జగన్నాథుడైన శ్రీనివాస స్వామి, మహాలక్ష్మి మరియు పద్మావతిదేవి సమేతుడై, శ్రీచక్ర మధ్యలో నివసిస్తూ చిదానంద స్వరూపుడిగా వెలుగొందుతున్న పరమాత్మా! నాపై కరుణ చూపి, నీ దివ్య కృపను ప్రసాదించుము.

“శుభ నివాస స్వామి” అనే పదబంధం ద్వారా శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరుని దైవ స్వరూపం భక్తుల హృదయాల్లో శాంతి, మంగళం, ఆనందం నింపే నివాసంగా ఉండే స్వామి అని సూచిస్తుంది. ఆయన సన్నిధిలో భక్తుడు పొందేది కేవలం భౌతిక సుఖం మాత్రమే కాదు; అంతర్ముఖమైన ఆనందం, చైతన్యం, ఆత్మసాక్షాత్కారం కూడా. ఈ స్వామి అనుగ్రహంతో మనసు శుద్ధి చెంది, జీవితం ధర్మమార్గంలో పయనిస్తుంది.

It is considered especially auspicious to chant it on Fridays, full moon days, or during evening prayers with a lit lamp. I bow my head to Lord Hanuman, who is as swift as the mind, as fast as the wind, who has conquered his senses, who is the श्रेष्ठ among the wise, the son of Vayu, the leader of the Vanara army, and the divine messenger of Lord Rama.

Hanuman Vijayotsavam, one of the most sacred festivals in Hindu tradition, is celebrated with deep devotion as He Found Sita Mata in the Lanka, the embodiment of courage, selfless service, and unwavering devotion. This auspicious day is observed as a “festival of victory” (Vijayotsavam). According to tradition, after Lord Rama was crowned in Ayodhya, he also grandly celebrated a victory festival on Chaitra Purnima in honor of Hanuman, who played a crucial role in finding Sita Mata in Lanka, upholding dharma, truth, and devotion. Since then, this day has been observed as a sacred Vijayotsavam.

Hanuman Vijayotsavam: In North India, Hanuman Jayanti is observed on the full moon day (Chaitra Purnima). The same occasion is referred to as Hanuman Vijayotsavam by us. In Odisha, people believe that Hanuman Jayanti falls on Mesha Sankranti. In Tamil Nadu, it is celebrated on the new moon day (Amavasya) of the Margashirsha month. In Karnataka, devotees observe it on the Shukla Trayodashi (13th day of the bright fortnight) in Margashirsha. In Telugu traditions, there is also a practice of observing Hanuman Vratham on that day. Additionally, in the month of Jyeshtha, the celestial wedding of Suvarchala Devi and Lord Hanuman is celebrated.

Lord Hanuman, the son of Vayu Deva and born to Anjana Devi, is a divine manifestation of strength, wisdom, and devotion. From childhood, he displayed extraordinary power and intelligence. The famous incident where he leaped towards the Sun, thinking it to be a fruit, reflects his immense strength. At the same time, he exemplified humility, discipline, and deep respect for his Guru. These qualities made him truly exceptional.

In the Ramayana, Hanuman’s role is central and indispensable. His devotion to Lord Rama is unmatched. His heroic deeds—discovering Sita Devi, entering Lanka, defeating demons, and setting Lanka ablaze—showcase his valor. Most notably, his leap across the ocean stands as a symbol of determination and fearless resolve. These glorious achievements are why Hanuman Jayanti is also revered as a festival of victory.

The full moon day of the Chaitra month is also known as “Maha Chaitri.” Scriptures mention that on this very day, after the defeat of Ravana and return to Ayodhya, Lord Rama organized a grand celebration to honor Hanuman’s invaluable service to Find Sita.

On Hanuman Jayanti, devotees observe fasting, visit temples of Lord Hanuman, and perform special prayers. Recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and Sundara Kanda is considered highly auspicious. Many also engage in charity and service activities. It is believed that by the grace of Hanuman, fear is removed, courage is strengthened, and success is attained in life.

Chanting the mantra “Sri Rama Dootaya Hanumate Namah” at least 21 times is believed to bestow protection and victory.

Hanuman is not merely a symbol of physical strength, but also of inner power, righteousness, devotion to the गुरु, and selfless service. His life teaches us a profound truth—“With true devotion, nothing is impossible.” On this sacred occasion, we should strive to imbibe his noble qualities and walk the path of dharma.

Thus, Hanuman Jayanti Vijayotsavam stands as a reminder of four great values—devotion, courage, service, and humility. May the blessings of Lord Hanuman bring health, happiness, and success to all…

మనస్సువలె వేగంగా ఉండే వాడు, గాలివలె వేగశక్తి కలవాడు, ఇంద్రియాలను జయించినవాడు, జ్ఞానుల్లో శ్రేష్ఠుడు, వాయుదేవుని పుత్రుడు, వానరసేనాధిపతి, శ్రీరాముని దూత అయిన హనుమంతుడికి నేను నమస్కరిస్తున్నాను.

హిందూ ధర్మంలో అత్యంత పవిత్రమైన పండుగలలో ఒకటైన హనుమజ్జయంతి విజయోత్సవం, పరాక్రమానికి, నిస్వార్థ సేవకు, అచంచల భక్తికి ప్రతీక అయిన శ్రీ ఆంజనేయ స్వామివారు సీతమ్మ వారిని లంకలో కనుగొన్న దినంగా అత్యంత భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో జరుపుకుంటారు. ఈ పర్వదినం “విజయోత్సవం” భావించ బడుతుంది. శ్రీరాముడు అయోధ్యకు పట్టాభిషిక్తుడైన తరువాత సీతమ్మను సరియైన కాలంలో కనుగొని, ధర్మానికి, సత్యానికి, భక్తికి సాధించిన విజయాల ప్రతీకగా, ఈ ధర్మ కార్యంలో తనకు అత్యంత సహాయం చేసిన హనుమంతునికి, చైత్ర పౌర్ణమి నాడు ఘనంగా విజయోత్సవం నిర్వహించాడని కూడా చెబుతారు. అప్పటి నుండి ఈ విజయోత్సవం మనం నిర్వహించుకుంటున్నాం.

హనుమద్విజయోత్సవం : ఉత్తరాది వారికి చైత్ర పూర్ణిమ హనుమజ్జయంతి. దానినే మనవారు హనుమద్విజయోత్సవం అంటారు. ఒరియా ప్రజలు మేష సంక్రాంతినాడు హనుమజ్జయంతి జరిగినట్లు భావిస్తారు. తమిళనాట మార్గశిర అమావాస్య నాడు హనుమజ్జయంతిని నిర్వహిస్తారు. మార్గశిరంలోనే శుద్ధ త్రయోదశి తిథిని కన్నడ ప్రజలు జరుపుకుంటారు. ఆనాడే తెలుగునాట హనుమద్ర్వతం చేసుకునే ఆచారం ఉంది. జ్యేష్ఠమాసంలో సువర్చలా హనుమంతుల కల్యాణం నిర్వహిస్తారు.

శ్రీ హనుమంతుడు వాయుదేవుని పుత్రుడిగా, అంజనాదేవి గర్భంలో అవతరించిన దివ్య శక్తి. బాల్యంలోనే అపారమైన బలం, ధైర్యం, జ్ఞానం కలిగి ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన సూర్యునిని ఫలమని భావించి దానిని తినడానికి ఎగిరిన సంఘటన ఆయన అసామాన్య శక్తిని తెలియజేస్తుంది. కానీ అదే సమయంలో వినయం, నియంత్రణ, గురుభక్తి వంటి లక్షణాలను కూడా ఆయన ప్రదర్శించాడు. ఈ లక్షణాలే ఆయనను ఇతరుల కంటే ప్రత్యేకంగా నిలిపాయి.

రామాయణంలో హనుమంతుడి పాత్ర అత్యంత కీలకం. శ్రీరాముని పట్ల ఆయనకు ఉన్న భక్తి అచంచలమైనది. సీతాదేవిని కనుగొనడం, లంకలో ప్రవేశించడం, రాక్షసులను సంహరించడం, లంకను దహనం చేయడం వంటి కార్యాలు ఆయన పరాక్రమాన్ని ప్రతిబింబిస్తాయి. ముఖ్యంగా సముద్రాన్ని దాటిన ఘట్టం ఆయన సంకల్పబలం మరియు ధైర్యానికి నిదర్శనం. ఈ విజయాలన్నీ ఈ హనుమజ్జయంతిని “విజయోత్సవం”గా భావించే కారణం.

చైత్ర మాసంలో వచ్చే పౌర్ణమిని ‘మహా చైత్రి’ అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు. చైత్ర పౌర్ణమి నాడే.. రావణ సంహారం తర్వాత అయోధ్యకు తిరిగి వచ్చిన శ్రీరాముడు.. హనుమంతుడి సీతమ్మను సరియైన కాలంలో కనుగొని చేసిన సాయానికి కృతజ్ఞతగా పెద్ద ఎత్తున విజయోత్సవం జరిపిన రోజుగా పురాణాలు చెబుతున్నాయి.

హనుమజ్జయంతి రోజున భక్తులు ఉపవాసం ఉంటూ, ఆంజనేయ స్వామి ఆలయాలకు వెళ్లి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేస్తారు. “హనుమాన్ చాలీసా”, “సుందరకాండ” పారాయణం చేస్తూ భక్తులు ఆయన అనుగ్రహాన్ని కోరుకుంటారు. కొంతమంది తమ శక్తి మేరకు అన్నదానం చేసి, సేవా కార్యక్రమాలలో పాల్గొంటారు. ఈ రోజు హనుమంతుడి ఆశీస్సులతో భయం తొలగి, ధైర్యం పెరిగి, జీవితంలో విజయాలు సాధిస్తామని విశ్వసిస్తారు.

“శ్రీ రామదూతాయ హనుమతే నమః” అనే మంత్రాన్ని కనీసం 21 సార్లు పఠించడం వల్ల రక్షణ మరియు విజయం లభిస్తాయి.

హనుమంతుడు కేవలం బలానికి ప్రతీక మాత్రమే కాదు, ఆత్మశక్తి, ధర్మబద్ధత, గురుభక్తి, సేవాభావం వంటి విలువల ప్రతిరూపం. ఆయన జీవితం మనకు ఒక గొప్ప సందేశం ఇస్తుంది – “భక్తి ఉంటే అసాధ్యం అనే దే లేదు.” హనుమజ్జయంతి సందర్భంగా మనం కూడా ఆయన గుణాలను ఆచరిస్తూ, మన జీవితంలో ధర్మమార్గంలో నడవాలని సంకల్పించాలి.

ఈ విధంగా హనుమజ్జయంతి విజయోత్సవం మనకు భక్తి, ధైర్యం, సేవ, వినయం అనే నాలుగు ప్రధాన విలువలను గుర్తుచేసే పవిత్రమైన పర్వదినంగా నిలుస్తుంది. శ్రీ ఆంజనేయ స్వామివారి కృపతో అందరికీ ఆయురారోగ్యాలు, సుఖసంతోషాలు, విజయాలు కలగాలని ప్రార్థిస్తూ…జై శ్రీ రామ్! జై హనుమాన్!

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని వైభవోపేతమైన కడప జిల్లాలో ఉన్న పవిత్రక్షేత్రం ఒంటిమిట్ట. అక్కడ వెలసిన శ్రీ కోదండ రామస్వామి దేవాలయం అనేది భక్తి, శాంతి, ధర్మానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచిన దివ్యక్షేత్రం. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం శ్రీరామనవమి సందర్భంగా (ఏప్రిల్ వ తేదీ) జరిగే కళ్యాణోత్సవం ఈ ఆలయానికి ప్రత్యేక మహిమను తెచ్చిపెడుతుంది. శ్రీరామచంద్ర ప్రభువు చంద్ర దేవునికి ఇచ్చిన మాట ప్రకారం చైత్ర పౌర్ణమి రాత్రి చంద్రుని వెన్నెలలో ఈ కళ్యాణం జరుగుతుంది.

ఒంటిమిట్టలో జరిగే ఈ కళ్యాణోత్సవం కేవలం ఒక ఉత్సవం మాత్రమే కాదు—ఇది ధర్మం, ప్రేమ, నిష్ఠల కలయికకు ప్రతీక. శ్రీరాముడు పరిపూర్ణ పురుషోత్తముడు; సీతమ్మ పవిత్రత, సహనం, అంకితభావానికి ప్రతిరూపం. ఈ ఇద్దరి దివ్య వివాహం మనకు గృహస్థాశ్రమ ధర్మాన్ని, పరస్పర గౌరవాన్ని, ఆదర్శ దాంపత్యాన్ని నేర్పుతుంది.

ఈ కళ్యాణోత్సవంలో జరిగే ప్రతి క్షణం ఆధ్యాత్మిక ఆనందంతో నిండిపోతుంది. వేదఘోషలు, మంగళ వాయిద్యాలు, హారతులు, పుష్పాలంకరణలు—అన్నీ కలిపి ఒక దైవీ వాతావరణం సృష్టిస్తాయి. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణం మొత్తం పండుగ వాతావరణంలో మెరిసిపోతూ, భక్తుల హృదయాలను భక్తిరసంతో నింపుతుంది. కళ్లముందు జరిగే ఈ దివ్య కళ్యాణాన్ని దర్శించడం ద్వారా మనలోని కష్టాలు తొలగిపోతాయని, సౌఖ్యం, శాంతి, ఐశ్వర్యం కలుగుతాయని విశ్వాసం.

ఒంటిమిట్ట కోదండ రామస్వామి ఆలయానికి మరో విశిష్టత—ఇక్కడ శ్రీరాముడు, సీతమ్మ, లక్ష్మణస్వామి ఒకే శిలలో చెక్కబడి ఉండటం. ఇది భక్తులలో ఏకత్వ భావాన్ని పెంచుతుంది.

ఈ పవిత్ర వేడుక మనకు ఒక స్ఫూర్తి—జీవితంలో ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితులైనా ధర్మాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టకూడదని, ప్రేమతో, సహనంతో ముందుకు సాగాలని గుర్తు చేస్తుంది. శ్రీరాముడి ఆశీస్సులతో ప్రతి ఇంట్లో సుఖశాంతులు నిండాలని, ప్రతి హృదయంలో భక్తి దీపం వెలిగాలని మనసారా కోరుకుందాం.

In the sacred land of Andhra Pradesh, nestled in the Kadapa district, lies the spiritually vibrant temple of Ontimitta, home to the divine Sri Kodandarama Swamy. This ancient temple stands as a symbol of devotion, righteousness, and timeless dharma. Every year, on the auspicious occasion on 1st April of Sri Rama Navami, the grand Sri SitaRam Kalyanotsavam is celebrated with immense devotion and splendor. According to the promise given by Lord Sri Ramachandra to the Moon God, this Kalyanam performed under the moonlight at night on Chaitra Pournami Day.

This divine wedding is not merely a ritual—it is a profound spiritual reminder of ideal life values. Lord Rama, the embodiment of righteousness and virtue, and Goddess Sita, the symbol of purity, patience, and unwavering devotion, together represent the perfect harmony of dharma and love. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని వైభవోపేతమైన కడప జిల్లాలో ఉన్న పవిత్రక్షేత్రం ఒంటిమిట్ట. అక్కడ వెలసిన శ్రీ కోదండ రామస్వామి దేవాలయం అనేది భక్తి, శాంతి, ధర్మానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచిన దివ్యక్షేత్రం. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం శ్రీరామనవమి సందర్భంగా (ఏప్రిల్ వ తేదీ) జరిగే కళ్యాణోత్సవం ఈ ఆలయానికి ప్రత్యేక మహిమను తెచ్చిపెడుతుంది. శ్రీరామచంద్ర ప్రభువు చంద్ర దేవునికి ఇచ్చిన మాట ప్రకారం చైత్ర పౌర్ణమి రాత్రి చంద్రుని వెన్నెలలో ఈ కళ్యాణం జరుగుతుంది.

The sacred festival of Panguni Uthiram, which falls on the auspicious day of Madana Pournima (April 1), is one of the most spiritually significant and blessed occasions in Hindu tradition. Occurring during the vibrant spring season, this day beautifully unites the profound themes of love, purity, divine grace, and marital harmony. It is believed that on this very day, Lord Murugan—the destroyer of evil and protector of the Devas—married Deivayanai (Devasena), the daughter of Lord Indra, at the holy shrine of Thiruparankundram.

Devasena (Deivanai) (Kriya Shakti): Daughter of Indra, she is considered the legal/ritualistic wife. Following Murugan's victory over the demon Surapadman, Indra offered her hand in marriage as a token of gratitude and righteousness, a "Vaidika" (traditional) marriage.

Valli (Iccha Shakti): A tribal woman raised by hunters, representing unconditional love and devotion. Murugan wooed her to demonstrate that sincere, pure love matters more than status (often termed a "Gandharva" marriage).

This divine wedding is not merely a mythological event; it carries a deep spiritual meaning. The union of Lord Murugan with Deivayanai symbolizes the merging of the Supreme with Kriya Shakti (the power of action). It teaches us that when our actions are guided and supported by divine grace, they naturally lead to success. Just as Deivayanai attained the Lord through intense penance, it reminds us that sincere devotion, patience, and unwavering commitment will always bear fruit in life.

On the same day, the observance of Madana Pournima Vratam highlights the sacred nature of love. Kamadeva (the god of love), who shoots flower-arrows to awaken love in beings, represents this energy. However, the well-known legend of Lord Shiva burning Kamadeva conveys a deeper truth—uncontrolled desire can destroy the mind, but when that same energy is transformed into love and devotion, it becomes a path to spiritual elevation. Thus, Madana Pournima represents the inner journey from desire to love, and from love to devotion.

The vratam (sacred observance) on this day is simple yet profound. Devotees take a ritual bath in the morning, wear clean clothes, and worship Kamadeva and Rati Devi with flowers, incense, and lamps. They pray for the removal of inner impurities such as desire, anger, and greed. In the evening, they offer prayers to the full moon and conclude the vratam. This observance is believed to promote marital harmony, mutual understanding, and family unity. It is also undertaken by those seeking a suitable marriage and emotional peace.

At major Murugan temples such as Thiruparankundram, Palani, and Tiruchendur, this day is celebrated grandly as the “Kalyana Vratham” (divine wedding observance). Lord Murugan, revered as the “Visible God” (Kankanda Deivam), is believed to bless devotees on this sacred day by removing their sufferings and granting health, peace, and happiness.

Thus, Madana Pournima and Panguni Uthiram together reveal a profound truth of life—love is not merely an emotion; it is the very foundation of creation and a pathway to the Divine. When we discipline our desires and transform them into compassion, devotion, and selflessness, life attains true fulfillment.

ఏప్రిల్ 1న వచ్చే మదన పౌర్ణిమ రోజున జరగే పంగుని ఉత్తిరం పండుగ హిందూ సంప్రదాయంలో అత్యంత పవిత్రమైనది, శుభప్రదమైనది. వసంత ఋతువు సౌందర్యంతో కళకళలాడే ఈ దినం, ప్రేమ, శుద్ధి, దైవ అనుగ్రహం, దాంపత్య ఐక్యత అనే మహత్తర భావాలను ఒకటిగా కలిపే దివ్య సందర్భం. ఈ రోజునే అసుర సంహారకుడు, దేవతల రక్షకుడు అయిన శ్రీ మురుగన్ స్వామి, ఇంద్రుని కుమార్తె మరియు శుభలక్షణాల ప్రతిరూపమైన దేవయానై అమ్మవారిని తిరుపరంకుండ్రం క్షేత్రంలో వివాహమాడిన దినంగా భావించబడుతుంది.

ఇదే రోజున ఆచరించబడే మదన పౌర్ణిమ వ్రతం ప్రేమ అనే దైవిక శక్తిని గుర్తుచేస్తుంది. మన్మథుడు (కామదేవుడు) పుష్పబాణాలను సంధించి జీవులలో ప్రేమను కలిగించే దేవుడిగా వర్ణించబడినా, శివుడు ఆయనను దహనం చేసిన పురాణ గాథ మనకు లోతైన సందేశాన్ని ఇస్తుంది. నియంత్రణలేని కామం మనసును దహనం చేస్తుంది; కానీ అదే శక్తిని నియంత్రించి ప్రేమగా, భక్తిగా మారిస్తే అది ఆధ్యాత్మిక మార్గానికి దారి తీస్తుంది. అందువల్ల మదన పౌర్ణిమ అనేది కామం నుండి ప్రేమకు, ప్రేమ నుండి భక్తికి జరిగే అంతరంగ ప్రయాణానికి సంకేతం.

ఈ పౌర్ణిమ రోజున వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరించే వారు ఉదయం స్నానం చేసి, శుభ్రమైన వస్త్రాలు ధరించి, కామదేవుడు మరియు రతి దేవిని ధ్యానిస్తూ పూజలు చేస్తారు. పూలు, గంధం, దీపం సమర్పించి మనస్సులోని కామ, క్రోధ, లోభాది దోషాలను తొలగించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తారు. సాయంత్రం పౌర్ణిమ చంద్రుణ్ణి దర్శించి వ్రతాన్ని ముగిస్తారు. ఈ వ్రతం ముఖ్యంగా దాంపత్య సౌఖ్యం, పరస్పర అవగాహన, కుటుంబ ఐక్యతను పెంపొందించడంలో ఎంతో మేలు చేస్తుందని విశ్వాసం ఉంది.

తిరుపరంకుండ్రం, పళని, తిరుచేందూర్ వంటి ప్రముఖ మురుగన్ ఆలయాలలో ఈ రోజు “కల్యాణ వ్రతం”గా వైభవంగా జరుపుకుంటారు. “కంకండ దైవం”గా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన శ్రీ మురుగన్ స్వామి, ఈ పవిత్ర దినంలో తనను ఆశ్రయించే భక్తుల కష్టాలను తొలగించి, వారికి ఆరోగ్యం, శాంతి, ఆనందం ప్రసాదిస్తాడని నమ్మకం.

ఈ విధంగా మదన పౌర్ణిమ మరియు పంగుని ఉత్తిరం రెండు కలసి మనకు ఒక గొప్ప జీవన సత్యాన్ని తెలియజేస్తాయి -ప్రేమ అనేది కేవలం భావోద్వేగం కాదు; అది సృష్టికి మూలాధారం, దైవత్వానికి మార్గం. మనలోని కోరికలను నియంత్రించి, వాటిని ప్రేమగా, దయగా, భక్తిగా మార్చుకున్నప్పుడే మన జీవితం పరిపూర్ణమవుతుంది.
