టగనే తానున్నాడనుకొనును. అప్పటి నుండి మోహ మారంభమగును. భస్మాసురుని నుండి శివుని బ్రోచుటకు, అసురుల నుండి అమృత మును కాపాడుటకు శ్రీమాత మోహినీ రూపము దాల్చినది. మోహమున కాకర్షింపబడి వారు ప్రమత్తులై కర్తవ్యము మరచిరి.

🌻 561. 'Mohini' - 3 🌻

There is attachment to the body, attachment to oneself, attachment to one’s belongings and loved ones, attachment to status, to fame, to wealth, to women, and even attachment to caste, race, and religion. Thus, with endless forms of delusion, the soul lives in helpless dependency. For such people, Shri Mata alone is the refuge and savior. The three gunas (sattva, rajas, and tamas) act as tools to strengthen delusion. From the moment a soul is born, the belief that it exists as an individual begins, and from then on, delusion starts its work. To save Lord Shiva from Bhasmasura and to protect the nectar (amrita) from the demons, Shri Mata took the form of Mohini. Enchanted by delusion, they became distracted and forgot their duties.
