🌻 375. 'కామపూజితా'🌻

మన్మథునిచే పూజింపబడునది శ్రీదేవి అని అర్థము. మన్మథుడు లక్ష్మీదేవి పుత్రుడు. అతి మనోహరమైన రూపము గలవాడు. సృష్టి కామమునకు అతడు అధిదేవత. స్త్రీ పురుష కామమునకు ప్రతిరూపము. కామప్రేరణ ద్వారా మనస్సులయందు మథనము చేయువాడు. సతీదేవి దక్ష యజ్ఞమున ఆహుతి చెంది పార్వతిగ మరల పుట్టి శివుని గూర్చి ఘోర తపస్సు కావించినపుడు ఆమెకు తోడ్పడవలెనన్న అభిలాషతో ఈశ్వరునికై తన శక్తిని ప్రయోగింపగ ఈశ్వరుడు కన్ను తెరచి చూసుసరికి అతడు భస్మరాశి అయ్యెను.

అటుపైన పార్వతీదేవి తపస్సు ద్వారా ఈశ్వరుని మెప్పించి అతనిని పరిణయమాడినది. పిదప భస్మరాశిగ మిగిలియున్న కాముని అనుగ్రహించి సజీవుని చేసెను. ‘కామ సంజీవ నౌషధిః' అను నామమున ఇది పేర్కొనుట జరిగినది. శ్రీమాతచే సజీవుడైన మన్మథుడు అటుపైన శ్రీదేవి నుండి పంచదశాక్షరి మంత్రమును ఉపదేశముగ పొందినాడు. ఆ మంత్రమును ఉపాసించుచు జీవుల లింగ శరీరముల నధిష్ఠించి సృష్టి కార్యమును నిర్వర్తించు చున్నాడు. కామునిచే నిత్యము శ్రీమాత పూజింప బడుచున్నది. కావున 'కామ పూజిత' అయినది.

🕉. మీరు సాధ్యమైనది కోరుకున్నప్పుడు, అసాధ్యమైనది కూడా జరగవచ్చు. మీరు అసాధ్యాన్ని కోరుకున్నప్పుడు, సాధ్యమైనది కూడా కష్టమవుతుంది. 🕉

🍀 191. HANKERING FOR THE POSSIBLE 🍀

🕉 When you desire the possible, the impossible can also happen. When you desire the impossible, even the possible becomes difficult. 🕉

There are two types of people, low energy and high energy. There is nothing good in being high energy or bad in being low energy. That's how two types exist. The low-energy people move very slowly. They don't leap. They don't explode. They simply grow as trees grow. They take more time, but their growth is more settled, more certain, and falling back is difficult. Once they have reached a certain point, they will not easily lose it again. High-energy people move quickly. They jump. They leap. With them, the work goes very fast. That's good, but there is one problem with them: They can lose whatever they achieve as easily as they achieved it. They fall back very easily because their movement has been jumping, not a growth. Growth needs very slow ripening, seasoning, time.

Low-energy people will be defeated in a worldly competition. They will always lag behind. That's why they have become condemned. There is such competition in the world. They will fall out of the rat race; they will not be able to remain in it. They will be pushed out, thrown out. But as far as spiritual growth is concerned, they can grow more deeply than high-energy people because they can wait and be patient. They are not in too much of a hurry. They don't want anything instantly. Their expectation is never for the impossible; they only hanker for the possible.

🌻. శివ పార్వతుల కైలాసగమనము - 3 🌻

తన నాథుడగు మహేశ్వరుని ఈ మాటను విని, శంకరునకు నిత్యప్రియురాలగు పార్వతి (సతీదేవి) చిరునవ్వుతో నిట్లనెను (20).

పార్వతి ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ ప్రాణనాథా ! సర్వము నాకు గుర్తున్నది. ఇప్పుడు మీరు మౌనముగా నుండి ఇప్పటి సందర్భమునకు ఉచితమగు కార్యమును వెంటనే చేయుడు. మీకు నమస్కారమగు గాక! (21).

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

అమృతధారలతో సమమగు ప్రియురాలి ఈ మాటను విని లోకాచారమునందు నిష్ఠగల విశ్వేశ్వరుడు మిక్కిలి సంతసించెను (22). శివుడు సామగ్రిని కూడగట్టి అనేక పదార్థములతో గూడిన మనోహరమగు భోజనము నారాయణుడు మొదలగు దేవతలకు ఏర్పాటు చేసెను (23).

మరియు ఆ ప్రభుడు తన వివాహమునకు వచ్చిన వారందరికి రుచ్యమగు బహువిధముల అన్నమును ప్రీతితో భుజింపజేసెను (24). అనేక రత్నాభరణములతో ప్రకాశించు ఆ దేవతలు అందరు భుజించి భార్యలతో గణములతో కలిసి చంద్రశేఖరుని ప్రణమిల్లిరి (25).

తరువాత దేవతలు ఇష్టములగు వాక్కులతో చక్కగా స్తుతించి ఆనందముతో ప్రదక్షిణము చేసి వివాహమును కొనియాడుతూ తమ ధామములకు వెళ్లిరి (26). ఓ మునీ! శివుడు లోకాచారముననుసరించి, విష్ణువు కశ్యపుని వలె, నారాయణుని నన్ను స్వయముగా ప్రణమిల్లెను (27).

నేను శివుని కౌగిలించుకొని, ఆశీర్వదించి, మరల ఆయన పరబ్రహ్మయని గుర్తించి యెదుట ఉత్తమ మగు స్తోత్రమును చేసితిని (28). విష్ణువు నాతో కలసి శివుని అనుమతిని పొంది పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరుల వివాహమును ప్రీతితో కొనియాడుతూ తన పరమధామమునకు వెళ్లెను (29).

Pārvatī said:—

21. O dear lord, I remember everything as well as the fact that you became a silent ascetic. Obeisance to you. Please do everything necessary now befitting the occasion.

Brahmā said:—

22. On hearing her words as pleasing as the steady flow of nectar, Śiva rejoiced much, eagerly devoted to the way of the world.

23. Getting every requisite thing ready, he fed the gods including Viṣṇu and others with various pleasant things.

24. He fed all the others who had attended His marriage with juicy cooked food of various sorts.

25. After taking food the gods and the Gaṇas, with their womenfolk fully bedecked in gems and jewels bowed to the moon-crested lord.

26. After eulogising Him with pleasing words and circumambulating Him with joy they praised the marriage celebration and returned to their abodes.

27. O sage, Śiva Himself bowed to me and to Viṣṇu following the worldly convention as Viṣṇu had bowed to Kaśyapa.

28. Considering Him the supreme Brahman I eulogised him in the excellent manner after embracing him and offering him my benediction.

29. Viṣṇu and I with palms joined in reverence, took leave of them and praising the marriage of Śiva and Pārvatī went back to Viṣṇu’s abode.

విష్ణుపూజాంగముగ ద్వారదక్షిణభాగమున ధాతను, విధాతను, వామభాగమున ధాతను, విధాతను, వామభాగమును గంగను యమునను రెండు నిధులను, ద్వార లక్ష్మిని, వాస్తుపురుషుని శక్తిని, కుర్మమును, అనంతుని, పృథివిని, ధర్మమును జ్ఞానమును, వైరాగ్యమును, ఐశ్వర్యమును, ఆధర్మాదులను, పద్మభావన చేసి దాని కందమును, నాళమును, పద్మకేసరములను పద్మవర్ణిక (మధ్యభాగము)ను, ఋగ్వేదాదులను, కృతయుగాదులను, సత్త్వాదిగుణములను, సూర్యాది మండలమును, పూజించవలెను. విమల, ఉత్కర్షిణీ, జ్ఞానా, క్రియా, యోగాది శక్తులను పూజించవలెను.

ప్రహ్వి, సత్య, ఈశ, అనుగ్రహి, అమలమూర్తి యగు దుర్గ, గీర్దేవి, గణము, గణాధిపతి క్షేత్రము, క్షేత్రపాలుడు వాసుదేవాదులు వీరిని కూడ పూజింపవలెను.

హృదయమును శిరస్సును, కేశశిఖను, కవచమును, అస్త్రమును, శంఖమును, చక్రమును గదను, పద్మమును, శ్రీవత్సమును, కౌస్తుభమును, వనమాలను, లక్ష్మిని పుష్టిని, గరుత్మంతుని, గురువును, ఇంద్రుని, అగ్నిని యముని, రాక్షసుని, జలమును, వాయువును, కుబేరుని, ఈశ్వరుని, బ్రహ్మను అస్త్రమును, వహనమును, కుముదాదులను విష్వక్సేనుని పూజింపవలెను.


ఈ విధముగా పూజ మండలాదులలో చేసినచో సిద్ది లభించును.

🌻 Method of worshipping Viṣṇu and other gods - 1 🌻

Nārada said:

1. I will (now) describe the general method of worshipping Viṣṇu and others as well as the mantras (mystic formulae) which yield good to all. One has to worship (him by saying) “Salutations to Acyuta (Viṣṇu) and to (his) entire family (of gods).

2-4. (Salutation to) Dhātṛ, Vidhātṛ,[1] Gaṅgā, Yamunā, the two nidhis (treasures), the fortune of Dvāra (Dvārakā), the Vāstu-deity (the presiding deity of the housesite), Śakti (female divinity), Kūrma (tortoise), Ananta (the serpent), the Earth, righteous knowledge, detachment from the world, the omnipotence (of the lord), the unrighteousness etc. the root, stalk, filament and pericarp of the lotus, Ṛgveda and other (Vedas), Kṛta and other (yugas), sattva and other (qualities), the solar and other regions, the pure and elevating union of knowledge and action. One has to worship these.

5. Joy, truth, the goddess benevolently placed, Durgā (Pārvatī), speech, goblins, field and Vāsudeva and others are worshipped.

6. The heart, head, coat of mail, eye and weapons, conch, disc, mace, lotus, Śrīvatsa (sacred mark on Lord Kṛṣṇa’s chest) and the Kaustubha gem are worshipped.

7. The garland of wood-flowers (worn by Kṛṣṇa), Śrī (Lakṣmī), Puṣṭi (nourishment), Garuḍa (vehicle of Viṣṇu), and the preceptor are worshipped. Indra, Agni, Yama, Rakṣa (Nairṛta), water, wind, lord of wealth (Kubera) (are also worshipped).

8. That Īśāna, the unborn, and weapons, vehicles, Kumuda and others (are worshipped next). By the worship of Viṣvaksena (all-pervasive) (Viṣṇu) in a circle first, one gets his desires accomplished.

9. Then the general worship of Śiva (is described). One has to worship Nandin at first. (Then) Mahākāla (Śiva), Gaṅgā, Yamunā, Gaṇas, and others (are worshipped).

అహంకారం మమకారమనే ఇద్దరు శత్రువులు మనసుకు ఉన్నారు. ఆత్మ కాని దానిని ఆత్మ అనుకొనుట, నాది కాని దాన్ని నాది అనుకొనుట. ఈ రెండు అభిమానములతో ఎర్పడిన కామ లోభములనే కల్మషములు ఎపుడైతే మనసు తొలగి ఉంటుందో, అప్పుడు మనసు శుద్ధం. ఆత్మకు శుద్ధి కలగాలంటే కల్మషమైన మనస్సు పోవాలి. ఎపుడైతే దుఖాన్ని సుఖాన్ని సమముగా మనసు చూస్తుదో అప్పుడు మనసు శుద్ధమైనదని తెలుసుకో.

విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతల సామాన్య పూజను, సర్వ ఫలములను ఇచ్చు మంత్రములను గూర్చి చెప్పెను. సకల పరివార సమేతుడైన అబ్యుతునికి నమస్కరించి పూజించవలెను.

విష్ణుపూజాంగముగ ద్వారదక్షిణభాగమున ధాతను, విధాతను, వామభాగమున ధాతను, విధాతను, వామభాగమును గంగను యమునను రెండు నిధులను, ద్వార లక్ష్మిని, వాస్తుపురుషుని శక్తిని, కుర్మమును, అనంతుని, పృథివిని, ధర్మమును జ్ఞానమును, వైరాగ్యమును, ఐశ్వర్యమును, ఆధర్మాదులను, పద్మభావన చేసి దాని కందమును, నాళమును, పద్మకేసరములను పద్మవర్ణిక (మధ్యభాగము)ను, ఋగ్వేదాదులను, కృతయుగాదులను, సత్త్వాదిగుణములను, సూర్యాది మండలమును, పూజించవలెను. విమల, ఉత్కర్షిణీ, జ్ఞానా, క్రియా, యోగాది శక్తులను పూజించవలెను. 

ప్రహ్వి, సత్య, ఈశ, అనుగ్రహి, అమలమూర్తి యగు దుర్గ, గీర్దేవి, గణము, గణాధిపతి క్షేత్రము, క్షేత్రపాలుడు వాసుదేవాదులు వీరిని కూడ పూజింపవలెను. 

హృదయమును శిరస్సును, కేశశిఖను, కవచమును, అస్త్రమును, శంఖమును, చక్రమును గదను, పద్మమును, శ్రీవత్సమును, కౌస్తుభమును, వనమాలను, లక్ష్మిని పుష్టిని, గరుత్మంతుని, గురువును, ఇంద్రుని, అగ్నిని యముని, రాక్షసుని, జలమును, వాయువును, కుబేరుని, ఈశ్వరుని, బ్రహ్మను అస్త్రమును, వహనమును, కుముదాదులను విష్వక్సేనుని పూజింపవలెను. 

ఈ విధముగా పూజ మండలాదులలో చేసినచో సిద్ది లభించును.

*🌻 Method of worshipping Viṣṇu and other gods - 1 🌻*

Nārada said:

1. I will (now) describe the general method of worshipping Viṣṇu and others as well as the mantras (mystic formulae) which yield good to all. One has to worship (him by saying) “Salutations to Acyuta (Viṣṇu) and to (his) entire family (of gods).

2-4. (Salutation to) Dhātṛ, Vidhātṛ,[1] Gaṅgā, Yamunā, the two nidhis (treasures), the fortune of Dvāra (Dvārakā), the Vāstu-deity (the presiding deity of the housesite), Śakti (female divinity), Kūrma (tortoise), Ananta (the serpent), the Earth, righteous knowledge, detachment from the world, the omnipotence (of the lord), the unrighteousness etc. the root, stalk, filament and pericarp of the lotus, Ṛgveda and other (Vedas), Kṛta and other (yugas), sattva and other (qualities), the solar and other regions, the pure and elevating union of knowledge and action. One has to worship these.

5. Joy, truth, the goddess benevolently placed, Durgā (Pārvatī), speech, goblins, field and Vāsudeva and others are worshipped.

6. The heart, head, coat of mail, eye and weapons, conch, disc, mace, lotus, Śrīvatsa (sacred mark on Lord Kṛṣṇa’s chest) and the Kaustubha gem are worshipped.

7. The garland of wood-flowers (worn by Kṛṣṇa), Śrī (Lakṣmī), Puṣṭi (nourishment), Garuḍa (vehicle of Viṣṇu), and the preceptor are worshipped. Indra, Agni, Yama, Rakṣa (Nairṛta), water, wind, lord of wealth (Kubera) (are also worshipped).

8. That Īśāna, the unborn, and weapons, vehicles, Kumuda and others (are worshipped next). By the worship of Viṣvaksena (all-pervasive) (Viṣṇu) in a circle first, one gets his desires accomplished.

9. Then the general worship of Śiva (is described). One has to worship Nandin at first. (Then) Mahākāla (Śiva), Gaṅgā, Yamunā, Gaṇas, and others (are worshipped).

తన నాథుడగు మహేశ్వరుని ఈ మాటను విని, శంకరునకు నిత్యప్రియురాలగు పార్వతి (సతీదేవి) చిరునవ్వుతో నిట్లనెను (20). 

పార్వతి ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ ప్రాణనాథా ! సర్వము నాకు గుర్తున్నది. ఇప్పుడు మీరు మౌనముగా నుండి ఇప్పటి సందర్భమునకు ఉచితమగు కార్యమును వెంటనే చేయుడు. మీకు నమస్కారమగు గాక! (21).

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

అమృతధారలతో సమమగు ప్రియురాలి ఈ మాటను విని లోకాచారమునందు నిష్ఠగల విశ్వేశ్వరుడు మిక్కిలి సంతసించెను (22). శివుడు సామగ్రిని కూడగట్టి అనేక పదార్థములతో గూడిన మనోహరమగు భోజనము నారాయణుడు మొదలగు దేవతలకు ఏర్పాటు చేసెను (23). 

మరియు ఆ ప్రభుడు తన వివాహమునకు వచ్చిన వారందరికి రుచ్యమగు బహువిధముల అన్నమును ప్రీతితో భుజింపజేసెను (24). అనేక రత్నాభరణములతో ప్రకాశించు ఆ దేవతలు అందరు భుజించి భార్యలతో గణములతో కలిసి చంద్రశేఖరుని ప్రణమిల్లిరి (25).

తరువాత దేవతలు ఇష్టములగు వాక్కులతో చక్కగా స్తుతించి ఆనందముతో ప్రదక్షిణము చేసి వివాహమును కొనియాడుతూ తమ ధామములకు వెళ్లిరి (26). ఓ మునీ! శివుడు లోకాచారముననుసరించి, విష్ణువు కశ్యపుని వలె, నారాయణుని నన్ను స్వయముగా ప్రణమిల్లెను (27). 

నేను శివుని కౌగిలించుకొని, ఆశీర్వదించి, మరల ఆయన పరబ్రహ్మయని గుర్తించి యెదుట ఉత్తమ మగు స్తోత్రమును చేసితిని (28). విష్ణువు నాతో కలసి శివుని అనుమతిని పొంది పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరుల వివాహమును ప్రీతితో కొనియాడుతూ తన పరమధామమునకు వెళ్లెను (29).

Brahmā said:—

22. On hearing her words as pleasing as the steady flow of nectar, Śiva rejoiced much, eagerly devoted to the way of the world.

23. Getting every requisite thing ready, he fed the gods including Viṣṇu and others with various pleasant things.

24. He fed all the others who had attended His marriage with juicy cooked food of various sorts.

25. After taking food the gods and the Gaṇas, with their womenfolk fully bedecked in gems and jewels bowed to the moon-crested lord.

26. After eulogising Him with pleasing words and circumambulating Him with joy they praised the marriage celebration and returned to their abodes.

27. O sage, Śiva Himself bowed to me and to Viṣṇu following the worldly convention as Viṣṇu had bowed to Kaśyapa.

28. Considering Him the supreme Brahman I eulogised him in the excellent manner after embracing him and offering him my benediction.

29. Viṣṇu and I with palms joined in reverence, took leave of them and praising the marriage of Śiva and Pārvatī went back to Viṣṇu’s abode.

*తక్కువ శక్తి గల వ్యక్తులు ప్రాపంచిక పోటీలో ఓడిపోతారు. వారు ఎప్పుడూ వెనుకబడి ఉంటారు. అందుకే వారు ఖండించబడ్డారు. ప్రపంచంలో అలాంటి పోటీ ఉంది. వారు ఎలుక రేసు నుండి బయట పడతారు; వారు దానిలో ఉండలేరు. వారు బయటకు నెట్టబడతారు, విసిరి వేయబడతారు. కానీ ఆధ్యాత్మిక వృద్ధికి సంబంధించినంత వరకు, వారు అధిక శక్తి గల వ్యక్తుల కంటే మరింత లోతుగా ఎదగగలరు. ఎందుకంటే వారు వేచి ఉండ గలరు. ఓపిక పట్టగలరు. వారు చాలా తొందరపడరు. వారు తక్షణమే ఏమీ కోరుకోరు. వారి నిరీక్షణ అసాధ్యమైనది కాదు; వారు ఖచ్చితంగా సాధించగల అసాధ్యమైన దాని కోసం మాత్రమే ఆరాట పడతారు.*

*There are two types of people, low energy and high energy. There is nothing good in being high energy or bad in being low energy. That's how two types exist. The low-energy people move very slowly. They don't leap. They don't explode. They simply grow as trees grow. They take more time, but their growth is more settled, more certain, and falling back is difficult. Once they have reached a certain point, they will not easily lose it again. High-energy people move quickly. They jump. They leap. With them, the work goes very fast. That's good, but there is one problem with them: They can lose whatever they achieve as easily as they achieved it. They fall back very easily because their movement has been jumping, not a growth. Growth needs very slow ripening, seasoning, time.*

*Low-energy people will be defeated in a worldly competition. They will always lag behind. That's why they have become condemned. There is such competition in the world. They will fall out of the rat race; they will not be able to remain in it. They will be pushed out, thrown out. But as far as spiritual growth is concerned, they can grow more deeply than high-energy people because they can wait and be patient. They are not in too much of a hurry. They don't want anything instantly. Their expectation is never for the impossible; they only hanker for the possible.*

*మన్మథునిచే పూజింపబడునది శ్రీదేవి అని అర్థము. మన్మథుడు లక్ష్మీదేవి పుత్రుడు. అతి మనోహరమైన రూపము గలవాడు. సృష్టి కామమునకు అతడు అధిదేవత. స్త్రీ పురుష కామమునకు ప్రతిరూపము. కామప్రేరణ ద్వారా మనస్సులయందు మథనము చేయువాడు. సతీదేవి దక్ష యజ్ఞమున ఆహుతి చెంది పార్వతిగ మరల పుట్టి శివుని గూర్చి ఘోర తపస్సు కావించినపుడు ఆమెకు తోడ్పడవలెనన్న అభిలాషతో ఈశ్వరునికై తన శక్తిని ప్రయోగింపగ ఈశ్వరుడు కన్ను తెరచి చూసుసరికి అతడు భస్మరాశి అయ్యెను.*

*అటుపైన పార్వతీదేవి తపస్సు ద్వారా ఈశ్వరుని మెప్పించి అతనిని పరిణయమాడినది. పిదప భస్మరాశిగ మిగిలియున్న కాముని అనుగ్రహించి సజీవుని చేసెను. ‘కామ సంజీవ నౌషధిః' అను నామమున ఇది పేర్కొనుట జరిగినది. శ్రీమాతచే సజీవుడైన మన్మథుడు అటుపైన శ్రీదేవి నుండి పంచదశాక్షరి మంత్రమును ఉపదేశముగ పొందినాడు. ఆ మంత్రమును ఉపాసించుచు జీవుల లింగ శరీరముల నధిష్ఠించి సృష్టి కార్యమును నిర్వర్తించు చున్నాడు. కామునిచే నిత్యము శ్రీమాత పూజింప బడుచున్నది. కావున 'కామ పూజిత' అయినది.*

అశ్వఘోషుడు రహదారి కూడలిలో నిలబడి చిత్రలేఖనము చేసెడివాడు. అతని చిత్రములన్నియు సమకాలిక మానవులకు స్ఫూర్తి కలిగించుచుండెడివి. స్ఫూర్తి కలవారే స్ఫూర్తినందివ్వగలరు. అందము నారాధించుట వలన అశ్వఘోషున కట్టి స్ఫూర్తి కలిగినది. ఆట, పాట రంగులు ఆనందము కలిగించనిచో ఆ జీవికి స్ఫూర్తినందు అవకాశము తక్కువ. వాని కొఱకు ప్రత్యేకముగ మీరేర్పరచుకొనిన సినిమా థియేటర్లకు మేము కూడ అప్పుడప్పుడు (టిక్కెట్టు కొని) వచ్చుచుందుము. సినిమాలు దర్శించినపుడు, వాని ఆవశ్యకత జాతికి తగుమాత్రమే అనిపించుచుండును.

🍀. సమాజం హృదయాన్ని నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసింది. మరచిపోయింది. కారణం హృదయం చాలా ప్రమాదకరమైన విషయం. మేదస్సు యంత్రం. యంత్రాలు తిరగబడవు. అవి కేవలం ఆజ్ఞల్ని పాలిస్తాయి. 🍀

సమాజ ప్రయత్నమంతా హృదయానికి వ్యతిరేకమయిందే. అది మెదడుకు శిక్షణ నిస్తుంది. మెదడు క్రమశిక్షణ కలిగిస్తుంది. విద్యాబోధన చేస్తుంది. సమాజం హృదయాన్ని నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసింది. మరచిపోయింది. కారణం హృదయం చాలా ప్రమాదకరమైన విషయం. మేదస్సు యంత్రం. యంత్రాలు తిరగబడవు. అవి కేవలం ఆజ్ఞల్ని పాలిస్తాయి. యంత్రాలు అట్లా చూస్తే మంచివే. అవి చెప్పనట్లు చేస్తాయి.

అందువల్ల రాజ్యం, తల్లిదండ్రులు అందరూ మేథస్సు అంటే యిష్టపడతారు. హృదయం రాజ్యానికి ప్రమాదకరం. సమాజానికి ప్రమాదకరం. స్వార్థాలకు ప్రమాదకరం. మెదడు లాజిక్గా పని చేసేది. దాన్ని ఒప్పించవచ్చు. దాన్ని హిందూగా, కమ్యూనిస్టుగా, ఫాసిస్టుగా, సోషలిస్టుగా ఎలాగైనా మార్చవచ్చు. 'తల'తో ఏ పనయినా చెయ్యవచ్చు. తెలివయిన విద్యా విధానం, మోసపూరిత వ్యూహం వుంటే చాలు. కంప్యూటర్లకు ఫీడ్ చేసినట్టు తలకు చెయ్యవచ్చు. నువ్వు ఫీడ్ చేసింది అది తిరిగి తిరిగి చెబుతూ వుంటుంది. కొత్తది ఒక్కటీ అది ప్రదర్శించలేదు. దానికి ఒరిజినాలిటీ వుండదు.

మనస్సుకు వైవిధ్యం అవసరం, సందేహం లేదు మరియు వైవిధ్యం లేకుండా అది ఉనికిలో ఉండలేదు. ఇది ఎల్లప్పుడూ మార్పును కోరుకుంటుంది. మార్పులేని ఆహారాన్ని మనస్సు మెచ్చుకోదు, కాబట్టి గ్రంధాలు, ప్రత్యేకించి ఇతిహాసాలు, పురాణాలు, ఆగమాలు, తంత్రాలు మొదలైన పెద్ద గ్రంథాలు మనస్సుకు వాటి వైవిధ్యంలో విశాలమైన కదలికను అందించడంతో సంతృప్తి చెంది ఆ వైవిధ్యంలో తీరికగా తిరుగుతుంది. గొప్ప సాధువులు మరియు ఋషుల కథలను చదవడం మరియు అవతారాల వృత్తాంతాల ద్వారా చాలా పులకరించినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది.

🌻 13. The Mind Needs Variety 🌻

The mind needs variety, no doubt, and it cannot exist without variety. It always wants change. Monotonous food will not be appreciated by the mind, and so the scriptures, especially the larger ones like the Epics, the Puranas, the Agamas, the Tantras, etc., provide a large area of movement for the mind wherein it leisurely roams about to its deep satisfaction, finds variety in plenty, reads stories of great saints and sages, and feels very much thrilled by the anecdotes of Incarnations, etc.

But at the same time, with all its variety, we will find that it is a variety with a unity behind it. There is a unity of pattern, structure and aim in the presentation of variety in such scriptures as the Srimad Bhagavata, for instance. There are 18,000 verses giving all kinds of detail—everything about the cosmic creation and the processes of the manifestation of different things in their gross form, subtle form, causal form, etc. Every type of story is found there. It is very interesting to read it. The mind rejoices with delight when going through such a large variety of detail with beautiful comparisons, etc.

శనీశ్వరుడి జయంతిని ఏటా వైశాఖ అమవాస్య తిథినాడు నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ రోజు శనీశ్వరుడిని భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో కొలిచి ఆయన అనుగ్రహం పొందితే కష్టాలు దూరమై.. అదృష్టం కలిసి వస్తుంది.

దేవతల్లో శని దేవుడికి విశిష్టమైన స్థానముంది. ఎందుకంటే శని చెడు ప్రభావం మనమీద పడితే వృత్తి , వ్యక్తిగత జీవితాల్లో ఎన్నో అనర్థాలు జరుగుతాయి. అందుకే శని దేవుడిని నిర్లక్ష్యం చేయరాదు. హిందూ క్యాలెండర్ ప్రకారం వైశాఖ చతుర్దశి అనంతరం వచ్చే అమవాస్య రోజు శని జయంతి జరుపుకుంటారు. వారంలో ఒకరోజు అంటే శనివారం నాడు శనీశ్వరుడు శని గ్రహాన్ని పాలిస్తుంటాడు. సూర్యదేవుడు కుమారుడైన శని.. శనిగ్రహం స్వరూపం.

ఈయనను ఆరాధించడం వల్ల జీవితంలో వచ్చే అట్టంకులు , సమస్యలు తొలగిపోతాయి. అంతేకాకుండా శని దేవుడి ఆశీర్వాదం వల్ల అనుకున్న కోరికలు తీరుతాయి.


🌻. చేయవలసిన పూజలు 🌻

శని జయంతి రోజు భక్తులందరూ గంగాజలం , నూనే , నీరు పరిశుభ్రంగా స్నానమాచరించాలి.

అనంతరం శని విగ్రహానికి 9 రాళ్లుతో చేసిన గొలుసును సమర్పించాలి.

దుష్టశక్తుల నుంచి మనల్ని మనం కాపాడుకోవడానికి శని దేవుడును ప్రసన్నం చేసుకోవాలి. అంటే తేలాభిషేకం చేసి శాంతి పూజలు నిర్వహించాలి.

తాంత్రిక విద్యల ప్రభావం నుంచి రక్షణ కోసం హోమం లేదా యజ్ఞాన్ని జరిపించాలి.

ప్రజలు తమ వేలికి గుర్రపు ఉంగరాన్ని ధరించడం లేదా ఇంటి వెలుపల దాన్ని వేలాడదీయడమో చేయాలి.

అంతేకాకుండా ఈ రోజు చీమలకు బెల్లాన్ని ఆహారంగా ఇవ్వాలి.

శని స్త్రోత్రాన్ని నిత్యం పఠిస్తే భగవంతుడి ఆశీర్వాదాలు పొందుతారు.

నలుపు రంగు వస్తువులను దానం చేస్తే మంచి జరుగుతుంది. అంటే నలుపు వస్త్రాలు , ఆవ నూనే లాంటివి దానం చేయాలి.


🍀. శని దేవుడి ప్రాముఖ్యత 🍀

సూర్య దేవుడి కుమారుడైన శని పుట్టిన రోజు సందర్భంగా శని జయంతిని ఏటా నిర్వహిస్తారు. వైశాఖ మాసంలోని అమావాస్య తిథినాడు ఈ జయంతి వస్తుంది. జ్యోతిష శాస్త్రం ప్రకారం మానవుల జీవితంపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపిస్తాడు శని. అంతేకాకుండా ఈయన శని గ్రహానికి రాజు. జీవితంలో క్లిష్టమైన పరిస్థితులు ఎదుర్కొంటోన్న సమయంలో శని దేవుడికి పూజ చేస్తే మంచి ఫలితాలుంటాయి. ఈ రోజు ఉపవాసం ఉండి శనీశ్వరుడి అనుగ్రహం పొందితే అదృష్టం కలిసి వస్తుంది. ఆ విధంగా శనిని ప్రార్థించడం వల్ల భక్తులను కష్టాలు , బాధల నుండి విముక్తులవుతారు. అంతేకాకుండా దుష్ట , చెడు ప్రభావాల నుంచి ఉపశమనం కలుగుతుంది.


🌹. శని శాంతి మంత్ర స్తుతి 🌹

ప్రతి శనివారం ఈ మంత్రాన్ని పఠిస్తే శని బాధ కలగదు. ఈ మంత్రం వెనుక ఉన్న పురాణ గాథ ఇలా ఉన్నది. నల మహారాజు రాజ్యభ్రష్టుడై బాధపడుతున్నప్పుడు అతనికి శనిదేవుడు కలలో కనిపించి ఈ మంత్రం ఉపదేశించాడు. ఈ మంత్రాన్ని పఠించిన నలమహారాజుకు తిరిగి పూర్వ వైభవం కలిగింది.

క్రోడం నీలాంజన ప్రఖ్యం నీలవర్ణసమస్రజమ్

ఛాయామార్తాండ సంభూతం నమస్యామి శనైశ్చరమ్

నమో అర్కపుత్రాయ శనైశ్చరాయ నీహార

వర్ణాంజనమేచకాయ శ్రుత్వా రహస్యం భవకామదశ్చ

ఫలప్రదో మే భవ సూర్యపుత్రం నమోస్తు ప్రేతరాజాయ

కృష్ణదేహాయ వై నమః శనైశ్చరాయ కౄరాయ

శుద్ధబుద్ధి ప్రదాయనే

య ఏభిర్నామభి: స్తౌతి తస్య తుష్టా భవామ్యహమ్

మదీయం తు భయం తస్య స్వప్నేపి న భవిష్యతి

నవగ్రహాల్లో శని దోషం ఎక్కువ అపకారం కలిగిస్తుంది. శని దోషం నుండి బయటపడేందుకు పైన ఉదహరించిన ''క్రోడం నీలాంజన ప్రఖ్యం..'' అనే శ్లోకాన్ని 11 సార్లు జపించి, తర్వాత కింది శ్లోకాన్ని 11 సార్లు జపించాలి.

శనిపూజాంచ కారయేత్

శనిధ్యానం ప్రవక్ష్యామి

ప్రాణి పీడోపశాంతయే


ఈ రెండు శ్లోకాలను స్మరించడంతో బాటు , నవగ్రహాలకు తైలాభిషేకం చేయాలి.

ఇలా చేయడంవల్ల శని దోష బాధితులకు వెంటనే సత్ఫలితం కనిపిస్తుంది.

ఈ ఏడాది శని జయంతి 30 మే 2022, సోమవారం వచ్చింది. శుభ సమయం మే 29 ఆదివారం మధ్యాహ్నం 2:54 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. మే 30వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 4:59 వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది. ఈసారి అయితే ఉదయమే తిథి రావడంతో మే 30న శని జయంతి జరుపుకోనున్నారు. శనిదేవుని అనుగ్రహం పొందడానికి ఈ రోజు చాలా పవిత్రమైనదిగా పరిగణించబడుతుంది

ఈయనను ఆరాధించడం వల్ల జీవితంలో వచ్చే అట్టంకులు , సమస్యలు తొలగిపోతాయి. అంతేకాకుండా శని దేవుడి ఆశీర్వాదం వల్ల అనుకున్న కోరికలు తీరుతాయి.

*🌻. చేయవలసిన పూజలు 🌻*

శని జయంతి రోజు భక్తులందరూ గంగాజలం , నూనే , నీరు పరిశుభ్రంగా స్నానమాచరించాలి.

అనంతరం శని విగ్రహానికి 9 రాళ్లుతో చేసిన గొలుసును సమర్పించాలి.

దుష్టశక్తుల నుంచి మనల్ని మనం కాపాడుకోవడానికి శని దేవుడును ప్రసన్నం చేసుకోవాలి. అంటే తేలాభిషేకం చేసి శాంతి పూజలు నిర్వహించాలి.

తాంత్రిక విద్యల ప్రభావం నుంచి రక్షణ కోసం హోమం లేదా యజ్ఞాన్ని జరిపించాలి.

ప్రజలు తమ వేలికి గుర్రపు ఉంగరాన్ని ధరించడం లేదా ఇంటి వెలుపల దాన్ని వేలాడదీయడమో చేయాలి.

అంతేకాకుండా ఈ రోజు చీమలకు బెల్లాన్ని ఆహారంగా ఇవ్వాలి.

శని స్త్రోత్రాన్ని నిత్యం పఠిస్తే భగవంతుడి ఆశీర్వాదాలు పొందుతారు.

నలుపు రంగు వస్తువులను దానం చేస్తే మంచి జరుగుతుంది. అంటే నలుపు వస్త్రాలు , ఆవ నూనే లాంటివి దానం చేయాలి.

*🍀. శని దేవుడి ప్రాముఖ్యత 🍀*

సూర్య దేవుడి కుమారుడైన శని పుట్టిన రోజు సందర్భంగా శని జయంతిని ఏటా నిర్వహిస్తారు. వైశాఖ మాసంలోని అమావాస్య తిథినాడు ఈ జయంతి వస్తుంది. జ్యోతిష శాస్త్రం ప్రకారం మానవుల జీవితంపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపిస్తాడు శని. అంతేకాకుండా ఈయన శని గ్రహానికి రాజు. జీవితంలో క్లిష్టమైన పరిస్థితులు ఎదుర్కొంటోన్న సమయంలో శని దేవుడికి పూజ చేస్తే మంచి ఫలితాలుంటాయి. ఈ రోజు ఉపవాసం ఉండి శనీశ్వరుడి అనుగ్రహం పొందితే అదృష్టం కలిసి వస్తుంది. ఆ విధంగా శనిని ప్రార్థించడం వల్ల భక్తులను కష్టాలు , బాధల నుండి విముక్తులవుతారు. అంతేకాకుండా దుష్ట , చెడు ప్రభావాల నుంచి ఉపశమనం కలుగుతుంది.

*🌹. శని శాంతి మంత్ర స్తుతి 🌹*

ప్రతి శనివారం ఈ మంత్రాన్ని పఠిస్తే శని బాధ కలగదు. ఈ మంత్రం వెనుక ఉన్న పురాణ గాథ ఇలా ఉన్నది. నల మహారాజు రాజ్యభ్రష్టుడై బాధపడుతున్నప్పుడు అతనికి శనిదేవుడు కలలో కనిపించి ఈ మంత్రం ఉపదేశించాడు. ఈ మంత్రాన్ని పఠించిన నలమహారాజుకు తిరిగి పూర్వ వైభవం కలిగింది.

 

క్రోడం నీలాంజన ప్రఖ్యం నీలవర్ణసమస్రజమ్

ఛాయామార్తాండ సంభూతం నమస్యామి శనైశ్చరమ్

నమో అర్కపుత్రాయ శనైశ్చరాయ నీహార

వర్ణాంజనమేచకాయ శ్రుత్వా రహస్యం భవకామదశ్చ

ఫలప్రదో మే భవ సూర్యపుత్రం నమోస్తు ప్రేతరాజాయ

కృష్ణదేహాయ వై నమః శనైశ్చరాయ కౄరాయ

శుద్ధబుద్ధి ప్రదాయనే

య ఏభిర్నామభి: స్తౌతి తస్య తుష్టా భవామ్యహమ్

మదీయం తు భయం తస్య స్వప్నేపి న భవిష్యతి

 

నవగ్రహాల్లో శని దోషం ఎక్కువ అపకారం కలిగిస్తుంది. శని దోషం నుండి బయటపడేందుకు పైన ఉదహరించిన ''క్రోడం నీలాంజన ప్రఖ్యం..'' అనే శ్లోకాన్ని 11 సార్లు జపించి, తర్వాత కింది శ్లోకాన్ని 11 సార్లు జపించాలి.

 

శన్యారిష్టే తు సంప్రాప్తే

శనిపూజాంచ కారయేత్

శనిధ్యానం ప్రవక్ష్యామి

ప్రాణి పీడోపశాంతయే

 

ఈ రెండు శ్లోకాలను స్మరించడంతో బాటు , నవగ్రహాలకు తైలాభిషేకం చేయాలి.

ఇలా చేయడంవల్ల శని దోష బాధితులకు వెంటనే సత్ఫలితం కనిపిస్తుంది.

ఈ ఏడాది శని జయంతి 30 మే 2022, సోమవారం వచ్చింది. శుభ సమయం మే 29 ఆదివారం మధ్యాహ్నం 2:54 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. మే 30వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 4:59 వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది. ఈసారి అయితే ఉదయమే తిథి రావడంతో మే 30న శని జయంతి జరుపుకోనున్నారు. శనిదేవుని అనుగ్రహం పొందడానికి ఈ రోజు చాలా పవిత్రమైనదిగా పరిగణించబడుతుంది

జీవితపు చరమలక్ష్యమును కనుగొనుటయే తత్త్వపరిశోధనల ముఖ్యప్రయోజనమై యున్నది. జీవిత ముఖ్యలక్ష్యము ఆత్మానుభవమైనందున ఈ రెండుమార్గముల యందలి నిర్ణయములందు ఎట్టి భేదము లేదు. సాంఖ్యతత్త్వ పరిశోధన ద్వారా జీవుడు భౌతికజగత్తుయొక్క అంశ కాదనియు, పూర్ణుడైన పరమాత్ముని అంశమేననియు మనుజుడు నిర్ధారణకు వచ్చును. శుద్ధాత్మకు భౌతికజగత్తుతో సంబంధము లేదనియు మరియు దాని కర్మలన్నియును కృష్ణపరములుగా నుండవలెననియు అంతట మనుజుడు తెలిసికొనగలుగును. అట్టి భావనలో అతడు కర్మనొనరించినచో తన నిజస్థితి యందు నిలిచినవాడే కాగలడు. 

మొదటి పద్ధతియైన సాంఖ్యములో మనుజుడు భౌతికపదార్థము నుండి విడివడవలసియుండగా, రెండవ పద్ధతియైన భక్తియోగమునందు కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావితకర్మల యందు సంపూర్ణముగా మగ్నుడు కావలసియుండును. బాహ్యమునాకు ఒకదాని యందు అసంగత్వము ఇంకొక దాని యందు సంగత్వము గోచరించినను వాస్తవమునకు రెండు పద్ధతులు ఏకమే అయియున్నవి. భౌతికత్వము నుండి విముక్తి మరియు కృష్ణుని యెడ అనురక్తి ఏకమేననెడి విషయమును గాంచగలిగినవాడు యథార్థదృష్టిని పొందగలడు.

*One who knows that the position reached by means of analytical study can also be attained by devotional service, and who therefore sees analytical study and devotional service to be on the same level, sees things as they are.*

🌹 Purport :

The real purpose of philosophical research is to find the ultimate goal of life. Since the ultimate goal of life is self-realization, there is no difference between the conclusions reached by the two processes. By Sāṅkhya philosophical research one comes to the conclusion that a living entity is not a part and parcel of the material world but of the supreme spirit whole. Consequently, the spirit soul has nothing to do with the material world; his actions must be in some relation with the Supreme. 

When he acts in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he is actually in his constitutional position. In the first process, Sāṅkhya, one has to become detached from matter, and in the devotional yoga process one has to attach himself to the work of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Factually, both processes are the same, although superficially one process appears to involve detachment and the other process appears to involve attachment. Detachment from matter and attachment to Kṛṣṇa are one and the same. One who can see this sees things as they are.

There is a unity of pattern, structure and aim in the presentation of variety in such scriptures as the Srimad Bhagavata, for instance. *అందువల్ల రాజ్యం, తల్లిదండ్రులు అందరూ మేథస్సు అంటే యిష్టపడతారు. హృదయం రాజ్యానికి ప్రమాదకరం. సమాజానికి ప్రమాదకరం. స్వార్థాలకు ప్రమాదకరం. మెదడు లాజిక్గా పని చేసేది. దాన్ని ఒప్పించవచ్చు. దాన్ని హిందూగా, కమ్యూనిస్టుగా, ఫాసిస్టుగా, సోషలిస్టుగా ఎలాగైనా మార్చవచ్చు. 'తల'తో ఏ పనయినా చెయ్యవచ్చు. తెలివయిన విద్యా విధానం, మోసపూరిత వ్యూహం వుంటే చాలు. కంప్యూటర్లకు ఫీడ్ చేసినట్టు తలకు చెయ్యవచ్చు. నువ్వు ఫీడ్ చేసింది అది తిరిగి తిరిగి చెబుతూ వుంటుంది. కొత్తది ఒక్కటీ అది ప్రదర్శించలేదు. దానికి ఒరిజినాలిటీ వుండదు.*

*యోగసాధన యందు తీవ్ర తపన కలవానిని 'అవకరుడు' అని బోధించెదము. అవకరమనగా వంకరయని అర్థము కాదు. కృత యుగమున శ్రీమాత జ్ఞాన స్వరూపిణిగ పరిపూర్ణముగ దర్శనమిచ్చు చుండెడిది. అటు తరువాత యుగములలో జ్ఞానము అజ్ఞానముచే కప్పబడుటచే దైవమున్నాడన్న భావము కూడ ప్రస్తుతము మృగ్యమై యున్నది. అజ్ఞానము వలన అహంకారమునబడిన జీవులు శ్రీమాత ఆరాధనము ద్వారా మరల క్రమముగ జ్ఞానమును పొందగలరు.

శ్రీమాత జీవులందరిని సూర్యుడు, చంద్రుడు, యముడు, కాలము, పంచ మహాభూతముల రూపమున గమనించు చుండునట. పై తెలిపిన తొమ్మిది మందిని లోక సాక్షులుగ పేర్కొందురు. ఈ లోక సాక్షుల ద్వారా జీవులు చేయుచున్న పాప పుణ్యములను గమనించుచు తదనుగుణమైన ఫలముల నిచ్చుచుండును. ఉపకారము చేయువారికి ఉపకారము చేయును. అపకారము చేయువారికి అపకారము చేయును. అపకారము చేసిననూ, ఉపకారము చేయువారిని అనుగ్రహించును. అనగా విశేషముగ ఉపకారము చేయును. ఇట్లు 'కృతజ్ఞ' అను శ్రీమాత నామమునకు వివిధములగు భాష్యము లున్నవి.

It is also said that ādhyātimka and ādhidaivika together represent the universe and hence is known as Virāt (the Supreme Intellect located in a supposed aggregate of gross bodies). Living beings are known as ādhibautika.

In terms of Cāndogya Upaniṣahad (IV.i.4) Kṛtajñā means a person who includes within himself all the good things that other people do. He is the sum total of all good things in the world.

🌻. శివ పార్వతుల కైలాసగమనము - 2 🌻

పార్వతి యందు దృఢమగు ప్రేమగల ఆమె తల్లి, అక్క చెల్లెళ్లు, ఇతరస్త్రీలు, సోదరులు, మరియు తండ్రి ప్రేమచే రోదించిరి (11). అపుడు బ్రాహ్మణులు వచ్చి ఆదరముతో నచ్చజెప్పి సుఖకరము, శ్రేష్ఠము అగు యాత్రాలగ్నము సమీపించినదని విన్నవించిరి (12).

అపుడు వివేకి యగు హిమవంతుడు మేనకు ధైర్యమును చెప్పి పార్వతి అధిరోహించుటకై పల్లకిని రప్పించెను (13). అచట నున్న బ్రాహ్మణస్త్రీలు ఆ పార్వతిని పల్లకిలో కూర్చుండబెట్టిరి. అపుడు తల్లిదండ్రులు, సర్వస్త్రీలు, బ్రాహ్మణులు ఆశీర్వదించరి (14). మేనా హిమవంతులు మహారాణికి తగిన ఉపచారములను, ఇతరులకు దుర్లభమగు శుభకరమగు అనేక ద్రవ్యములను ఆమెకు ఇచ్చిరి (15).

ఓ మునీ! పార్వతి గురువులను, తండ్రిని, తల్లిని, బ్రాహ్మణులను, పురోహితుని, అక్కచెల్లెళ్లను, ఇతరస్త్రీలను నమస్కరించి వెళ్లెను (16). వివేకి యగు హిమవంతుడు కూడా ప్రేమకు వశుడై కుమారులతో గూడి, శివుడు దేవతలతో బాటు ఉన్నచోటకు వచ్చి వారందరికీ ఆనందమును కలిగించెను (17). వారందరు మహోత్సాహముతో పరస్పరము కలుసుకొనిరి. అపుడు వారు భక్తితో శివునకు నమస్కరించి ఆయనను ప్రశంసిస్తూ, నగరమునకు తిరిగి వచ్చిరి (18). 'పూర్వ జన్మస్మృతి గల నీకు గుర్తు చేయుచున్నాను. నీవు నన్ను నిత్యము స్మరించి యున్న పక్షములో చెప్పుము. ఓదేవ దేవీ! నేను నిన్ను పొందుట ఒక లీల. నీవు నాకు సర్వదా ప్రాణ ప్రియురాలవు' (19).

11. Her mother, sister, brothers, father and the other ladies who were affectionately attached to her cried frequently.

12. Then the brahmins respectfully intimated to them the auspicious hour for the starting of the journey and consoled them.

13. Then Himavat and Menā composed themselves and caused the palanquin to be brought for Pārvatī to get in.

14. The brahmin ladies helped her to get into the palanquin. They gave their blessings. Her parents and the brahmins too offered their blessings.

15. Menā and the lord of mountains gave her a royal send-off with various auspicious rare presents not accessible to common people.

16. O sage, Pārvatī started after bowing to the preceptors, elders, father, mother, the brahmins, the chief priest, sisters and the other women.

17. Himavat, the sensible affectionate father with his sons accompanied her as far as the place where the lord was waiting joyously along with the gods.

18. Everyone was jubilant and jolly with love. They bowed to the lord with devotion. Praising Him they returned to Kailāsa.

19. Then Śiva told Pārvatī—“I am reminding you although you know the previous birth. If you remember, speak out. In my divine sport you are always my beloved.”

🌻. పునః జగత్సర్గ వర్ణనము - 2 🌻

పులస్త్యుని భార్యయైన ప్రీతికి దత్తోలియను కుమారుడు పట్టెను. క్షమకు పులహుని వలన సహిష్ణువు, క్రముడు, పాదికుడు అను పుత్రులు జనించిరి.

క్రతువునకు సన్నతియందు గొప్ప తేజస్సు గలవారును, బొటన వేలు కణుపు ప్రమాణము కలవారును. అగు ఆరవైవేలమంది వాలఖిల్యులు పుట్టిరి.

వసిష్ఠుని వలన ఉర్జయందు రాజు, గా తుడు, ఊర్ధ్వబాహుడు సవనుడు, అలఘుడు, శక్రుడు, సుతపుడు అను ఏడుగురు బుషులు జనించిరి. స్వాహా - అగ్నులకు పావకుడు, పవమానుడు, శుచి అను కుమారులు పుట్టిరి. అజునినుండి అగ్నిష్వాత్తుడు, బర్హిషత్‌, అనగ్ని, నాగ్ని అను కుమరులు జనించిరి. పితృదేవతలకు స్వధయందు మేన, వైధారిణి అను కుమార్తెలు పట్టిరి. అధర్ముని భార్య హింస. వారిరువురికిని అనృతము పుట్టెను.

అధర్మహింసలకు నికృతి అను కన్యయు పుట్టినది. ఈ అనృతము నికృతియు మిథునమయ్యెను. వారివలన భయము, నరకము పుట్టెను వారికి వరసగా మాయయు, వేదనయు భార్యలైరి. వారిలో మాయ భూతములను నశింపచేయు మృత్యువును కనెను. వేదన నరకము వలన దుఃఖమనే కుమారుని కనెను.

మృత్యువునకు వ్యాధి, జర శోకము, తృష్ణ, క్రోధము సంతానముగా జనించిరి బ్రహ్మదేవుని నుంచి రోదించుచు (ఏడ్చుచు) పుట్టుటచే రుద్రుడను పేరు గల కుమారుడు పెట్టెను. ఆనతికే పితామహుడు --భవుడు, శర్వుడు, ఈశానుడు, పశుపతి, భీముడు, ఉగ్రుడు, మహాదేవడు అను పేర్లు పెట్టెను.

ఆతని భార్యయైన సతీదేవి దక్షునిపై కోపముచే దేహము విడచి, హిమవంతుని కుమార్తెగా జనించి మరల ఆతని (రుద్రుని) భార్య ఆయెను.

స్వాయంభువాదులు నారదాదులచ బుషులకు చెప్పబడినవియు, భుక్తి ముక్తి ప్రదములను అగు విష్ణ్వాదులకు చేయదగిని స్నానాది పూజలను చేసి (చరితార్థులైరి)

అగ్ని మహాపురాణము నందు జగత్సర్గవర్ణన మను ఇరువదవ అధ్యాయము సమాప్తము.

🌻 Primary creation - 2 🌻


13. A son (by name) Dattoli was born to Prīti, the wife of Pulastya. Sahiṣṇu and Kramapādika[4] were born to Kṣamā from Pulaha.

14. The highly radiant Bālakhilyas were born to Sannati[5] from Kratu. They, who were 60000, were of the size of a joint of the thumb.

15. To Urjā from Vasiṣṭha (were born) Raja, Gātra, Urdhvabāhu, Savana, Alaghu[6], Śukra and Sutapāḥ [=Sutapas?], the seven sages.

16. Pāvaka, Pavamāna and Śuci were born of Agni and. Svāhā. The manes Agniṣvāttāḥ [=Agniṣvāttas?]), devoid of fire and Barhiṣada, with fire (were born) from aja (Brahmā, the unborn).

17. Menā and Dhāriṇī were the daughters of the manes through Svadhā. Hiṃsā was the wife of Adharma. Then. Anṛta was born to them.

18. Nikṛti (was their) daughter. Bhaya and Naraka (were. born) from them, who had Māyā and Vedanā as their wives.

19. Of those two, Māyā gave birth to Mṛtyu, the destroyer of living beings. And also Vedanā gave birth to a son Duḥkha. from Raurava (Naraka).

20. Vyādhi, Jarā, Śoka, Tṛṣṇā and Krodha were born from Mṛtyu. (Rudra) was born wailing from Brahmā and (was known as) Rudra by name on account of the wailing.

21. O twice-born! the grandfather (Brahmā) said to (him) (called him as) Bhava, Śarva, Īśāna, Paśupati, Bhīma, Ugra (and) Mahādeva.

22. His wife Satī gave up her life on account of the wrath of Dakṣa and having become the daughter of Himavat again became the wife of Śambhu (Siva):

23. (I will now describe) the methods of worship of Viṣṇu etc., preceded by bathing and other (rites) and yielding enjoyment and emancipation, by doing which Svāyambhuva (Manu) (had the benefit), as told by Nārada and others to the sages.
