🌻 385. ‘సాక్షివర్జితా' - 1🌻

శ్రీమాతకు వేరొక సాక్ష్యము లేదు. కనుక ఆమె 'సాక్షివర్జిత’ అయినది. శ్రీమాతకు ముందున్నది తత్త్వమే. తత్త్వము నుండియే శివ శక్తు లుద్భవించినవి. అందువలన వారే లోకసాక్షులు. వారి నుండి దిగివచ్చినవారు వారిచే గమనింపబడు చుందురు. దిగివచ్చిన వారి నుండి తర తరములుగ దిగివచ్చినవారిని పరికించవచ్చును. సర్వ జీవులను సూర్యుడు, చంద్రుడు, యముడు, కాలము, పంచ భూతములు గమనించు చుండునని 374వ నామమున తెలుపబడినది. వారిని లోకసాక్షు లందురు.

వారికన్న క్రిందుగల లోకములను వారు సాక్షులై చూతురు. కాని వారిని కూడ గమనించునది, పరికించునది శ్రీమాత. క్రింది లోకములవారిని పై లోకములవారు దర్శించ గలరు. చీమ, దోమ, పురుగు మొదలగు జీవులు మనల నంతగ దర్శించవు. మనము వాటిని దర్శింతుము. అట్లే మనము దేవతల నంతగ దర్శింపము. కాని దేవతలు మనలను గమనించుచునే యున్నారు. వారు మనకన్న ఉన్నత లోకముల నున్నవారు. వారిలో కూడ శ్రేణులు గలవు.

🕉. మీరు మీ పట్ల బాధ్యత వహించడం ప్రారంభించినప్పుడు, మీరు మీ తప్పుడు ముఖాలను వదిలివేయడం ప్రారంభిస్తారు. మరికొందరు ఆందోళన చెందడం ప్రారంభిస్తారు, ఎందుకంటే వారు ఎల్లప్పుడూ అంచనాలను కలిగి ఉంటారు మరియు మీరు ఆ ఆకాంక్షలను నెరవేరుస్తూ వచ్చారు. కనుక ఇప్పుడు మీరు బాధ్యతారాహిత్యంగా మారుతున్నారని వారు భావిస్తారు. 🕉

🍀 211. IRRESPONSIBILITY 🍀

🕉. When you start becoming responsible toward yourself, you start dropping your false faces. Others start feeling disturbed, because they have always had expectations and you were fulfilling those demands. Now they feel that you are becoming irresponsible. 🕉

When say that you are being irresponsible, they are simply saying that you are getting out from under their domination. You are becoming freer. To condemn what you are doing, they call it "irresponsible." In fact, your freedom is growing. And you are becoming responsible, but responsibility means the ability to respond. It is not a duty that has to be fulfilled in the ordinary sense. It is responsiveness, a sensitivity.

But the more sensitive you become, the more you will find that many people think that you are becoming irresponsible-and you have to accept that-because their interests, their investments, will not be satisfied. Many times you will not fulfill their expectations, but nobody is here to fulfill anybody else's expectations. The basic responsibility is toward oneself. So a meditator first becomes very very selfish. But later on, when one has become more centered, rooted into one's own being, energy starts overflowing. But it is not a duty. It is not that one has to do it. One loves to do it; it is a sharing.

నారదుడిట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ దేవ దేవా! ప్రజాపతీ! విధీ! తరువాత ఏమాయెను? శివలీలలతో కూడిన వృత్తాంతమును దయతో ఇపుడు చెప్పుము (1).

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ మునీ! కృత్తికలు ఆ శివసుతుని తీసుకు వెళ్లిన తరువాత కొంత కాలము గడిచెను. కాని పార్వతికి ఏమియూ తెలియకుండెను (2). ఆ సమయములో చిరునవ్వుతో ప్రకాశించే ముఖపద్మము గల దుర్గ దేవదేవుడు, సర్వేశ్వరుడు అగు శంభు స్వామితో నిట్లనెను (3).

పార్వతి ఇట్లు పలికెను -

దేవదేవా! మహాదేవా! నా శుభవచనమును వినుము. ఓ ఈశ్వరా! అతిశయించిన పూర్వపుణ్యవిశేషముచే నీవు నాకు లభించినావు (4). యోగి శ్రేష్టుడవగు నీవు దయతో నాతో గలిసి విహారము నందు నిమగ్నమై యుండగా దేవతలు మన విహారమునకు భంగము కలిగించిరి. ఓ శివా! (5) విభో! నీ తేజస్సు నాలో ప్రవేశించలేదు. ఓ దేవా! ఆ తేజస్సు ఏమైనది? ఏ దేవత దానిని దాచినాడు? (6) మహేశ్వరా! అమోఘమగు నా స్వామి యొక్క తేజస్సు వ్యర్థమైనది. ఆ తేజస్సు శిశురూపమును దాల్చినదా?, అయినచో ఆ శిశువు ఎక్కడ? (7)

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ మునీశ్వరా! ఆ జగదీశ్వరుడు పార్వతి యొక్క మాటలను విని నవ్వి దేవతలను మరియు మునులను ఆహ్వానించి ఇట్లు పలికెను (8).

మహేశ్వరుడిట్లు పలికెను -

దేవతలారా! నా మాటను వినుడు. పార్వతి యొక్క ప్రశ్నను వింటిరి గదా! అమోఘమగు నా తేజస్సు నుండి జన్మించినన శిశువును దాచిన వారెవరు? (9) వెంటనే భయముతో సత్యమును వెల్లడించ లేకపోయిన వ్యక్తి దండమునకు అర్హుడు కాబోడు. దండించవలసిన వానిని ఏ రాజు దండించడో, ఏ రాజు ప్రజాధనమును భక్షించునో, వాడు ప్రజలచే బాధితుడగును (10). శంభుప్రభుని ఆ మాటలను విని పరస్పరము సంప్రదించు కొని వారందరు భయపడుతూ శంభుని ఎదుట వరుసగా నిట్లు పలికిరి(11).

1. O lord of people, O Brahmā, O lord of gods, what happened after that? Narrate it to me kindly besides the description of Śiva’s sports.

Brahmā said:—

2. O sage, after the son of Śiva had been taken over by the Krttikās some time elapsed but the daughter of Himavat had no knowledge of the same.

3. Meanwhile Pārvatī beaming with her lotus like face told her husband Śiva, the lord of the gods.

Pārvatī said:—

4. O lord of the gods, listen to my auspicious words. O lord, you have been attained by me, thanks to my previous merits.

5. Although you are the most excellent among the Yogins, O lord, you became desirous of dalliance. But my dalliance with you was interrupted in the middle by the gods.

6. O lord, your semen fell on the ground and not in my womb. Where did it go? Among the gods by whom could it have been concealed?

7. O lord, infallible is your semen, how can it be fruitless? Or has it developed into a child somewhere?

Brahmā said:—

8. O great sage, on hearing the words of Pārvatī, the lord of the universe called the gods and the sages and laughingly said to them.

Lord Śiva said:—

9. O gods, listen to my words. Has Pārvatī’s statement been heard by you? Where has my unfailing semen gone? By whom has it been concealed?

10. If he, out of fear, falls at my feet quickly he may not be punished. If a king, competent enough, does not rule firmly he will be harrassed by the subjects. He cannot be a protector.

Brahmā said:—

11. On hearing the words of Śiva and after consulting one another they replied one by one. They were so afraid of the great lord.

🌻. దీక్షా విధి - 2 🌻

ప్రద్యుమ్న మంత్రముతో కలిపి గరిటిచేత మెల్లగా ఎనపవలెను. ఉడికిన తరువాత, గురువు అనిరుద్ధమంత్రముతో దింపవలెను. ఆ పాత్రను కడిగి, నారాయణమంత్రముతో, భస్మచేత పాత్రకు ఊర్ధ్వపుండ్రము లుంచవలెను. ఈ విధముగ ఆ చరువును చక్కగా సంస్కరించవలెను.

ఒక భాగము దేవునకు, రెండవ భాగము కలశకు సమర్పించి, మూడవ భాగముచే మూడు ఆహుతులు చేయవలెను. నాల్గవ భగామును గురువు శిష్యులతో కూడా భుజించవలెను. క్షీరవృక్షమనుండి దంత కాష్ఠమును గ్రహించి, దానిని నారాయణ మంత్రముచే ఏడు సార్లు అభిమంత్రించి పవిత్రము చేసి, దానిని నమలి విడువవలెను. తన పాప మంతయు ఈశాన్యదిగభి ముఖముగా పడిపోయినట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. శుభ##మైన నరసింహమంత్రముతో నూరు సార్లు హోమము చేసి, ఆచమనము చేసి, పూజా గృహము ప్రవేశించి, తూర్పున విష్ణువును స్థాపించి ప్రదక్షిణము చేయవలెను.

"భక్తవత్సలుడవైన ఓదేవా! సంసార సముద్రమునందు మునిగి యున్న పశువుల పాపములను తొలగించుటకు నీ వొక్కడవేశరణము. ఓ! దేవదేవా! ప్రాకృతములైన పాశబంధనములచే బద్ధులైన ఈ పశువులను, నీ అనుగ్రహము వలన విముక్తులను చేసెదను. అనుజ్ఞఇమ్ము." అని విష్ణువును ప్రార్థించవలెను.

విష్ణువునకు ఈ విధముగా విజ్ఞాపన చేసి, పిమ్మట పశువులను ప్రవేశించి, పూర్వము చేప్పినట్లు ధారణలచేతను, జ్వలనాదికముచేతను సంశోధనముచేసి సంస్కరించి, మూర్తితో కలిపి, నేత్రములను బంధించి చూపవలెను. అచట పుష్పమములతో నిండిన దోసిళ్లను విసిరి, ఆ పేర్లను చేర్చవలెను. అచట వెనుకటివలె క్రమముగా మంత్రరహితముగా అర్చన చేయవలెను. పుష్పము ఏ మూర్తిపై పడునో ఆ మూర్తి యొక్క పేరు ఆతనికి పెట్టవలెను.

Chapter 27

🌻 Mode of performing the initiation rite - 2 🌻

12. After stirring it with the (basic syllable of) Pradyumna the worshipper has to mix it slowly with the ladle and then the cooked food is lifted with the (basic syllable of) Aniruddha.

13. Having washed him and besmearing (with sandals), the vertical mark is made on the forehead with the ashes. The food thus prepared well is placed by the side with the (basic syllable of) Nārāyaṇa.

14. A part of it has to be offered to the deity, the second part to the jar, and with the third part he should offer three oblations.

15-17. The preceptor has to partake of the fourth part in the company of his disciples for the sake of purification. Having consecrated seven times (the stick) got from the milky tree, the piece of wood for cleaning the tree being made use of and discarded and being conscious of one’s sins and having offered oblations to the hundred auspicious and most excellent lions lying in the north, northeast, east and southeast, having done the ācamana[4] and having entered the chamber of worship, the knower of the mystic syllables should assign ViṣṇU in the east and do circumambulation.

18. You are, alone, O Lord! the refuge of the beings immersed in the ocean of mundane existence, for the release from the fetters. You are always kind towards your worshippers.

19. “O Lord of Lords! (you) permit (me). (I will) free these beings by your grace from their earlier fetters by which they are bound”.

20-21. Having submitted thus to the lord of the celestials and having made the animals enter (the place), (they) have to be purified then by holding them as before and to be consecrated with the fire. Having yoked them with the deity their eyes should be closed. Their eyes are covered. Handful of flowers are offered there and their names are added.

22. Worship is made duly as before without reciting any basic syllable (mantra). That particular name of the idol on which the flower falls that is pointed out.

ప్రద్యుమ్న మంత్రముతో కలిపి గరిటిచేత మెల్లగా ఎనపవలెను. ఉడికిన తరువాత, గురువు అనిరుద్ధమంత్రముతో దింపవలెను. ఆ పాత్రను కడిగి, నారాయణమంత్రముతో, భస్మచేత పాత్రకు ఊర్ధ్వపుండ్రము లుంచవలెను. ఈ విధముగ ఆ చరువును చక్కగా సంస్కరించవలెను.

ఒక భాగము దేవునకు, రెండవ భాగము కలశకు సమర్పించి, మూడవ భాగముచే మూడు ఆహుతులు చేయవలెను. నాల్గవ భగామును గురువు శిష్యులతో కూడా భుజించవలెను. క్షీరవృక్షమనుండి దంత కాష్ఠమును గ్రహించి, దానిని నారాయణ మంత్రముచే ఏడు సార్లు అభిమంత్రించి పవిత్రము చేసి, దానిని నమలి విడువవలెను. తన పాప మంతయు ఈశాన్యదిగభి ముఖముగా పడిపోయినట్లు భావన చేయవలెను. శుభ##మైన నరసింహమంత్రముతో నూరు సార్లు హోమము చేసి, ఆచమనము చేసి, పూజా గృహము ప్రవేశించి, తూర్పున విష్ణువును స్థాపించి ప్రదక్షిణము చేయవలెను.

"భక్తవత్సలుడవైన ఓదేవా! సంసార సముద్రమునందు మునిగి యున్న పశువుల పాపములను తొలగించుటకు నీ వొక్కడవేశరణము. ఓ! దేవదేవా! ప్రాకృతములైన పాశబంధనములచే బద్ధులైన ఈ పశువులను, నీ అనుగ్రహము వలన విముక్తులను చేసెదను. అనుజ్ఞఇమ్ము." అని విష్ణువును ప్రార్థించవలెను.

విష్ణువునకు ఈ విధముగా విజ్ఞాపన చేసి, పిమ్మట పశువులను ప్రవేశించి, పూర్వము చేప్పినట్లు ధారణలచేతను, జ్వలనాదికముచేతను సంశోధనముచేసి సంస్కరించి, మూర్తితో కలిపి, నేత్రములను బంధించి చూపవలెను. అచట పుష్పమములతో నిండిన దోసిళ్లను విసిరి, ఆ పేర్లను చేర్చవలెను. అచట వెనుకటివలె క్రమముగా మంత్రరహితముగా అర్చన చేయవలెను. పుష్పము ఏ మూర్తిపై పడునో ఆ మూర్తి యొక్క పేరు ఆతనికి పెట్టవలెను.

*🌻 Mode of performing the initiation rite - 2 🌻*

12. After stirring it with the (basic syllable of) Pradyumna the worshipper has to mix it slowly with the ladle and then the cooked food is lifted with the (basic syllable of) Aniruddha.

13. Having washed him and besmearing (with sandals), the vertical mark is made on the forehead with the ashes. The food thus prepared well is placed by the side with the (basic syllable of) Nārāyaṇa.

14. A part of it has to be offered to the deity, the second part to the jar, and with the third part he should offer three oblations.

15-17. The preceptor has to partake of the fourth part in the company of his disciples for the sake of purification. Having consecrated seven times (the stick) got from the milky tree, the piece of wood for cleaning the tree being made use of and discarded and being conscious of one’s sins and having offered oblations to the hundred auspicious and most excellent lions lying in the north, northeast, east and southeast, having done the ācamana[4] and having entered the chamber of worship, the knower of the mystic syllables should assign ViṣṇU in the east and do circumambulation.

18. You are, alone, O Lord! the refuge of the beings immersed in the ocean of mundane existence, for the release from the fetters. You are always kind towards your worshippers.

19. “O Lord of Lords! (you) permit (me). (I will) free these beings by your grace from their earlier fetters by which they are bound”.

20-21. Having submitted thus to the lord of the celestials and having made the animals enter (the place), (they) have to be purified then by holding them as before and to be consecrated with the fire. Having yoked them with the deity their eyes should be closed. Their eyes are covered. Handful of flowers are offered there and their names are added.

22. Worship is made duly as before without reciting any basic syllable (mantra). That particular name of the idol on which the flower falls that is pointed out.

ఓ దేవ దేవా! ప్రజాపతీ! విధీ! తరువాత ఏమాయెను? శివలీలలతో కూడిన వృత్తాంతమును దయతో ఇపుడు చెప్పుము (1).

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ మునీ! కృత్తికలు ఆ శివసుతుని తీసుకు వెళ్లిన తరువాత కొంత కాలము గడిచెను. కాని పార్వతికి ఏమియూ తెలియకుండెను (2). ఆ సమయములో చిరునవ్వుతో ప్రకాశించే ముఖపద్మము గల దుర్గ దేవదేవుడు, సర్వేశ్వరుడు అగు శంభు స్వామితో నిట్లనెను (3).

పార్వతి ఇట్లు పలికెను -

దేవదేవా! మహాదేవా! నా శుభవచనమును వినుము. ఓ ఈశ్వరా! అతిశయించిన పూర్వపుణ్యవిశేషముచే నీవు నాకు లభించినావు (4). యోగి శ్రేష్టుడవగు నీవు దయతో నాతో గలిసి విహారము నందు నిమగ్నమై యుండగా దేవతలు మన విహారమునకు భంగము కలిగించిరి. ఓ శివా! (5) విభో! నీ తేజస్సు నాలో ప్రవేశించలేదు. ఓ దేవా! ఆ తేజస్సు ఏమైనది? ఏ దేవత దానిని దాచినాడు? (6) మహేశ్వరా! అమోఘమగు నా స్వామి యొక్క తేజస్సు వ్యర్థమైనది. ఆ తేజస్సు శిశురూపమును దాల్చినదా?, అయినచో ఆ శిశువు ఎక్కడ? (7)

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఓ మునీశ్వరా! ఆ జగదీశ్వరుడు పార్వతి యొక్క మాటలను విని నవ్వి దేవతలను మరియు మునులను ఆహ్వానించి ఇట్లు పలికెను (8).

మహేశ్వరుడిట్లు పలికెను -

దేవతలారా! నా మాటను వినుడు. పార్వతి యొక్క ప్రశ్నను వింటిరి గదా! అమోఘమగు నా తేజస్సు నుండి జన్మించినన శిశువును దాచిన వారెవరు? (9) వెంటనే భయముతో సత్యమును వెల్లడించ లేకపోయిన వ్యక్తి దండమునకు అర్హుడు కాబోడు. దండించవలసిన వానిని ఏ రాజు దండించడో, ఏ రాజు ప్రజాధనమును భక్షించునో, వాడు ప్రజలచే బాధితుడగును (10). శంభుప్రభుని ఆ మాటలను విని పరస్పరము సంప్రదించు కొని వారందరు భయపడుతూ శంభుని ఎదుట వరుసగా నిట్లు పలికిరి(11).

2. O sage, after the son of Śiva had been taken over by the Krttikās some time elapsed but the daughter of Himavat had no knowledge of the same.

3. Meanwhile Pārvatī beaming with her lotus like face told her husband Śiva, the lord of the gods.

Pārvatī said:—

4. O lord of the gods, listen to my auspicious words. O lord, you have been attained by me, thanks to my previous merits.

5. Although you are the most excellent among the Yogins, O lord, you became desirous of dalliance. But my dalliance with you was interrupted in the middle by the gods.

6. O lord, your semen fell on the ground and not in my womb. Where did it go? Among the gods by whom could it have been concealed?

7. O lord, infallible is your semen, how can it be fruitless? Or has it developed into a child somewhere?

Brahmā said:—

8. O great sage, on hearing the words of Pārvatī, the lord of the universe called the gods and the sages and laughingly said to them.

Lord Śiva said:—

9. O gods, listen to my words. Has Pārvatī’s statement been heard by you? Where has my unfailing semen gone? By whom has it been concealed?

10. If he, out of fear, falls at my feet quickly he may not be punished. If a king, competent enough, does not rule firmly he will be harrassed by the subjects. He cannot be a protector.

Brahmā said:—

11. On hearing the words of Śiva and after consulting one another they replied one by one. They were so afraid of the great lord.

*కానీ మీరు ఎంత సున్నితంగా మారితే, అంతగా మీరు బాధ్యతారాహిత్యంగా మారుతున్నారని చాలా మంది భావిస్తారని మీరు కనుగొంటారు. మీరు దానిని అంగీకరించాలి-ఎందుకంటే వారి ఆసక్తులు, వారి పెట్టుబడులు సంతృప్తి చెందవు. చాలా సార్లు మీరు వారి అంచనాలను నెరవేర్చలేరు, కానీ ఎవరి అంచనాలను నెరవేర్చడానికి ఇక్కడ ఎవరూ లేరు. ప్రాథమిక బాధ్యత తన పట్ల తనకు ఉంది. కాబట్టి ధ్యానం చేసేవాడు మొదట చాలా స్వార్థపరుడు అవుతాడు. కానీ తరువాత, ఒకరు మరింత కేంద్రీకృతమై, ఒకరి స్వంత జీవిలో పాతుకు పోయినప్పుడు, శక్తి పొంగి పొర్లడం ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. కానీ అది విధి కాదు. ఇది చేయవలసింది అని కాదు కానీ ఒకరు దీన్ని ఇష్టపడతారు; అది ఒక భాగస్వామ్యం.*

*🕉. When you start becoming responsible toward yourself, you start dropping your false faces. Others start feeling disturbed, because they have always had expectations and you were fulfilling those demands. Now they feel that you are becoming irresponsible. 🕉*

 

*When say that you are being irresponsible, they are simply saying that you are getting out from under their domination. You are becoming freer. To condemn what you are doing, they call it "irresponsible." In fact, your freedom is growing. And you are becoming responsible, but responsibility means the ability to respond. It is not a duty that has to be fulfilled in the ordinary sense. It is responsiveness, a sensitivity.*

*But the more sensitive you become, the more you will find that many people think that you are becoming irresponsible-and you have to accept that-because their interests, their investments, will not be satisfied. Many times you will not fulfill their expectations, but nobody is here to fulfill anybody else's expectations. The basic responsibility is toward oneself. So a meditator first becomes very very selfish. But later on, when one has become more centered, rooted into one's own being, energy starts overflowing. But it is not a duty. It is not that one has to do it. One loves to do it; it is a sharing.*

*వారికన్న క్రిందుగల లోకములను వారు సాక్షులై చూతురు. కాని వారిని కూడ గమనించునది, పరికించునది శ్రీమాత. క్రింది లోకములవారిని పై లోకములవారు దర్శించ గలరు. చీమ, దోమ, పురుగు మొదలగు జీవులు మనల నంతగ దర్శించవు. మనము వాటిని దర్శింతుము. అట్లే మనము దేవతల నంతగ దర్శింపము. కాని దేవతలు మనలను గమనించుచునే యున్నారు. వారు మనకన్న ఉన్నత లోకముల నున్నవారు. వారిలో కూడ శ్రేణులు గలవు.*

🍀. జనం మంచి మంచి మాటలు వింటారు, అభినందిస్తారు. కానీ అర్థం చేసుకోరు. ఎక్కడ బుద్ధిహీనత, రాజకీయం వున్నాయో అక్కడ జీవితమంతా మొదటి స్థానంలో వుండడానికి ఆరాటపడని వాళు ధన్యులు.🍀

పిల్లలు పెద్దల్నించీ నేర్చుకుంటారు. పెద్దలేం చేస్తే పిల్లల్లలది చేస్తారు. మన పిల్లలు హత్యలు, ఆత్మహత్యలు, దొంగతనాలు, దోపిడీలు చూపే టీవీలు చూస్తున్నారు. 'తెలుసుకుంటున్నారు' దౌర్జన్యాన్ని చూసి దౌర్జన్యం నేర్చుకుంటున్నారు. అక్కడ చూసేదంతా బాహ్యమయినది. లోపలికి చూసేది కాదు. మహాత్ములు మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ దైవం నీలోనే వుంది అన్నారు. వారి వారి అనుయాయూలు కూడా దాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోలేదు. ఎంత తెలివి తక్కువతనం.

Beauty is the characteristic of that object which exactly fits in as a counterpart of the lack in the mind of a person. There is a kind of lacuna in the mind, and the exact counterpart of it is the beauty of the object. It is a purely psychological question. There is a particular lacuna in the mental structure of a person which keeps that person restless, unhappy, etc. Though everyone is unhappy in some way, the cause of that unhappiness is not uniform in all cases. The restlessness and unhappiness may be caused by different factors in the case of different persons, and a corresponding object must be presented before that particular type of mind in order that it may be made to feel happy.

What looks beautiful to me may not look beautiful to you. People sometimes get attracted even to ugly things. What you may consider as ugly and uninteresting may be an attractive thing for another person, because he/she is in a different kind of mental make-up. Each one has to find out what it is that attracts. Unless you are hungry, the food will not be satisfying. Your particular kind of hunger will determine the kind of diet that you need.

*అంతరంగమందే మనస్సు సంలగ్నమై సందేహముల నుండి ఉత్పన్నమైనట్టి ద్వంద్వములకు పరమైనవారును, సర్వజీవహితము కొరకే పనిచేయువారును, సర్వపాపదూరులైనవారును అగు ఋషులే బ్రహ్మనిర్వాణమును పొందుదురు.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

కృష్ణభక్తిభావనాపూర్ణుడే వాస్తవమునాకు సర్వజీవుల హితకార్యమునందు నియుక్తుడైనవాడని చెప్పబడును. శ్రీకృష్ణుడే సర్వమునకు మూలకారణమనెడి నిజజ్ఞానమును కలిగి తద్భావానలో వర్తించినప్పుడు మనుజుడు సర్వుల హితార్థమై వర్తించినవాడగును. శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు దివ్యభోక్త, దివ్యయజమాని, పరమమిత్రుడు అనెడి విషయమును మరచుటయే మానవుల దుఃఖమునకు కారణమై యున్నది. 

కనుక మానవుల యందు ఈ చైతన్యమును జాగృతము చేయుటకై వర్తించుట వాస్తవమునకు అత్యంత ఘనమైన హితకార్యమై యున్నది. బ్రహ్మనిర్వాణమును బడయనిదే ఎవ్వరును అట్టి శ్రేష్ఠమైన క్షేమకరకార్యము నొనరింపలేరు. కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావనాయుతుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని దేవదేవత్వమున ఎట్టి సందేహమును కలిగియుండడు. అతడు సంపూర్ణముగా పాపదూరుడై యుండుటయే అందులకు కారణము. అదియే దివ్యమైన ప్రేమస్థితి.

మానవుల యొక్క కేవల బాహ్యక్షేమమును చూచుట యందు మాత్రమే నియుక్తుడైనవాడు వాస్తవమునకు ఎవారికినీ హితమును గూర్చలేడు. మనస్సు, దేహములకు కూర్చబడు తాత్కాలిక ఉపశమనము నిత్యతృప్తిని ఎన్నడును కూర్చలేదు. జీవనసంఘర్షణ మందలి కష్టములకు నిజమైన కారణము శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానునితో గల సంబంధమును జీవుడు మరచుటయే. తనకు శ్రీకృష్ణుతోతో గల నిత్యసంబంధమును మనుజుడు సంపూర్ణముగా అవగతము చేసికొనినప్పుడు భౌతికజగమునందు ఉన్నప్పటికిని అతడు ముక్తపురుషుడే కాగలడు.

🌷 Translation : 

*Those who are beyond the dualities that arise from doubts, whose minds are engaged within, who are always busy working for the welfare of all living beings and who are free from all sins achieve liberation in the Supreme.*

🌹 Purport :

Only a person who is fully in Kṛṣṇa consciousness can be said to be engaged in welfare work for all living entities. When a person is actually in the knowledge that Kṛṣṇa is the fountainhead of everything, then when he acts in that spirit he acts for everyone. The sufferings of humanity are due to forgetfulness of Kṛṣṇa as the supreme enjoyer, the supreme proprietor and the supreme friend. Therefore, to act to revive this consciousness within the entire human society is the highest welfare work. One cannot be engaged in such first-class welfare work without being liberated in the Supreme. A Kṛṣṇa conscious person has no doubt about the supremacy of Kṛṣṇa. He has no doubt because he is completely freed from all sins. This is the state of divine love.

A person engaged only in ministering to the physical welfare of human society cannot factually help anyone. Temporary relief of the external body and the mind is not satisfactory. The real cause of one’s difficulties in the hard struggle for life may be found in one’s forgetfulness of his relationship with the Supreme Lord. When a man is fully conscious of his relationship with Kṛṣṇa, he is actually a liberated soul, although he may be in the material tabernacle.

There is a particular lacuna in the mental structure of a person which keeps that person restless, unhappy, etc. Though everyone is unhappy in some way, the cause of that unhappiness is not uniform in all cases. The restlessness and unhappiness may be caused by different factors in the case of different persons, and a corresponding object must be presented before that particular type of mind in order that it may be made to feel happy.*

*పిల్లలు పెద్దల్నించీ నేర్చుకుంటారు. పెద్దలేం చేస్తే పిల్లల్లలది చేస్తారు. మన పిల్లలు హత్యలు, ఆత్మహత్యలు, దొంగతనాలు, దోపిడీలు చూపే టీవీలు చూస్తున్నారు. Each child is a meeting of the sky and the earth. Each child is a miracle. Something happens that should not ordinarily happen: the meeting of matter and consciousness, the meeting of the visible and the invisible. So think of each child as a miracle. Respect, children, revere them; don't take them for granted. The moment we take a child for granted, we start murdering him or her. And each child is murdered; that's what is happening all over the world and has happened through the ages: it has been a great massacre. It is not only that Herod killed all the children in Israel, it is happening every day; it was happening before Herod, and it has been happening since him.

Each child passes through a psychic murder; the moment the child is not respected and is thought to belong to you like a possession, the child has been killed, effaced. The child has to be respected as a God, because the child is the coming of God into the world again. Each child is a statement from God that he is not yet tired, that he is not yet weary of humankind, that he still hopes, that he will continue to create new human beings, whatever 'we become. Sinners and saints, whatever we do, he still hopes that the real human being will be created. God has not failed yet! That is the declaration in each child's coming onto the earth, into existence.

🌻. కార్తికేయుని లీలలు - 3 🌻

బాలకుడు, కుమారుడను పేరు గలవాడు, సూర్యుని కంటె అధిక తేజశ్శాలి యగు ఆ శివపుత్రుని వారు పాలు కావలసినపుడు స్తన్యము నిచ్చి పెంచిరి (32). ఓ కుమారా! వారు తమ కళ్ల ఎదుట నుండి ఆ బాలకుడు క్షణమైననూ మరుగు కాని విధముగా పెంచిరి. ఆ బాలుని ఎవరు పెంచితే వారికి అతడు ప్రాణములకంటె అధిక ప్రేమాస్పదుడయ్యెను (33).

వారు ఆ బాలకునకు ముల్లోకములలో దుర్లభమగు వస్త్రములను, శ్రేష్ఠములగు ఆభరణములను ప్రేమతో నిచ్చిరి (34). మహా ప్రభుడగు ఆ బాలకునకు వారు ప్రశంసార్హములు, రుచ్యములు అగు పదార్థములను శ్రద్ధతో భుజింపజేసి దిన దిన ప్రవర్ధమానుడగునట్లు పోషించిరి (35).

కుమారా! తరువాత ఒకనాడు కృత్తికా పుత్రుడగు ఆ బాలుడు దేవసభకు వెళ్లి చక్కని వృత్తాంతమును ఘటిల్ల జేసెను (36). గొప్పలీలలను ప్రదర్శించే ఆ బాలకుడు విష్ణువుతో కూడియున్న దేవలందరికీ తన మహిమను చూపెను (37). అచ్యుతునితో మరియు ఋషులతో గూడియున్న దేవతలు గొప్ప ఆశ్చర్యమును పొంది ఆ బాలకుని ప్రశ్నించిరి (38).

నీవెవరివి? అని వారు ప్రశ్నించగా ఆతడేమియూ పలుకకుండగా వెంటనే తన నివాసమునకు వెళ్లి పూర్వమువలెనే రహస్యముగా నుండెను (39).

శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణములోని రుద్ర సంహితయందు కుమార ఖండలో కార్తికేయుని లీలలు అనే మూడవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (3).

32-33. Realising his desire, the Kṛttikās, O sage, took him to their region joyously. Feeding him with their breast milk they nursed and nurtured Śiva’s son who was more refulgent than the sun.

34. They never let him go out of their sight. He became the object of their love, dearer to them than their own lives. Verily he who nurses and nurtures the child has the right of possession over the son.[3]

35. With great love they gave him the rarest garments and excellent ornaments in the three worlds.

36. Feeding him specially on the choicest delicacies day by day they brought up the boy prodigy.

37. O dear, once that son of the Krttikās went to the celestial assembly and showed wonderful feats.

38. The boy of wonderful miracles showed his rare splendour to the gods including Viṣṇu.

39-40. On seeing him, the gods and sages including Viṣṇu became surprised and asked the boy “Pray, who are you?” On hearing it he did not say anything in reply. He returned to his abode and remained concealed as before.

🌻. దీక్షా విధి - 1 🌻

నారుదుడు పలికెను. :

అన్ని ఫలములను ఇచ్చు దీక్షను చెప్పదను. మండలమునందలి పద్మమునందు హరిని పూజించవలెను. దశమి యందు సమస్తమైన యాగద్రవ్యములను సమకూర్చుకొని, అచట ఉంచి, 'ఫట్‌' అనునది అంతమునందు గల నారసింహా మంత్రముచేత ఆవాంను నూరు పర్యాయములు అభిమంత్రించి, వాటిని నలుమూలల చల్లవలెను.

అచట సర్వాత్మికయు, ప్రాసాదరూపిణియు అగు శక్తిని నిలుపవలెను. సాధకుడు శుభ మైన పాత్రయందు సమస్తౌషధును ఉంచి నూరు పర్యాయములు వాసుదేవమంత్రముచే వికిరములను అభిమంత్రించవలెను. పంచగవ్యమును నారాయణాన్తములైన ఐదు మూలమూర్తులచే సంపాదించుకొని, దానిచే ఆ భూమిని కుశాగ్రములతో సంప్రోక్షించి, వాసుదేవ మంత్రముచే చిమ్ముచు, వెల్లిగితం ఉంచబడిన హస్తుముతో మూడు పర్యాయములు విసిరివేయవలెను. తూర్పుగా తిరిగి విష్ణువును మనస్సులో ధ్యానించవలెను. వర్ధనితో కూడిన కుంభమునందు అంగసహితుడగు విష్ణువును పూజింపవలెను.

వర్ధనిని అస్త్రముచేతనే నూరు పర్యాయములు అభిమంత్రించి, భిన్నము కాని ధారతో తడుపుచు ఈశాన్యదిక్కు వరకును తీసికొని వెళ్ళవలెను.

కలశమును వెనుకనుంచి తీసికొని వెళ్ళి వికిరములపై స్థాపించవలెను. వికిరములను దర్భలచేత పోగుచేసి కుంభేశుని కర్కరిని పూజింపవలెను.

వస్త్రములతోడను పంచరత్నములతోడను కూడిన విష్ణువును స్థండిలముపై పూజించవలెను. అగ్నియందు కూడ పూజించి, పూర్వమునందు వలె మంత్రములను జపించి, పాత్రను కడిగి, మంచి సువాసన గల పద్మములచే లోపల తుడిచి, నేతితోను, గోక్షీరముతోను నింపి, వాసుదేవమంత్రముతో దానివైపు చూచి, పిమ్మట సంకర్షణమంత్రముతో, సంస్కృతమైన క్షీరములో నెయ్యి పూసిన తండులమును పోయవలెను.

Chapter 27

🌻 Mode of performing the initiation rite - 1 🌻

Nārada said:

1-2. I shall describe the initiation rite, which yields everything. Hari should be worshipped in the lotus in a circle. Having gathered the articles (required) for the sacrifice on the tenth (lunar) day, assigning and consecrating hundred times with the (basic syllables) of the man-lion (Narasiṃha) (form), one should scatter on all sides the mustard seeds, destructive of demons, ending (the act) with the syllable phaṭ.

3. The female energy, contained in every being, in the form of grace is assigned there. Having collected all the herbs and spread, they are consecrated.

4. A worshipper has to accomplish the five products[1] of the cow hundred times in pure vessels by means of the five basic forms.

5. Having sprinkled the earth (with the basic syllable) ending with (the word) Nārāyaṇa, with the tips of kuśa (grass), those scattered (things) are thrown with the raised hand with the (basic syllable of) Vāsudeva.

6. Then standing with the face facing the east one has to meditate on Viṣṇu in the heart. One has to worship Viṣṇu in the waterpot along with the vardhanī[2].

7. Having recited hundred times the sacred syllables for the weapon and having sprinkled the Vardhanī (vessel) with a continuous shower (of water) it should be taken to the northeast quarter.

8. Taking the jar on his back one has to place it on the scattered (mustard seeds). Then having gathered them by means. of the Kuśa (grass) one has to adore the presiding deity of the jar and the karkarī[3].

9. One has to worship Hari adorned with clothes (and) five jewels, on a piece of ground (made ready), offering oblations to fire (for his sake) and reciting the sacred syllables, as before.

10. Sprinkling with a lotus and anointing with unguents the worshipper has to fill the boiling vessel with clarified butter and cow’s milk.

11. Having looked at it with the Vāsudeva and the Saṅgharṣaṇa (basic syllables), rice mixed with clarified butter should be thrown into milk well-cooked.

*🌻. దీక్షా విధి - 1 🌻*

నారుదుడు పలికెను. :

అన్ని ఫలములను ఇచ్చు దీక్షను చెప్పదను. మండలమునందలి పద్మమునందు హరిని పూజించవలెను. దశమి యందు సమస్తమైన యాగద్రవ్యములను సమకూర్చుకొని, అచట ఉంచి, 'ఫట్‌' అనునది అంతమునందు గల నారసింహా మంత్రముచేత ఆవాంను నూరు పర్యాయములు అభిమంత్రించి, వాటిని నలుమూలల చల్లవలెను.

అచట సర్వాత్మికయు, ప్రాసాదరూపిణియు అగు శక్తిని నిలుపవలెను. సాధకుడు శుభ మైన పాత్రయందు సమస్తౌషధును ఉంచి నూరు పర్యాయములు వాసుదేవమంత్రముచే వికిరములను అభిమంత్రించవలెను. పంచగవ్యమును నారాయణాన్తములైన ఐదు మూలమూర్తులచే సంపాదించుకొని, దానిచే ఆ భూమిని కుశాగ్రములతో సంప్రోక్షించి, వాసుదేవ మంత్రముచే చిమ్ముచు, వెల్లిగితం ఉంచబడిన హస్తుముతో మూడు పర్యాయములు విసిరివేయవలెను. తూర్పుగా తిరిగి విష్ణువును మనస్సులో ధ్యానించవలెను. వర్ధనితో కూడిన కుంభమునందు అంగసహితుడగు విష్ణువును పూజింపవలెను.

వర్ధనిని అస్త్రముచేతనే నూరు పర్యాయములు అభిమంత్రించి, భిన్నము కాని ధారతో తడుపుచు ఈశాన్యదిక్కు వరకును తీసికొని వెళ్ళవలెను.

కలశమును వెనుకనుంచి తీసికొని వెళ్ళి వికిరములపై స్థాపించవలెను. వికిరములను దర్భలచేత పోగుచేసి కుంభేశుని కర్కరిని పూజింపవలెను.

వస్త్రములతోడను పంచరత్నములతోడను కూడిన విష్ణువును స్థండిలముపై పూజించవలెను. అగ్నియందు కూడ పూజించి, పూర్వమునందు వలె మంత్రములను జపించి, పాత్రను కడిగి, మంచి సువాసన గల పద్మములచే లోపల తుడిచి, నేతితోను, గోక్షీరముతోను నింపి, వాసుదేవమంత్రముతో దానివైపు చూచి, పిమ్మట సంకర్షణమంత్రముతో, సంస్కృతమైన క్షీరములో నెయ్యి పూసిన తండులమును పోయవలెను.

*🌻 Mode of performing the initiation rite - 1 🌻*

Nārada said:

1-2. I shall describe the initiation rite, which yields everything. Hari should be worshipped in the lotus in a circle. Having gathered the articles (required) for the sacrifice on the tenth (lunar) day, assigning and consecrating hundred times with the (basic syllables) of the man-lion (Narasiṃha) (form), one should scatter on all sides the mustard seeds, destructive of demons, ending (the act) with the syllable phaṭ.

3. The female energy, contained in every being, in the form of grace is assigned there. Having collected all the herbs and spread, they are consecrated.

4. A worshipper has to accomplish the five products[1] of the cow hundred times in pure vessels by means of the five basic forms.

5. Having sprinkled the earth (with the basic syllable) ending with (the word) Nārāyaṇa, with the tips of kuśa (grass), those scattered (things) are thrown with the raised hand with the (basic syllable of) Vāsudeva.

6. Then standing with the face facing the east one has to meditate on Viṣṇu in the heart. One has to worship Viṣṇu in the waterpot along with the vardhanī[2].

7. Having recited hundred times the sacred syllables for the weapon and having sprinkled the Vardhanī (vessel) with a continuous shower (of water) it should be taken to the northeast quarter.

8. Taking the jar on his back one has to place it on the scattered (mustard seeds). Then having gathered them by means. of the Kuśa (grass) one has to adore the presiding deity of the jar and the karkarī[3].

9. One has to worship Hari adorned with clothes (and) five jewels, on a piece of ground (made ready), offering oblations to fire (for his sake) and reciting the sacred syllables, as before.

10. Sprinkling with a lotus and anointing with unguents the worshipper has to fill the boiling vessel with clarified butter and cow’s milk.

11. Having looked at it with the Vāsudeva and the Saṅgharṣaṇa (basic syllables), rice mixed with clarified butter should be thrown into milk well-cooked.

బాలకుడు, కుమారుడను పేరు గలవాడు, సూర్యుని కంటె అధిక తేజశ్శాలి యగు ఆ శివపుత్రుని వారు పాలు కావలసినపుడు స్తన్యము నిచ్చి పెంచిరి (32). ఓ కుమారా! వారు తమ కళ్ల ఎదుట నుండి ఆ బాలకుడు క్షణమైననూ మరుగు కాని విధముగా పెంచిరి. ఆ బాలుని ఎవరు పెంచితే వారికి అతడు ప్రాణములకంటె అధిక ప్రేమాస్పదుడయ్యెను (33). 

వారు ఆ బాలకునకు ముల్లోకములలో దుర్లభమగు వస్త్రములను, శ్రేష్ఠములగు ఆభరణములను ప్రేమతో నిచ్చిరి (34). మహా ప్రభుడగు ఆ బాలకునకు వారు ప్రశంసార్హములు, రుచ్యములు అగు పదార్థములను శ్రద్ధతో భుజింపజేసి దిన దిన ప్రవర్ధమానుడగునట్లు పోషించిరి (35).

కుమారా! తరువాత ఒకనాడు కృత్తికా పుత్రుడగు ఆ బాలుడు దేవసభకు వెళ్లి చక్కని వృత్తాంతమును ఘటిల్ల జేసెను (36). గొప్పలీలలను ప్రదర్శించే ఆ బాలకుడు విష్ణువుతో కూడియున్న దేవలందరికీ తన మహిమను చూపెను (37). అచ్యుతునితో మరియు ఋషులతో గూడియున్న దేవతలు గొప్ప ఆశ్చర్యమును పొంది ఆ బాలకుని ప్రశ్నించిరి (38). 

నీవెవరివి? అని వారు ప్రశ్నించగా ఆతడేమియూ పలుకకుండగా వెంటనే తన నివాసమునకు వెళ్లి పూర్వమువలెనే రహస్యముగా నుండెను (39).

శ్రీ శివమహాపురాణములోని రుద్ర సంహితయందు కుమార ఖండలో కార్తికేయుని లీలలు అనే మూడవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (3).

36. Feeding him specially on the choicest delicacies day by day they brought up the boy prodigy.

37. O dear, once that son of the Krttikās went to the celestial assembly and showed wonderful feats.

38. The boy of wonderful miracles showed his rare splendour to the gods including Viṣṇu.

39-40. On seeing him, the gods and sages including Viṣṇu became surprised and asked the boy “Pray, who are you?” On hearing it he did not say anything in reply. He returned to his abode and remained concealed as before.

Something happens that should not ordinarily happen: the meeting of matter and consciousness, the meeting of the visible and the invisible. So think of each child as a miracle. Respect, children, revere them; don't take them for granted. The moment we take a child for granted, we start murdering him or her. And each child is murdered; that's what is happening all over the world and has happened through the ages: it has been a great massacre. It is not only that Herod killed all the children in Israel, it is happening every day; it was happening before Herod, and it has been happening since him.*

*Each child passes through a psychic murder; the moment the child is not respected and is thought to belong to you like a possession, the child has been killed, effaced. The child has to be respected as a God, because the child is the coming of God into the world again.
