*తాత్పర్యము : అమ్మా! యోగసాధన పరిపక్వదశకు చేరినప్పుడు ఆ యోగిముందు మాయామయములగు అణిమాది అష్టసిద్ధులు ప్రకటమగును. నాయందు అనన్యభక్తి కలిగి యుండుట వలన అతడు వాటి యందు ఆసక్తుడు గాకుండును. అట్టి అనన్యభక్తి ప్రభావము వలన అతడు అత్యంతిక పరమపదమును పొందును. అతనికి ఇక మృత్యు భయము ఏ మాత్రము ఉండదు.*

*ananya-hetuṣv atha me gatiḥ syād ātyantikī yatra na mṛtyu-hāsaḥ*
*MEANING : When a perfect yogī's attention is no longer attracted to the by-products of mystic powers, which are manifestations of the external energy, his progress towards Me becomes unlimited, and thus the power of death cannot overcome him.*
*PURPORT : Yogīs are generally attracted to the by-products of mystic yogic power, for they can become smaller than the smallest or greater than the greatest, achieve anything they desire, have power even to create a planet, or bring anyone they like under their subjection. Yogīs who have incomplete information of the result of devotional service are attracted by these powers, but these powers are material; they have nothing to do with spiritual progress. As other material powers are created by the material energy, mystic yogic powers are also material. A perfect yogī's mind is not attracted by any material power, but is simply attracted by unalloyed service to the Supreme Lord. For a devotee, the process of merging into the Brahman effulgence is considered to be hellish, and yogic power or the preliminary perfection of yogic power, to be able to control the senses, is automatically achieved. As for elevation to higher planets, a devotee considers this to be simply hallucinatory. A devotee's attention is concentrated only upon the eternal loving service of the Lord, and therefore the power of death has no influence over him. In such a devotional state, a perfect yogī can attain the status of immortal knowledge and bliss.*

ఓ యతీ! త్రిపుర నివాసుల వినాశము కొరకు నీవు బయలు దేరుము. వారికి ఈ తమోగుణ ప్రధానమగు ధర్మమును నేర్పి త్రిపురములను నశింపజేయుము (19).
ఓ యతీ! ఆ తరువాత నీవు ఎడారి ప్రాంతమునకు వెళ్లి అచట నీ ధర్మమును పాటిస్తూ కలికాలము ఆరంభమగు వరకు నివసించి యండవలెను (20). కలియుగము ఆరంభము కాగానే నీవు శిష్యుల ద్వారా, ప్రశిష్యుల ద్వారా నీ ధర్మమును ప్రచారము చేయవలెను. ఆ ధర్మమును నీవు పాటించుచుండవలెను (21). నా ఆజ్ఞచే నీధర్మము నిశ్చయముగా వ్యాప్తిని చెందగలదు. నీవు నిత్యము నా ఆజ్ఞను పాలిస్తూ నా సాయుజ్యమును పొందగలవు (22).
సర్వసమర్థుడగు విష్ణువు దేవ దేవుడగు శివుని ఆజ్ఞను మనస్సులో పొంది ఆతనికి ఈ విధముగా ఆజ్ఞాపించి అంతర్ధానమాయెను (23). అపుడా యతి విష్ణువు యొక్క ఆజ్ఞను పాలించి ఆ విధముగనే శిష్యులను నిర్మాణము చేసెను. సమర్థుడగు ఆ యతి అపుడు వారిచే మాయా ప్రధానమగు శాస్త్రమును యథాతథముగా స్వయముగా పఠింపజేసెను (24). ఆ యతి మరియు ఆయన వలెనే శిరో ముండనముతో నున్న ఆ నల్గురు శిష్యులు పాపహారి, పరమాత్మయగు విష్ణువునకు నమస్కరించి ఆయన యెదుట నిలబడిరి (25).
ఓ మహర్షీ! పాపహారి, శివుని ఆజ్ఞను పరిపాలించువాడు అగు విష్ణువు మిక్కిలి సంతసించి ఆ నల్గురు శిష్యులతో నిట్లనెను (26). మీరు మీ గురువు చేసినట్లు చేయుడు. నా ఆజ్ఞను పాలించుడు. సద్గతిని పొంది మీరు ధన్యులు కాగలరు. సందేహము లేదు (27). వారు నల్గురు ముండిత శిరస్కులై ఆపధర్మము నాశ్రయించి చేతిలో పాత్రను పట్టుకొని, నోటిపై గుడ్డతో కట్టుకొని యుండిరి (28). వారు మలిన వస్త్రములను ధరించి యున్నారు. తాము పాటించు ధర్మము ననుసరించినచో పరమతత్త్వము చేజిక్కునని మహానందముతో ప్రకటించుచున్నారు. ఇతర విషయములను మాటలాడుట లేదు (29).

20. After that, O great one, you shall go to the desert region and stay there carrying on your own duties and activities till the advent of the Kali age.
21. When the Kali age begins let your Dharma be revealed. You shall then continue to do so by means of disciples and disciples’ disciples.
22. At my bidding your cult shall certainly expand. Depending upon my permission and direction you will attain me as your goal.”
23. At the bidding of the lord Śiva transmitted through the thought process, Viṣṇu, the powerful, commanded him thus and vanished.
24. Then the ascetic of shaven head acting in accordance with Viṣṇu’s behest created four disciples of the like form as himself and taught them the deceptive cult.
25. The four disciples had shaven heads and were of auspicious features. They bowed to Viṣṇu, the great soul and stood waiting.
26. O sage, the delighted Viṣṇu too, who carries out the behests of Śiva spoke to those four disciples.
27. “Just as your preceptor you too will become blessed at my bidding. There is no doubt in this that you will attain good goal.
28. The four disciples with shaven heads followed the heretic cult. They had the wicker vessel in their hands. They covered their mouths with a piece of cloth.
29. They habitually wore dirty clothes. They did not talk much. Delightedly they used to speak “Dharma is the great gain, the true essence” and some similar words.

*Sushumna Marga is the way to use yoga for ascent and descent. At the end of this path is the muladhara chakra. The serpentine consciousness resides in it. Like a snake resides in its abode, this serpentine consciousness resides at the muladhara. This consciousness is awakened in those who live with devotion. In others it is dormant. It is glorified by this name that Sri Mata resides and is resting in muladhara. It is symbolised that in the state of vigilance, three serpentine coils unwind with open hood, and in the state of samadhi, all seven coils unwind, with its hood open and standing on its tail. The source of "resting" in creation is Kundalini. That is kulakunda. Srimata resides here and hence is called Kula Kundalaya.*
