దేహేంద్రియముల యందాసక్తి కలవారు దేహమున బద్ధులై కటి ప్రదేశము పట్టును కోల్పోవుదురు. మితిమీరిన కోరికల వలన ఇంద్రియార్థముల యందు మానవ ప్రజ్ఞ బంధింపబడి బలమును కోల్పోవును. దేహమందు బంధింపబడును. సన్నని సౌకుమార్యమగు నడుము గల కాత్యాయనీ దేవిని నిత్యమారాధించుట వలన దేహము కొంత వశమగు అవకాశమున్నది. భూమి యందు శ్రీమాత తేజస్సు కాత్యాయనియే. భూమి బంధము నుండి విడిపించునది కూడ ఆమెయే. కాత్యాయనీ దేవి ఓడ్యాణపీఠమందు మిక్కిలి అభిమానము కలిగి యుండునని తెలియవలెను.

By regularly worshiping Katyayani Devi, who has a delicate and slender waist, there is a possibility of gaining some control over the body. On Earth, Sri Mata’s radiance is manifest as Katyayani.
