*యోగాభ్యాసము ద్వారా యోగి తన మనోకర్మలనన్నింటిని నియమించి, విషయకోరికల రహితమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికస్థితి యందు నిలిచినప్పుడు యోగమునందు స్థిరుడైనట్లుగా చెప్పబడును.*
🌷. భాష్యము :
సమస్తమగు విషయకోరికల నుండి (వాటిలో ముఖ్యమైనది మైథునసుఖము) విరమణ పొందియుండుటనెడి విషయము ద్వారా యోగికర్మలను సాధారణజనుల కర్మల నుండి వేరుపరుపవచ్చును. తన మనోకర్మలను చక్కగా నియమించిన సంపూర్ణయోగి ఏ విధమైన విషయకోరికల చేతను కలతకు గురికాడు. శ్రీమద్భాగవతము (9.4.18-20) తెలుపబడినట్లు అట్టి పూర్ణత్వస్థితి కృష్ణభక్తిభావన యందున్నవారిచే అప్రయత్నముగా పొందబడును.
“మహారాజు అంబరీషుడు తన మనస్సును శ్రీకృష్ణుని చరణకమలముల చెంత నియుక్తము చేసెను. అతడు తన పలుకులను ఆ దేవదేవుని దివ్యగుణములను వర్ణించుట యందును, తన హస్తములను శ్రీహరి మందిరములను శుభ్రము చేయుట యందును, తన కర్ణములను అచ్యుతిని కర్మలను శ్రవణము చేయుట యందును, తన చక్షువులను ముకుందుని దివ్యరూపములను వీక్షించు యందును, తన దేహమును భక్తుల దేహములను స్పృశించుట యందును, తన నాసికను శ్రీకృష్ణభాగావానునికిని అర్పింపబడిన కలువపూలను వాసన చూచుట యందును, తన జిహ్వను ఆ భగవానుని చరణకమలములకు అర్పించిన తులసీదళములను రుచిచూచుట యందును, తన పాదములను శ్రీహరి తీర్థస్థలములకు మరియు మందిరములకు పోవుట యందును, తన శిరమును హృషీకేశునికి వందనమొనర్చుట యందును, తన కోరికలను ఉత్తమశ్లోకుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని కార్యములను నిర్వహించుట యందును నియోగించును. అతని ఈ దివ్యకార్యములన్నియును శుద్ధభక్తులకు తగినవై యున్నవి.”
నిరాకారమార్గమును అవలంబించువారికి ఇట్టి ఆధ్యాత్మికస్థితి అనిర్వచనీయము, ఊహాతీతమైనను కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో నున్నవారికి సులభము మరియు ఆచరణీయమై యున్నది. ఈ విషయము పైన వర్ణింపబడిన అంబరీషుని కార్యముల ద్వారా విదితమగుచున్నది. నిత్యస్మరణము ద్వారా శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని చరణకమలముల చెంత మనస్సు లగ్నము కానిదే అట్టి ఆధ్యాత్మిక కర్మలు ఆచరణీయములు కాజాలవు.

*When the yogī, by practice of yoga, disciplines his mental activities and becomes situated in transcendence – devoid of all material desires – he is said to be well established in yoga.*
🌹 Purport :
The activities of the yogī are distinguished from those of an ordinary person by his characteristic cessation from all kinds of material desires – of which sex is the chief. A perfect yogī is so well disciplined in the activities of the mind that he can no longer be disturbed by any kind of material desire. This perfectional stage can automatically be attained by persons in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, as stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (9.4.18–20):
“King Ambarīṣa first of all engaged his mind on the lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa; then, one after another, he engaged his words in describing the transcendental qualities of the Lord, his hands in mopping the temple of the Lord, his ears in hearing of the activities of the Lord, his eyes in seeing the transcendental forms of the Lord, his body in touching the bodies of the devotees, his sense of smell in smelling the scents of the lotus flowers offered to the Lord, his tongue in tasting the tulasī leaf offered at the lotus feet of the Lord, his legs in going to places of pilgrimage and the temple of the Lord, his head in offering obeisances unto the Lord, and his desires in executing the mission of the Lord. All these transcendental activities are quite befitting a pure devotee.”

*You are perfectly right in saying that you would like to know yourself. Scientists, philosophers, ecologists, politicians, sociologists, whoever they are, make the fundamental mistake of thinking that they are outside the universe, that they can handle it, and harness it as if it is a bull, or a horse, or an elephant—not knowing that they are included in that which they seek. You cannot know the environment, unless you know yourself first. Why should people have such problems, but for the fact that they have misconstrued the whole structure of the environment, which includes themselves, as if the environment is outside?*
*We always think that the environment is sticking to us, like a shawl or a blanket, but, it is not so. The environment is not a blanket which we can throw it away. It is rather like skin; you cannot remove the skin. The environment is your skin itself, so when you handle it, you are handling yourself. Yet, no politician will understand this point because he is selfish, and is concerned with a little temporary gain, and not thinking of the future in the spirit of a statesman.*

*It is very difficult to understand the theory of karma, because it has to be experienced. Our karma decides our directions in life and we face the results of actions we did in our past. However, one cannot understand the reason behind every situation. Our life is an infinite chain of the complex results of our karma, or past actions. We can get the results of any action at any point of time.*
*All the deeds that we have done in our lifetime are stored in our subconscious mind at the time of death, and accordingly, our karma balance sheet is prepared. On the basis of this balance sheet, three things are determined —*
*❥ the type of body we will get,*
*❥ our lifespan and*
*❥ destiny based on our prarabdha karma, fruits of past action that we have accumulated.*
*A large part of our prarabdha is, therefore, predetermined at birth, and our actions in the new birth lay the foundation for our future prarabdha. But we should not totally depend on prarabdha. Whenever we confront anything good or bad, we have to deal with it carefully.*
*At the time of action, if we attach a sense of good or bad, it leads to new karmas, instead of exhausting itself and getting destroyed in the process. When we do our actions with attachment and ego, it leaves its impression in the form of samskara. A new karma forms when we attempt any action with the notion of karta bhava, doership.*
*❀ Actions done as nishkama karma, selfless or desireless actions do not form any fruit. But Karma done with this bhava will help you cleanse the mind till you finally touch base with your real Self. ❀*
