*MEANING : After leaving this body, the man who maintained himself and his family members by sinful activities suffers a hellish life, and his relatives suffer also.*
*PURPORT : The mistake of modern civilization is that man does not believe in the next life. But whether he believes or not, the next life is there, and one has to suffer if one does not lead a responsible life in terms of the injunctions of authoritative scriptures like the Vedas and purāṇas. Species lower than human beings are not responsible for their actions because they are made to act in a certain way, but in the developed life of human consciousness, if one is not responsible for his activities, then he is sure to get a hellish life, as described herein.*

*While many thousands of men are witnessing that right-minded Rama the legatee of Raghu stringed the bow effortlessly. (Further, that dextrous one stringed that bow with bowstring and started to stretch it up to his ear to examine its tautness, but that glorious one who is foremost among men, Rāma, broke that bow medially. Then there bechanced an explosive explosion when the bow is broken, like the explosiveness of down plunging thunder, and the earth is tremulously tremulous, as it happens when a mountain is exploding.)*

*మనస్తత్వవేత్తలకు, వాస్తవికత అంటే సామాజిక ప్రపంచం. వారికి, మనం బయటి ప్రపంచంతో అనుగుణంగా ఉండాలి. వారికి 'ప్రపంచం' అంటే మానవజాతి మాత్రమే. మనకు ఖగోళ ప్రపంచంతో సంబంధం లేదు కాబట్టి మానవుల ప్రపంచాన్ని వారికి సంబంధించినంతవరకు ప్రపంచం అంటారు. మానవ సమాజ ప్రపంచాన్ని వాస్తవికతగా పరిగణించవలసి వస్తే, దానితో మన మనస్సు సామరస్యంగా ఉంటే మనం ఆనందంగా ఉండాలి. కానీ అలా కాదని మనం మన మునుపటి చర్చలో చూశాము. సమాజంలో మంచి స్థితిలో ఉన్న వ్యక్తులు కూడా ఎప్పుడూ సంతోషంగా ఉండరు.*
*ఇది వారు అర్థం చేసుకోలేని, వివరించలేని ఒక నిగూఢ సమస్య. ఒక వ్యక్తి జీవితంలో ప్రతిదీ కలిగి ఉన్నప్పటికీ, అసంతృప్తిగా ఎందుకు ఉంటారో యోగ శాస్త్రం అధ్యయనం చేసింది. మనం ప్రపంచం మొత్తానికి రాజు కావచ్చు, కానీ మనం ఖచ్చితంగా సంతోషంగా ఉంటామని లేదు. మనకు ఇంకా చాలా సమస్యలు ఉంటాయి. ఈ ప్రపంచానికి ఆవల ఉన్నది ఏమిటి? దాన్ని మనం ఎందుకు జయించకూడదు? మనకు ఆశయాలు ఉండవచ్చు. ఈ లోకానికి మనం రాజులమైనా కోరికలను అధిగమించలేము. ఈ లోకాన్ని విడిచి వెళ్ళే సమయం వచ్చినప్పుడు మరణం తప్పక మన దగ్గరకు వస్తుంది.*

*For psychologists, reality means the social world. For them, we must be in tune with the world outside. For them ‘world’ means mankind. The world of human beings is called the world as far as they are concerned, because we are not concerned with the astronomical world. If the world of human society has to be regarded as the reality, then the attunement of our minds with it should assure our happiness. But we saw in our earlier discussion that this is not the case. People who are well off in society are not always found to be happy.*
*They have a secret problem which they cannot understand or much less explain. Yoga began to contemplate the mysteries behind the phenomenon of unhappiness persisting in spite of one’s having everything in life. We may be the king of the whole world, yet it is still doubtful if we are going to be happy, and we will still have many problems. What is above this world? Why not conquer that? May be we have ambitions. Desires cannot be overcome even if we were the kings of this world. Death will come to us when it is time to leave this world.*

Normally, great sages and saints are directed to guide such an aspirant to the level of Śaktī who finally takes him to Śiva for final emancipation. This aphorism says that Self-realization is possible, only if one is able to develop the highest level of spiritual intellect. In other words, when his mind is totally cleansed from sensory addictions, he is able to reach logical spiritual goal of complete attainment, where he realizes Śiva in His true nature of Self-illumination.*
