*తాత్పర్యము : శ్రీ కపిలభగవానుడు నుడివెను - *తల్లీ! అగ్నికి ఉత్పత్పి స్థానమైన అరణి,తన నుండి ఉత్పన్నమైన అగ్నివలన కాలి బూడిదయగును. అట్లే నిష్కామభావముతో చేసిన స్వధర్మాచరణముద్వారా అంతఃకరణము పరిశుద్ధమై చాలాకాలము భగవత్కథాశ్రవణము ద్వారా దృఢపడిన భక్తివలనను,*
వ్యాఖ్య : *పరమాత్మను ఎలా ఆరాధించాలి? కేవలం భక్తితోనేనా? ఉపాంగములతో కూడిన భక్తి. అంటే కర్మ, జ్ఞ్యానమూ, భక్తి, ప్రపతీ, అవతార రహస్య జ్ఞ్యానం. ఇన్ని యోగములతో కూడిన భక్తితో ఆరాధించబడిన పరమాత్మ ప్రసన్నుడై, అనుగ్రహించి మనను, తాను ఆత్మగా ఉన్న జీవాత్మ స్వరూప జ్ఞ్యానాన్ని కలిగిస్తే, అది కలిగిన తరువాత, ఆయన అనుగ్రహముతో ఆయనను పొందుతాము. పరమాత్మ అనుగ్రహం కలిగిన తరువాత ప్రకృతి మనని విడిచిపెడుతుంది. ఈ భక్తి యోగానికి అంగాలుగా ఉన్న మిగతా యోగాలు కూడా అర్థంకావాలి.

*tīvrayā mayi bhaktyā ca śruta-sambhṛtayā ciram*
*MEANING : The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One can get liberation by seriously discharging devotional service unto Me and thereby hearing for a long time about Me or from Me. By thus executing one's prescribed duties, there will be no reaction, and one will be freed from the contamination of matter.*
*PURPORT : Śrīdhara Svāmī comments in this connection that by association with material nature alone one does not become conditioned. Conditional life begins only after one is infected by the modes of material nature. If someone is in contact with the police department, that does not mean that he is a criminal. As long as one does not commit criminal acts, even though there is a police department, he is not punished. Similarly, the liberated soul is not affected, although he is in the material nature. Even the Supreme Personality of Godhead is supposed to be in association with material nature when He descends, but He is not affected. One has to act in such a way that in spite of being in the material nature he is not affected by contamination. Although the lotus flower is in association with water, it does not mix with the water. That is how one has to live, as described here by the Personality of Godhead Kapiladeva (animitta-nimittena sva-dharm eṇāmalātmanā). One can be liberated from all adverse circumstances simply by seriously engaging in devotional service.*

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను -
దుఃఖితులై యున్న ఆ ఇంద్రాది దేవతలందరు బ్రహ్మగారి మాటలను విని వృషభధ్వజుడగు శివుడు నివసించి యున్న స్థానమునకు వెళ్లిరి (11). అపుడు వారందరు లోకములకు మంగళములను గూర్చువాడు, దేవదేవుడు అగు శంకరునకు తలలు వంచి చేతులు జోడించి భక్తితో ప్రణమిల్లి ఇట్లు స్తుతించిరి (12).
దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి -
నీవు హిరణ్య గర్భుడవై సృష్టినంతనూ చేసితివి. సర్వసమర్దుడగు విష్ణువు యొక్క రూపమును దాల్చి జగత్తును రక్షించుచున్నావు. నీకు నమస్కారము (13). నీవు రుద్ర స్వరూపుడవై ప్రాణులను సంహరించెదవు. కాని నీవు నిర్గుణుడు, సాటిలేని తేజస్సు గలవాడు అగు శివుడవు. నీకు నమస్కారము (14). అవస్థలకు అతీతుడు, వికారరహితుడు, తేజస్స్వరూపుడు, పంచ మహాభూతముల స్వరూపములో నున్నవాడు, కర్మలేపము లేనివాడు, అఖండాత్మ స్వరూపుడు (15), భూతములకు ప్రభువు, బ్రహ్మాండ భారమును మోయువాడు, తృష్టను పోగొట్టువాడు, దోషరహితమగు ఆకారము గలవాడు, మహాతేజశ్శాలి అగు శివునకు నమస్కారము (16).
మహారాక్షసులనే మహారణ్యమును తగులబెట్టే దావాగ్ని వంటివాడు, దైత్యులనే వృక్షములకు గొడ్డలియైనవాడు, చేతియందు శూలమును ధరించువాడు అగు నీకు నమస్కారము (17). ఓ పరమేశ్వరా! గొప్ప రాక్షసులను సంహరించే నీకు నమస్కారము. అస్త్రములనన్నిటినీ ధరించువాడా! పార్వతీ పతివగు నీకు నమస్కారము (18). ఓ పార్వతీ పతీ! పరమాత్మా! మహేశ్వరా! నల్లని కంఠము గల్గిన, రుద్రరూపుడవగు నీకు నమస్కారము(19). నీవు ఉపనిషద్వాక్యములచే తెలియబడుదువు. కర్మ, భక్తి ఇత్యాది మార్గములకు నీవు అతీతుడవు. త్రిగుణాత్మకుడవు నీవే. త్రిగుణ రహితుడవు నీవే. నీకు అనేక నమస్కారములు (20).
