వృక్షము కూడ పెద్ద, చిన్న, బుల్లి కొమ్మలతో అలరారు చుండును. ఒక బృందమున వృద్ధులకు, స్త్రీలకు, పురుషులకు పిల్లలకు ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమములుండవలెను. అందరు కలిసి పాల్గొను కార్యక్రమములు కూడ ఉండవలెను. ఏకత్వమందు భిన్నత్వము, భిన్నత్వమందు ఏకత్వము గమనించి తదనుగుణముగ కార్యక్రమముల నేర్పరచు బృంద గణపతి, బృందములకు సరియైన పురోగతి నందించ గలడు.

అందరికిని వారి సహజ సమర్థతకు సరిపడు రీతిని కార్యక్రమములను రూపొందించ వలెను. ఒకరి కార్యక్రమములకు మరియొకరి కార్యక్రమములకు సహకారముండునట్లు కూడ ఏర్పాటు చేయవలెను. పై విధముగ యుక్తి యుక్తముగ బృందము నందు కార్యము లేర్పరచినచో వృక్షము వలె బృందము కూడ కలకాలము సమాజ సేవలందించ గలదు. ఈ జ్ఞానము లేక బృందములను నిర్మించుట వ్యర్థము. ఈ జ్ఞానమే, బృందములకు ప్రాణము.

🍀. చైతన్యమన్నది విప్లవాత్మక రూపాంతం. చైతన్యం గుండానే నిజమైన జ్ఞానం, వివేకం కలుగుతాయి. విషయాల్ని పోగు చేసుకోవడం వల్ల కాదు. నీలో తొంభయి శాతం చీకటి వుంటుంది. ఆ చీకటి తరిమెయ్యాలి. వ్యక్తి కాంతితో కళకళలాడాలి. 🍀

చైతన్యం గుండానే నిజమైన జ్ఞానం, వివేకం కలుగుతాయి. విషయాల్ని పోగు చేసుకోవడం వల్ల కాదు. సమాచార సేకరణ వల్ల కాదు. పరివర్తన వల్లనే అవి సాధ్యం. చైతన్యమన్నది విప్లవాత్మక రూపాంతం. అప్పుడు నువ్వు కొత్త జన్మ నెత్తుతావు. మామూలు వ్యక్తి కేవలం నిద్రావస్థలో వుంటాడు. లేదా సాధారణమయిన మెలకువతో వుంటాడు.

రోజు వారీ పనికి ఆ మాత్రం చాలు తిండి బట్ట సంపాదించుకోవడానికి, ఇల్లు కట్టుకోవడానికి, పిల్లల్ని కని సంసారం చెయ్యడానికి ఆ మాత్రం సరిపోతుంది. అంతకు మించి వీలు కాదు. నీలో తొంభయి శాతం చీకటి వుంటుంది. ఆ చీకటి తరిమెయ్యాలి. వ్యక్తి కాంతితో కళకళలాడాలి. అపుడు వ్యక్తి జీవించడంలోని గాఢతని, జీవించడంలోని పరమానందాన్ని గ్రహిస్తాడు.

ఆత్మ తన లక్ష్యం వైపు చేసే గొప్ప ప్రయాణం. ఇది మహాభారతం, రామాయణం మొదలైన ఇతిహాసాలలో ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రపంచంలో మనకు స్నేహితులు లేనట్లుగా కనిపించే సమయం కనిపిస్తుంది. యుధిష్ఠిరుడు మరియు ఇతరుల విషయంలో కూడా అలాగే జరిగింది. వారు అడవిలోకి, అరణ్యంలోకి విసిరివేయబడ్డారు. వారు గొప్ప యువరాజులు, కానీ ఈ వారసత్వం గురించి ఎవరు పట్టించుకుంటారు? వారు ఏ విధమైన సహాయం లేకుండా అరణ్యానికి తరిమివేయబడ్డారు, వారు మొత్తం ప్రపంచంలో అత్యంత అవాంఛనీయ వ్యక్తులుగా ఉన్నారు. ఇది మనం చర్చిస్తున్న ఆత్మ యొక్క మహాభారతం - సృష్టి యొక్క మొత్తం నిర్మాణంతో చైతన్యం చేసే యుద్ధం. ఇక్కడ, ఇతిహాసాలలో చిత్రీకరించిన సమస్యలే తలెత్తుతాయి.

🌻 22. It Looks as if We have no Friends in this World 🌻

It is a great symbolic march of the soul towards its goal, represented in such epics as the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, etc., where a time presents itself when it looks as if we have no friends in this world. So was the case with Yudhisthira and others. They were thrown into the forest, into the wilderness. They were princes, born of great kings, but who bothers about this heritage and inheritance? They were driven to the wilderness with no help and no succour of any sort whatsoever, as if they were the most unwanted people in the whole world. This is the Mahabharata of the spirit that we are discussing—the war of consciousness with the entire structure of creation. Here, the same problems will arise as have been depicted by the epics.

There is an enthusiasm of spirit in the beginning, as was the case with the childish Pandava brothers in their jubilant youth when it looked as if everything was beautiful, the world was friendly, and they had parents, brothers, relatives and protectors. It was all very nice, no doubt. We have parents, friends and brothers, and all things that are needed for safety and security, but suddenly we will find that the earth will give way under our feet and we will be the target of the very same persons and forces whom we looked upon as our friends. The very same cousin-brothers drove the Pandavas out. The Pandavas were helpless—in a predicament which was understandable only to God. Man cannot understand.

శతానన్దః, शतानन्दः, Śatānandaḥ


పరమానన్ద ఏవైకః శతధాభిద్యతే హరిః ।
ఉపాధిభేదాదితి స శతానన్ద ఇతీర్యతే ।
ఏతస్యేత్యాదిబృహదారణ్యకోపనిషచ్ఛ్రుతేః ॥

వాస్తవమున తాను ఒక్కటియే అయి యుండియు ఉపాధి భేదము వలన వేర్వేరు విధముల వేరయినను, ఒకేయొక పరమానందము ఏ పరమాత్ముని రూపమో అట్టివాడు శతానందః.

సలిల ఏకో ద్రష్టాఽద్వైతో భవ త్యేష బ్రహ్మలోకః స మ్రాడితి హైన మనుశాశన యాజ్ఞవల్క్య ఏషాస్య గతి రేషాస్యపరమా సమ్పదేషోఽస్యపరమోలోక ఏషోఽస్య పరమ ఆనన్ద ఏతస్యైవా నన్ద స్యాన్యాని భూతాని మాత్రా ముపజీవన్తి ॥ 32 ॥

ఆత్మ స్వచ్ఛమైన ఉదకమువంటిది. ఉదకము నందు వలెనే, సుషుప్తియందు రెండవ వస్తువు లేనిది. దేహేంద్రియోపాధి భేదములేని ఈ ఆత్మ సుషుప్తి కాలము నందు స్వకీయమైన ఆత్మ తేజస్సునందు ఉన్నది. ఈ ఆత్మ బ్రహ్మస్వరూపమైన లోకము. ఈ విధముగా యాజ్ఞవల్క్య ఋషి జనక మహారాజునకు బోధించెను. ఈ విజ్ఞానమయాత్మకు, ఇది శ్రేష్ఠమైన స్థానము మరియు శ్రేష్ఠమైన సంపత్తు. ఇదియే శ్రేష్ఠమైన లోకము. ఇదియే శ్రేష్ఠమైన ఆనందము. ఇతర భూతములు ఈ ఆననందము యొక్క అంశమును అనుసరించి జీవించుచున్నవి.

OM Śatānandāya namaḥ

परमानन्द एवैकः शतधाभिद्यते हरिः ।
उपाधिभेदादिति स शतानन्द इतीर्यते ।
एतस्येत्यादिबृहदारण्यकोपनिषच्छ्रुतेः ॥

Paramānanda evaikaḥ śatadhābhidyate hariḥ,
Upādhibhedāditi sa śatānanda itīryate,
Etasyetyādibr‌hadāraṇyakopaniṣacchruteḥ.


Paramānanda supreme bliss is one only. Due to differences of limitations, it is broken into hundreds. The One, in spite of this, who is of the form of such eternal bliss is Śatānandaḥ.


:: बृहदारण्यकोपनिषत् षष्ठाद्यायः तृतीयं ब्राह्मणं ::

सलिल एको द्रष्टाऽद्वैतो भव त्येष ब्रह्मलोकः स म्राडिति हैन मनुशाशन याज्ञवल्क्य एषास्य गति रेषास्यपरमा सम्पदेषोऽस्यपरमोलोक एषोऽस्य परम आनन्द एतस्यैवा नन्द स्यान्यानि भूतानि मात्रा मुपजीवन्ति ॥ ३२ ॥

Br‌hadāraṇyaka Upaniṣat - Part 6, Chapter 3

Salila eko draṣṭā’dvaito bhava tyeṣa brahmalokaḥ sa mrāḍiti haina manuśāśana yājñavalkya eṣāsya gati reṣāsyaparamā saṃpadeṣo’syaparamoloka eṣo’sya parama ānaṃda etasyaivā naṃda syānyāni bhūtāni mātrā mupajīvaṃti. 32.


It becomes transparent like water, one, the witness, and without a second. This is the world of Brahman. O Emperor Janaka. Thus did Yājñavalkya instruct Janaka: This is its supreme attainment, this is its supreme glory, this is its highest world, this is its supreme bliss. On a particle of this very bliss other beings live.

సప్తమాధ్యాయమున తెలుపబడనున్నట్లు జీవుడు శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని శక్తులలో(ప్రకృతులలో) ఒకడై యున్నాడు. కాని భగవానుని వేరొక శక్తియైన(న్యునమైనట్టిది) భౌతికప్రకృతికి అతడు భిన్నుడైనవాడు. అట్టి ఉన్నతప్రకృతికి చెందిన జీవుడు అనంతకాలముగా ఏదియో ఒక కారణముచే నిమ్నమైన భౌతికప్రకృతి యొక్క సంబంధమును కలిగియున్నాడు. అతడు పొందునటువంటి తాత్కాలిక దేహము (చరించుస్థలము) వివిధములైన కర్మలకు మరియు ఫలములకు కారణమై యున్నది. అటువంటి బద్ధవాతావరణములో జీవుంచుచు అజ్ఞానవశమున దేహాత్మ భావనచే జీవుడు దేహకర్మఫలములచే పీడితుడగును. అనంతకాలము నుండి పొందిన అట్టి అజ్ఞానమే దేహపరమగు దుఃఖమునకు, చింతకు కారణమై యున్నది. జీవుడు దేహపరకార్యముల నుండి దూరుడైనంతనే వాటి ఫలముల నుండియు దూరుడు కాగలడు. 

దేహమును పురమున నిలిచినంత కాలము జీవుడు దానికి అధిపతిగా కనిపించినను వాస్తవమునకు అతడు దేహమునకు అధిపతి కాని, దాని కర్మలను మరియు ఫలములను నియమించువాడు కాని కాడు. అతడు కేవలము భవసాగరమున జీవన పోరాటము సల్పునట్టివాడే. తనను తల్లక్రిందులు చేయు ఆ సముద్రపుటలలపై అతడు ఎట్టి నియంత్రణను కలిగి యుండడు. కనుక దివ్యమైన కృష్ణభక్త్తిభావన ద్వారా ఆ భవజలముల నుండి బయటపడుటయే దానికి ఉత్తమ పరిష్కారము. అది ఒక్కటే అతనిని సర్వక్లేశముల నుండి రక్షించగలదు.

*The embodied spirit, master of the city of his body, does not create activities, nor does he induce people to act, nor does he create the fruits of action. All this is enacted by the modes of material nature.*

🌹 Purport :

The living entity, as will be explained in the Seventh Chapter, is one of the energies or natures of the Supreme Lord but is distinct from matter, which is another nature – called inferior – of the Lord. Somehow the superior nature, the living entity, has been in contact with material nature since time immemorial. The temporary body or material dwelling place which he obtains is the cause of varieties of activities and their resultant reactions. Living in such a conditional atmosphere, one suffers the results of the activities of the body by identifying himself (in ignorance) with the body. 

It is ignorance acquired from time immemorial that is the cause of bodily suffering and distress. As soon as the living entity becomes aloof from the activities of the body, he becomes free from the reactions as well. As long as he is in the city of the body, he appears to be the master of it, but actually he is neither its proprietor nor controller of its actions and reactions. He is simply in the midst of the material ocean, struggling for existence. The waves of the ocean are tossing him, and he has no control over them. His best solution is to get out of the water by transcendental Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That alone will save him from all turmoil.

*It is a great symbolic march of the soul towards its goal, represented in such epics as the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, etc., where a time presents itself when it looks as if we have no friends in this world. So was the case with Yudhisthira and others. They were thrown into the forest, into the wilderness. They were princes, born of great kings, but who bothers about this heritage and inheritance? They were driven to the wilderness with no help and no succour of any sort whatsoever, as if they were the most unwanted people in the whole world. This is the Mahabharata of the spirit that we are discussing—the war of consciousness with the entire structure of creation. Here, the same problems will arise as have been depicted by the epics.*

*There is an enthusiasm of spirit in the beginning, as was the case with the childish Pandava brothers in their jubilant youth when it looked as if everything was beautiful, the world was friendly, and they had parents, brothers, relatives and protectors. It was all very nice, no doubt. We have parents, friends and brothers, and all things that are needed for safety and security, but suddenly we will find that the earth will give way under our feet and we will be the target of the very same persons and forces whom we looked upon as our friends. The very same cousin-brothers drove the Pandavas out. The Pandavas were helpless—in a predicament which was understandable only to God. Man cannot understand.*

*రోజు వారీ పనికి ఆ మాత్రం చాలు తిండి బట్ట సంపాదించుకోవడానికి, ఇల్లు కట్టుకోవడానికి, పిల్లల్ని కని సంసారం చెయ్యడానికి ఆ మాత్రం సరిపోతుంది. అంతకు మించి వీలు కాదు. నీలో తొంభయి శాతం చీకటి వుంటుంది. ఆ చీకటి తరిమెయ్యాలి. వ్యక్తి కాంతితో కళకళలాడాలి. అపుడు వ్యక్తి జీవించడంలోని గాఢతని, జీవించడంలోని పరమానందాన్ని గ్రహిస్తాడు.*

🌻 380. 'బిందుమండలవాసినీ' - 1🌻

బ్రహ్మరంధ్రమున నివసించునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. బ్రహ్మరంధ్రమును 'బిందు మండల' మందురు. ఆత్మబిందువు వసించు స్థానము బ్రహ్మరంధ్రము. అందువలన 'బిందు మండల వాసిని' అని శ్రీమాతను సంబోధింతురు. ఈ నివాసము సర్వానంద మయము. ఋషులు అంతర్ముఖముగ తపస్సు సాగించి బ్రహ్మరంధ్రము నందు బిందు స్థానమును చేరి తన్మయులై పరవశింతురు. శరీర మొక పద్మకోశము. అనేకానేక పొరలతో ఏర్పడి యున్నది.

అన్ని పొరలకు మూలమైన ఆత్మ ప్రజ్ఞ సూర్యప్రభలతో వెలుగుచుండు బిందువువలె యుండును. మంత్రపుష్పమున ఈ బిందువునే ఆరాధించుట జరుగును. ఈ బిందువును బియ్యపు గింజ తలయందలి కొనతో పోల్చి చెప్పుదురు. అందుండియే స్వరాట్, త్రిమూర్తులు మొదలగు ప్రజ్ఞలన్నీ పుట్టినట్లుగ కూడ మంత్రపుష్పము కీర్తించును. బ్రహ్మము వసించు నాళము గనుక బ్రహ్మనాళ మని బ్రహ్మరంధ్ర మని అందురు. ఈ నాళము నుండి వికసించిన పద్మమునందే సృష్టికర్తయగు చతుర్ముఖ బ్రహ్మ ఉద్భవించినాడు.

🕉 Truth is achieved only through awareness. It is not a mind process at all. You are not to think the truth; rather, you have to stop all thinking to know truth; you have forget all about truth to know truth. 🕉

You have to unburden yourself of all the theories, hypothesizes, philosophies, and ideologies that you have learned. The process of achieving the truth is a process of unlearning, it is a process of unconditioning. Slowly, one has to get out of the mind, to slip out of the mind; and one has to become just a pool of consciousness, a pure awareness. Just a sheer watchfulness: Do nothing, just watch, watch all that is happening in the outside world and in the inside world.

When one can just watch without any judgment interfering, without any old ideas coming in, then truth is revealed. And the miracle is that it does not come from somewhere else to you, it does not descend from above; it is found within you-it is your intrinsic nature. It is really a great revelation to know truth, because you are it and you have never lost it--even for a single moment. You have always been it. It is impossible to lose it, because it is your nature and your nature cannot be lost. That's why we call it nature. That which cannot be lost is the very definition of nature. That which can be lost is not nature but nurture. Truth is your nature, your very being, your very existence, your very center.

🌻. కుండ నిర్మాణాగ్ని కార్యాది విధి -2‌ 🌻

హోమము చేయుటకై చేయు ప్రమాణము లేదు పండ్రెండు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణము గల సృక్కును చేయించవలెను. దాని మూలభాగము చతురస్రముగా ఏడు లేదా ఐదు అంగుళములు ఉండవలెను. దాని మధ్యయందు త్రిభాగమున అందమైన, వర్తులాకార మైనగర్తము (గొయ్యి) ఉండవలెను.

అడ్డముగా, పై భాగమున సమముగా ఆ గర్తము నిర్మించి పైన అర్ధాంగుళ భాగమును శోధించవలెను. (చెక్కి నున్నగా చేయవలెను). నాల్గవ వంతు అంగుళమును మిగిలిన అర్ధములో అర్థమును కూడ శోధించవలెను. మిగిలిని అర్ధముచే గుర్తమునకు రమ్యమైన మేఖలను ఏర్పరుపవలెను.

త్రిభాగవిస్తారము కలదియు, అంగుష్ఠ మంత ఆయతు మైనదియు అగు కంఠమును చేయవలెను. దాని అగ్రమునందు నాలుగు లేదా ఐదు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణము గల ముఖ ముండవలెను. దాని మధ్యము ఆరు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణ ముండవలెను. దాని ఆయామము కూడా అంతయే ఉండి మధ్యమున పల్లమై అందముగా ఉండవలెను. దాని కంఠదేశమునందు చిటికెనవ్రేలు ప్రవేశించు నంత రంధ్ర ముండవలెను. మిగిలిన కుండము ( స్రుక్కు/ముఖము) అభిరుచి ననుసరించి విచిత్రముగ చేయవలెను.

స్రువము దండముతో సహా చేయి పొడ వుండవలెను. కొంచెము పంకమునందు ఆవు పాదము దిగిన లోతు ఎంట్లుండులో ఆ విధముగా అందమైన, రెండు అంగుళముల వృత్తము చేయవలెను.

అగ్నికుండమును అలికి, అంగుళముప్రమాణము గల వజ్రనాసికాలేఖను గీయవలెను. అది ఉత్తరాగ్ర మగు మొదటి రేఖ. దానిపై పూర్వాభిముఖములైన రెండు రేఖలు గీయవలెను. వాటి మధ్య దక్షిణాదిక్రమమున మూడు రేఖలు గీయవలెను.

మంత్రవేత్త ఈ విధముగా రేఖలు గీసి, ప్రణవ ముచ్చరించును నీళ్ళు చల్లి, ఓంకారము నుచ్చరించుచు పీఠమును కల్పించి దానిపై మూర్తిమతి యాగు వైష్ణవీశక్తిని అలంకరించి, విష్ణువును స్మరించుచు అగ్నిని ఉంచవలెను. 20

Chapter 24

🌻 Mode of constructing the sacrificial pit and the oblations unto fire - 2🌻

10. (In pits of) circular (shape) the girdles would be of the shape of the petals of a lotus. The ladle for the sake of oblation is to be made of the size of an arm.

11. Then one has to make (ready) a site (of the length) of thirteen thumbs and four (in breadth). A pit of three-fourths (of the site) is dug and a beautiful circle (is made).

12-13. One has to purify (the space) outside the pit evenly, horizontally and upwards (to the extent of) half a thumb (and) one-fourth of a thumb. A beautiful boundary line is to be made with the remaining (space) (around) the pit.

14-15. Or it may be half a thumb more. The mouth would be at the front (having) a width of four or five thumbs. Its central part might be three times two thumbs and beautiful. The extent (on all sides) (might be) of equal (measurement) (and) its central portion is lowered.

16. There must be a hole at the neck portion (of such a size) that the little finger would enter. The other pit should be beautifully made according to one’s liking.

17. The (sacrificial) ladle should have a handle of the length of one hand. A beautiful spoon (having) circumference of two thumbs has to be made.

18-19. Just as the cow’s foot (would) sink in a little mud, so also after having drawn a line (of the length) of a thumb.(known as) vajranāsikā, (one has to draw) first a line with a fine tip, (then) two lines between it and the east (and) then three lines in the middle from the south onwards in order.

20. Having drawn (the lines), (and) consecrating, with the syllable Om, one who knows the mantras, has to make a seat in which the energy of Viṣṇu rests.

విష్ణువు ఇట్లు పలికెను--

మహా దేవా! పరమేశ్వరా! లోపల ఏమి చేయుచున్నావు? తారకాసురునిచే పీడితులై నిన్ను శరణు పొందిన దేవతలనందరినీ రక్షించుము (59).

ఓ మునీశ్వరా! విష్ణువు నాతో దేవతలతో గూడి ఈ తీరున శంభుని పరి పరి విధముల స్తుతిస్తూ తారకునిచే పీడింపబడిన దేవతలతో సహా బిగ్గరగా రోదించెను (60). ఓ మునీశ్వరా! అచట రాక్షస పీడితులైన దేవతల దుఃఖము శివుని స్తుతితో మిళితమై కోలాహల మేర్పడెను (61).

శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణములోని రుద్రసంహితయందు కుమార ఖండలో శివవిహార వర్ణన మనే మొదటి అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (1).

60. O excellent sage, standing there, along with me and the gods, he eulogised Śiva, the lord of all the worlds with great pleasure.

Viṣṇu said:—

61. O great lord, what are you doing there inside? Save us who are harassed by Tāraka and who have sought refuge in you.

62. O great sage, praising and pleading like this to Śiva, Viṣṇu wept bitterly along with the gods harassed by Tāraka.

63. O great sage, the tumultuous cry of the heaven-dwellers distressed by the demon got mingled with the sound of eulogy to Śiva.

మహా దేవా! పరమేశ్వరా! లోపల ఏమి చేయుచున్నావు? తారకాసురునిచే పీడితులై నిన్ను శరణు పొందిన దేవతలనందరినీ రక్షించుము (59). 

ఓ మునీశ్వరా! విష్ణువు నాతో దేవతలతో గూడి ఈ తీరున శంభుని పరి పరి విధముల స్తుతిస్తూ తారకునిచే పీడింపబడిన దేవతలతో సహా బిగ్గరగా రోదించెను (60). ఓ మునీశ్వరా! అచట రాక్షస పీడితులైన దేవతల దుఃఖము శివుని స్తుతితో మిళితమై కోలాహల మేర్పడెను (61).

*🌻. కుండ నిర్మాణాగ్ని కార్యాది విధి -2‌ 🌻*

హోమము చేయుటకై చేయు ప్రమాణము లేదు పండ్రెండు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణము గల సృక్కును చేయించవలెను. దాని మూలభాగము చతురస్రముగా ఏడు లేదా ఐదు అంగుళములు ఉండవలెను. దాని మధ్యయందు త్రిభాగమున అందమైన, వర్తులాకార మైనగర్తము (గొయ్యి) ఉండవలెను. 

అడ్డముగా, పై భాగమున సమముగా ఆ గర్తము నిర్మించి పైన అర్ధాంగుళ భాగమును శోధించవలెను. (చెక్కి నున్నగా చేయవలెను). నాల్గవ వంతు అంగుళమును మిగిలిన అర్ధములో అర్థమును కూడ శోధించవలెను. మిగిలిని అర్ధముచే గుర్తమునకు రమ్యమైన మేఖలను ఏర్పరుపవలెను. 

త్రిభాగవిస్తారము కలదియు, అంగుష్ఠ మంత ఆయతు మైనదియు అగు కంఠమును చేయవలెను. దాని అగ్రమునందు నాలుగు లేదా ఐదు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణము గల ముఖ ముండవలెను. దాని మధ్యము ఆరు అంగుళముల ప్రమాణ ముండవలెను. దాని ఆయామము కూడా అంతయే ఉండి మధ్యమున పల్లమై అందముగా ఉండవలెను. దాని కంఠదేశమునందు చిటికెనవ్రేలు ప్రవేశించు నంత రంధ్ర ముండవలెను. మిగిలిన కుండము ( స్రుక్కు/ముఖము) అభిరుచి ననుసరించి విచిత్రముగ చేయవలెను.

స్రువము దండముతో సహా చేయి పొడ వుండవలెను. కొంచెము పంకమునందు ఆవు పాదము దిగిన లోతు ఎంట్లుండులో ఆ విధముగా అందమైన, రెండు అంగుళముల వృత్తము చేయవలెను.

అగ్నికుండమును అలికి, అంగుళముప్రమాణము గల వజ్రనాసికాలేఖను గీయవలెను. అది ఉత్తరాగ్ర మగు మొదటి రేఖ. దానిపై పూర్వాభిముఖములైన రెండు రేఖలు గీయవలెను. వాటి మధ్య దక్షిణాదిక్రమమున మూడు రేఖలు గీయవలెను.

మంత్రవేత్త ఈ విధముగా రేఖలు గీసి, ప్రణవ ముచ్చరించును నీళ్ళు చల్లి, ఓంకారము నుచ్చరించుచు పీఠమును కల్పించి దానిపై మూర్తిమతి యాగు వైష్ణవీశక్తిని అలంకరించి, విష్ణువును స్మరించుచు అగ్నిని ఉంచవలెను. 20

*🌻 Mode of constructing the sacrificial pit and the oblations unto fire - 2🌻*

10. (In pits of) circular (shape) the girdles would be of the shape of the petals of a lotus. The ladle for the sake of oblation is to be made of the size of an arm.

11. Then one has to make (ready) a site (of the length) of thirteen thumbs and four (in breadth). A pit of three-fourths (of the site) is dug and a beautiful circle (is made).

12-13. One has to purify (the space) outside the pit evenly, horizontally and upwards (to the extent of) half a thumb (and) one-fourth of a thumb. A beautiful boundary line is to be made with the remaining (space) (around) the pit.

14-15. Or it may be half a thumb more. The mouth would be at the front (having) a width of four or five thumbs. Its central part might be three times two thumbs and beautiful. The extent (on all sides) (might be) of equal (measurement) (and) its central portion is lowered.

16. There must be a hole at the neck portion (of such a size) that the little finger would enter. The other pit should be beautifully made according to one’s liking.

17. The (sacrificial) ladle should have a handle of the length of one hand. A beautiful spoon (having) circumference of two thumbs has to be made.

18-19. Just as the cow’s foot (would) sink in a little mud, so also after having drawn a line (of the length) of a thumb.(known as) vajranāsikā, (one has to draw) first a line with a fine tip, (then) two lines between it and the east (and) then three lines in the middle from the south onwards in order.

20. Having drawn (the lines), (and) consecrating, with the syllable Om, one who knows the mantras, has to make a seat in which the energy of Viṣṇu rests.

🍀. ఎవరి హృదయాలు అద్భుతంతో నాట్యం చేస్తాయో ఎవరి అస్తిత్వం సంభ్రమంతో సంచలిస్తుందో దేవుడు వాళ్ళకు సన్నిహితంగా వుంటాడు. అస్తిత్వం అలుపు లేనిది. అద్భుతం నిరంతరం కొనసాగుతుంది. రహస్యం కొనసాగుతుంది. 🍀

జీవితాన్ని చూడ్డం మాత్రమే కాదు. జీవించాలి. అప్పుడు తెలుసు కోవడమన్నది సాగుతూ వుంటుంది. అది కొనసాగే ప్రక్రియ. అది అంతం లేని మహాప్రస్థానం. అక్కడున్న సౌందర్యమేమిటంటే అక్కడ అద్భుతం నిరంతరం కొనసాగుతుంది. రహస్యం కొనసాగుతుంది. మనం నిరంతం అక్కడ యింకా చాలా తెలుసుకోవాలని తెలుసుకుంటూ వుంటాం.

అస్తిత్వం అలుపు లేనిది. మనిషి ఎప్పటికీ పసివాడుగా మిగిలిపోతాడు. అద్భుతాల మధ్య, ఆశ్చర్యాల మధ్య వున్న పసివాడవుతాడు. దేవుడు రహస్యం. ఐతే ఎవరి హృదయాలు అద్భుతంతో నాట్యం చేస్తాయో ఎవరి అస్తిత్వం సంభ్రమంతో సంచలిస్తుందో దేవుడు వాళ్ళకు సన్నిహితంగా వుంటాడు.

సుదీర్ఘ సాధన ఒక్కటే పరిష్కారం. ఈ కష్టాలు, సమస్యలు, బాధలు, సంస్కారాలు మరియు కోరికలను మన దగ్గర ఉన్న ఏ కవచం లేదా పరికరంతో ఎదుర్కోలేము. నిరంతర సాధన తప్ప మరో ప్రత్యామ్నాయం లేదు. ఈ కోరికలతో మనం చేస్తున్న ఒక రకమైన సత్యాగ్రహం అని మనం చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. అవి కూడా అంతే శక్తివంతులు కాబట్టి మనం వాటిని నేరుగా యుద్ధంలో ఎదుర్కోలేము. కానీ, అవి మళ్లీ తలలు చూపించే అవకాశం లేదన్నంత పట్టుదలతో ఉంటాం. ఒక వ్యక్తి తన లక్ష్యం వైపు పయనిస్తున్నాడనే భావన సంవత్సరాలు సాధన తర్వాత ప్రారంభమవుతుంది-నెలల తర్వాత కాదు.

🌻 21. Long Practice is the Only Solution 🌻

Long practice is the only solution. These difficulties, problems, pains, samskaras and desires cannot be faced with any armour or apparatus that we have with us. There is no alternative except continued practice. This is a kind of satyagraha that we are doing with these desires, we may say. We cannot face them in battle directly because they too are equally powerful. But, we can be persistent to such an extent that there is no chance for them to show their heads again. The feeling that one is moving towards one's goal begins to rise within oneself after years and years of practice—not after months.

Of course there are masters, great heroes on the path, who must have done this practice in previous births, such as Jnaneshwara Maharaj, Janaka, and such great heroes of the spirit who showed signs of mastery and achievement early in life. For others it is a torture, but it is a necessary ordeal that one has to pass through for the sake of scrubbing out all the encrustations in the form of anything that goes to make up this personality of ours in all its five vestures. Annamaya, pranamaya, manomaya, vijnanamaya and anandamaya—all these five koshas are various densities of the manifestation of desire.

సుందరమగు అంగములును, అవయవములు ఈతనికి గలవు కనుక అచ్యుతుడు స్వంగః. అంగము అనగా శరీరము అనియు అర్థము. సు + అంగః సుందరమగు శరీరము కలవాడనియు చెప్పవచ్చును.

Since Lord Acyuta is with proportionate and beautiful body parts, He is called Svaṅgaḥ. Su + aṅgaḥ. Aṅgaḥ also can mean body. Hence Svaṅgaḥ can also mean the One with a beautiful body.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*దేహమునందున్న జీవుడు తన స్వభావమును నియమించి మానసికముగా కర్మలన్నింటిని త్యజించినపుడు, కర్మను చేయక మరియు కర్మకు కారణము కాక నవద్వారపురము నందు(దేహములో) సుఖముగా వసించును.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

బద్ధజీవుడు నవద్వారములు గల పురమునందు నివసించును. దేహకర్మలు (దేహమనెడి పురము యొక్క కర్మలు) స్వాభావిక గుణము ననుసరించి వాటంతట అవే అప్రయత్నముగా నిర్వహింపబడును. దేహపరిస్థితుల ప్రభావమునకు లోనైయుండెడి జీవుడు ఒకవేళ తలచినచో వాటికి అతీతుడుగును కావచ్చును. జీవుడు తన ఉన్నతస్వభావమును మరచి దేహాత్మభావనను పొందుట వలననే దుఃఖము నొందుచున్నాడు. 

కృష్ణభక్తిభావనలో అతడు తన సహజస్థితిని పునరిద్ధరించుకొని బంధము నుండి ముక్తుడు కాగలడు. కనుకనే కృష్ణభక్తిపరాయణుడైనంతనే మనుజుడు శీఘ్రముగా దేహపరకర్మల నుండి దూరుడగును. అటువంటి మారిన ప్రవృత్తులు కలిగిన నియమితజీవితము నందు అతడు నవద్వారపురములో సుఖుముగా జీవించును. నవద్వారములు ఈ క్రింది విధముగా తెలుపబడినవి.

నవద్వారే పురే దేహీ హంసో లీలాయతే బహి: |

వశీ సర్వస్య లోకస్య స్థావరస్య చరస్య చ 

“జీవుని దేహమునందు నిలిచియుండెడి భగవానుడు విశ్వమునందలి సమస్తజీవులను నియమించువాడు. దేహము నవద్వారములను కలిగియుండును (రెండు కళ్ళు, రెండు నాసికారంధ్రములు, రెండు చెవులు, ఒకనోరు,మర్మావయము, గుదస్థానము). బద్ధస్థితిలో జీవుడు అట్టి దేహముతో తనను గుర్తించును. కాని హృదయస్థ పరమాత్మతో తనను అతడు గుర్తించినపుడు దేహమునందున్నపుడు భగవానుని వలె స్వతంత్రుడు కాగలదు (శ్వేతాశ్వతరోపనిషత్తు 3.18)”. 

కనుకనే కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనము నందున్నవాడు దేహము యొక్క అంతర్బాహ్య కర్మలన్నింటి నుండి స్వతంత్రుడై యుండును.

*13. sarva-karmāṇi manasā sannyasyāste sukhaṁ vaśī*

*nava-dvāre pure dehī naiva kurvan na kārayan*

🌷 Translation : 

*When the embodied living being controls his nature and mentally renounces all actions, he resides happily in the city of nine gates [the material body], neither working nor causing work to be done.*

🌹 Purport :

The embodied soul lives in the city of nine gates. The activities of the body, or the figurative city of body, are conducted automatically by its particular modes of nature. The soul, although subjecting himself to the conditions of the body, can be beyond those conditions, if he so desires. Owing only to forgetfulness of his superior nature, he identifies with the material body, and therefore suffers. 

By Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he can revive his real position and thus come out of his embodiment. Therefore, when one takes to Kṛṣṇa consciousness, one at once becomes completely aloof from bodily activities. In such a controlled life, in which his deliberations are changed, he lives happily within the city of nine gates. The nine gates are mentioned as follows:

nava-dvāre pure dehī haṁso lelāyate bahiḥ

vaśī sarvasya lokasya sthāvarasya carasya ca

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is living within the body of a living entity, is the controller of all living entities all over the universe. The body consists of nine gates [two eyes, two nostrils, two ears, one mouth, the anus and the genitals]. The living entity in his conditioned stage identifies himself with the body, but when he identifies himself with the Lord within himself, he becomes just as free as the Lord, even while in the body.” (Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad 3.18)

Therefore, a Kṛṣṇa conscious person is free from both the outer and inner activities of the material body.

*Since Lord Acyuta is with proportionate and beautiful body parts, He is called Svaṅgaḥ. Su + aṅgaḥ. Aṅgaḥ also can mean body. Hence Svaṅgaḥ can also mean the One with a beautiful body.*

*సుదీర్ఘ సాధన ఒక్కటే పరిష్కారం. ఈ కష్టాలు, సమస్యలు, బాధలు, సంస్కారాలు మరియు కోరికలను మన దగ్గర ఉన్న ఏ కవచం లేదా పరికరంతో ఎదుర్కోలేము. నిరంతర సాధన తప్ప మరో ప్రత్యామ్నాయం లేదు. ఈ కోరికలతో మనం చేస్తున్న ఒక రకమైన సత్యాగ్రహం అని మనం చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. అవి కూడా అంతే శక్తివంతులు కాబట్టి మనం వాటిని నేరుగా యుద్ధంలో ఎదుర్కోలేము. కానీ, అవి మళ్లీ తలలు చూపించే అవకాశం లేదన్నంత పట్టుదలతో ఉంటాం. ఒక వ్యక్తి తన లక్ష్యం వైపు పయనిస్తున్నాడనే భావన సంవత్సరాలు సాధన తర్వాత ప్రారంభమవుతుంది-నెలల తర్వాత కాదు.*

*Long practice is the only solution. These difficulties, problems, pains, samskaras and desires cannot be faced with any armour or apparatus that we have with us. There is no alternative except continued practice. This is a kind of satyagraha that we are doing with these desires, we may say. We cannot face them in battle directly because they too are equally powerful. But, we can be persistent to such an extent that there is no chance for them to show their heads again. The feeling that one is moving towards one's goal begins to rise within oneself after years and years of practice—not after months.*

*Of course there are masters, great heroes on the path, who must have done this practice in previous births, such as Jnaneshwara Maharaj, Janaka, and such great heroes of the spirit who showed signs of mastery and achievement early in life. For others it is a torture, but it is a necessary ordeal that one has to pass through for the sake of scrubbing out all the encrustations in the form of anything that goes to make up this personality of ours in all its five vestures. Annamaya, pranamaya, manomaya, vijnanamaya and anandamaya—all these five koshas are various densities of the manifestation of desire.*

*అస్తిత్వం అలుపు లేనిది. మనిషి ఎప్పటికీ పసివాడుగా మిగిలిపోతాడు. అద్భుతాల మధ్య, ఆశ్చర్యాల మధ్య వున్న పసివాడవుతాడు. దేవుడు రహస్యం. ఐతే ఎవరి హృదయాలు అద్భుతంతో నాట్యం చేస్తాయో ఎవరి అస్తిత్వం సంభ్రమంతో సంచలిస్తుందో దేవుడు వాళ్ళకు సన్నిహితంగా వుంటాడు.*

*బృందములందు, స్త్రీలు, పురుషులు, పిల్లలు కలసిమెలసి మెలగవచ్చునా? లేక వారి మధ్య వ్యత్యాసము చూపవలెనా? తప్పక బృందమందు అందరును ఉండవచ్చును. కాని ప్రకృతి సిద్ధమగు కొన్ని వ్యత్యాసములు మన్నించుట శ్రేయస్కరము. ఒకే వృక్షమునకు వివిధమగు శాఖలున్నవి కదా! ఒక శాఖ తీరునకు మరియొక శాఖ తీరునకు వ్యత్యాసముండుట కూడ సహజమే అని గుర్తింపవలెను. వ్యత్యాసములతో కూడిన శాఖలతో ఒక వృక్షమున్నట్లే ఒక బృందమందు గల సభ్యుల మధ్య ఏకత్వమందు సహజమగు భిన్నత్వమును గుర్తించి మన్నింప వలెను.*

*పిల్లలు పిల్లలే, వారు పెద్దలు కారు. జీవ పరముగ పెద్దలే అయివుండవచ్చుగాని, దేహపరముగ, మానసిక పరముగ కారు. అట్లే పురుషులు పురుషులే. స్త్రీలు స్త్రీలే. పురుషులు, స్త్రీలు కాలేరు. స్త్రీలు, పురుషులు కాక సంఘమందు వృద్ధులుందురు. వారి జీవితానుభవము ఇతరులు తెలియవలసిన ఆవశ్యకత యున్నది. పెద్ద కొమ్మలు, చిన్న కొమ్మలు, రెమ్మలువలె వృద్ధులు, స్త్రీ పురుషులు, పిల్లలు కలసిన బృందమే అందము.*
