🌴. 16వ అధ్యాయము - దైవాసుర స్వభావములు - 8 🌴
08. అసత్యమప్రతిష్టం తే జగదాహురనీశ్వరమ్ |
అపరస్పరమ్బూతం కిమన్యత్ కామహైతుకమ్ ||
🌷. తాత్పర్యం : ఈ జగము అసత్యమనియు, ఆధారము లేనిదనియు, నియామకుడెవ్వడును దీనికి లేడనియు, సంగమాభిలాష చేతనే ఉత్పన్నమైనట్టి దీనికి కామము తప్ప వేరొక్కటి కారణము కాదనియు వారు పలుకుదురు.
🌷. భాష్యము : అసురస్వభావులు ఈ జగమును భ్రాంతి యని నిర్ణయింతురు. దీనికి కార్యకారణములు గాని, నియామకుడుగాని, ప్రయోజనముకాని లేవనియు సర్వము మిథ్యయనియు వారు భావింతురు. ఈ జగత్తు భౌతిక చర్య, ప్రతిచర్య వలన యాదృచ్చికముగా ఏర్పడినదని పలుకుదురే కాని ఒక ప్రత్యేక ప్రయోజనార్థమై భగవానునిచే సృష్టింపబడినదని వారు భావింపజాలరు. ఈ జగత్తు దానంతట అదే వచ్చియున్నందున దాని వెనుక భగవానుడు ఒకడున్నాడని నమ్మవలసిన అవసరము లేదనెడి తమ స్వంత సిద్ధాంతమును వారు కలిగియుందురు. వారి ఆత్మ మరియు భౌతికపదార్థము (అనాత్మ) నడుమగల వ్యత్యాసమును గమనింపరు. అదేవిధముగా దివ్యాత్మను (భగవానుని) కూడా వారు అంగీకరింపరు.
వారి ఉద్దేశ్యమున సమస్తమును పదార్థమే. అనగా సమస్త విశ్వము అజ్ఞానమయమేనని వారి భావము. సమస్తము శూన్యమేయనియు మరియు కనిపించునదంతటికి మన అజ్ఞానమే కారణమనియు వారు తలతురు. నిజమునకు అస్తిత్వము లేనటువంటి పెక్కింటిని మనము స్వప్నము నందు సృష్టించినట్లుగా, వైవిధ్యముగల సృష్టులన్నియు అజ్ఞానము యొక్క ప్రదర్శనయేనని వారు నిశ్చయముగా పలుకుదురు. కాని మేల్కాంచినంతనే అదియంతయు స్వప్నమేయని మనము గుర్తింతురు. దానవస్వభావులు జీవితము స్వప్నము వంటిదే యని పలికెను, ఆ స్వప్నమును అనుభవించుటలో అతి ప్రవీణులై యుందురు. తత్కారణముగా జ్ఞానమార్జించుటకు బదులు తమ స్వప్ననగర మందే మరింతగా వారు బంధింప బడుచుందురు.

🌴 Chapter 16 - The Divine and Demoniac Natures - 08 🌴
08. asatyam apratiṣṭhaṁ te jagad āhur anīśvaram
aparaspara-sambhūtaṁ kim anyat kāma-haitukam
🌷 Translation : They say that this world is unreal, with no foundation, no God in control. They say it is produced of sex desire and has no cause other than lust.
🌹 Purport : The demonic conclude that the world is phantasmagoria. There is no cause and effect, no controller, no purpose: everything is unreal. They say that this cosmic manifestation arises due to chance material actions and reactions. They do not think that the world was created by God for a certain purpose. They have their own theory: that the world has come about in its own way and that there is no reason to believe that there is a God behind it. For them there is no difference between spirit and matter, and they do not accept the Supreme Spirit. Everything is matter only, and the whole cosmos is supposed to be a mass of ignorance.
According to them, everything is void, and whatever manifestation exists is due to our ignorance in perception. They take it for granted that all manifestation of diversity is a display of ignorance, just as in a dream we may create so many things which actually have no existence. Then when we are awake we shall see that everything is simply a dream. But factually, although the demons say that life is a dream, they are very expert in enjoying this dream. And so, instead of acquiring knowledge, they become more and more implicated in their dreamland.
