21. తితిక్షవః కారుణికాః సుహృదః సర్వదేహినామ్
అజాతశత్రవః శాన్తాః సాధవః సాధుభూషణాః

తితిక్షవః - ఓర్పు, క్షమ. ఎదుటివారి దుఃఖాలను చూచి సహించ లేక పోవుట కరుణ అంటాము. శత్రువు లేని వారు, అంతరింద్రియ నిగ్రహం కలిగిన వారు సాధువులు, సజ్జనులందరికీ అలంకారము.

21. titiksavah karunikah suhrdah sarva-dehinam
ajata-satravah santah sadhavah sadhu-bhusanah

The symptoms of a sadhu are that he is tolerant, merciful and friendly to all living entities. He has no enemies, he is peaceful, he abides by the scriptures, and all his characteristics are sublime.
