*దేవదానవులు పాల సముద్రమును మధించినప్పుడు అమృతం జనించిన శుభ ముహూర్త దినం ఈ విజయ దశమి రోజే అని తెలియచేయ బడింది . 'శ్రవణా' నక్షత్రంతో కలిసిన ఆశ్వయుజ దశమికి "విజయ"అనే సంకేతమున్నది. అందుకనే దీనికి 'విజయ దశమి' అను పేరు వచ్చినది. ఏ పనైనా తిధి ,వారము తారా బలము , గ్రహాబలము ముహూర్తము మున్నగునవి విచారించకుండా, విజయదశమి నాడు చేపట్టినచో ఆ కార్యమున విజయము తధ్యము .'చతుర్వర్గ చింతామణి 'అనే ఉద్గ్రందము ఆశ్వయుజ శుక్లదశమి నాటి నక్షత్రోదయ వేళనే 'విజయం ' అని తెలిపి యున్నది . ఈ పవిత్ర సమయము సకలవాంచితార్ద సాధకమైనదని గురు వాక్యము.*
*విజయదశమి పండుగ అపరాజిత పేరు మీద వస్తుంది. పరాజయం లేకుండా విజయాన్ని సాధించేది కాబట్టి, విజయదశమి అయింది. పాండవులు శమీ వృక్ష రూపమున ఉన్న అపరాజిత దేవి ఆశీస్సులు పొంది కౌరవులపై విజయము సాదించారు . "శ్రీ రాముడు" విజయదశమి రోజున ఈ 'అపరాజితా' దేవిని పూజించి రావణుని సంహరించి, విజయము పొందినాడు. విజయదశమి రోజు పరాజయం లేని అపరాజితాదేవిని .. శ్రీచక్ర అధిష్టాన దేవత... షోడశ మహావిద్యా స్వరూపిణి అయిన శ్రీ విజయదుర్గను ... శ్రీ రాజరాజేశ్వరీదేవిని ఎవరైతే పూజిస్తారో! వారందరికీ ఖచ్చితంగా విజయం లభిస్తుంది. అమ్మవారు పరమశాంత స్వరూపంతో, సమస్త నిత్యామ్నయ పరివార సమేతంగా, మహా కామేశ్వరుడుని అంకంగా చేసుకొని, ఆది పరాశక్తి... రాజరాజేశ్వరి దేవిగా శాంత స్వరూపంతో చిరునవ్వులు చిందిస్తూ, చెరకుగడను (ఇక్షుఖండం) ధరించి, ఒక చేతితో అభయ ముద్రతో దర్శనమిస్తుంది. మణిద్వీప వర్ణనలో "శ్రీపురంలో చింతామణి "అనే గృహంలో నివసిస్తూ ఉంటుంది. చెడుపై సాధించే విజయమే విజయదశమి. ముఖ్యంగా మన మనసులో ఉన్న చెడు ప్రవర్తన మార్చుకుని (చెడుపై సాధించిన విజయంగా..) విజయదేవిని, విజయదశమి రోజు పూజిస్తే సర్వ శుభాలూ కలుగుతాయి. ఈమె ఆది ప్రకృతి స్వరూపిణి. దుర్గాదేవి వివిధ కల్పాలలో, వివిధ రూపాలు ధరించి నానా దుష్టజనులని సహకరించి, లోకాలకి ఆనందం కలిగించింది. మహిమాన్విత అయిన శ్రీచక్ర అధిష్టాన దేవతయే... లలితా దేవతయే... శ్రీరాజరాజేశ్వరీ దేవి. ఈ తల్లి నివాసం "శ్రీమణిద్వీప -- శ్రీనగర స్థిత -- చింతామణి గృహం". ఈ తల్లి ఎక్కడ నివసిస్తుందో! అక్కడ అన్నీ శుభాలే!!!*
*🍀. దసరా సాధనాపర విశిష్టత 🍀*
*దసరా అంటే ఏమిటి ? మనలో ఉన్న పంచ జ్ఞాన, పంచ కర్మేన్ద్రియాలైన దశ ఇంద్రియాలు- దోపిడీ, హింస, స్త్రీ వ్యామోహం, లోభం, వంచన, పరుష వాక్కు, అసత్యం, పరనింద, చాడీ చెప్పటం, అధికార దుర్వినియోగం అనే దశ అంటే పది పాపపు పనులు చేస్తాయి. ఈ పది రకాల పాపాలు హరి౦చటానికి జగన్మాతను కొలిచే పండగనే "దశ హర" అంటారు. అదే దసరా గా మారింది. బాల్య, యవ్వన, కౌమార వార్ధక్య౦ 4 దశలు దాటి పోవాలంటే జన్మ రాహిత్య స్థితి పొందాలి. ఈ జన్మ రాహిత్య స్థితిని పొందటానికి , మానవ జన్మల దశలను హరి౦చ మని శ్రీ దేవిని నవరాత్రులు ఆరాధించటమే దశహరా – దసరా. పరుషంగా మాట్లాడటం, అబద్ధాలు చెప్పటం, అసంబద్ధమైన మాటలు మాట్లాడటం, సమాజం వినలేని మాటలు మాట్లాడటం – ఈ నాలుగు రకాల పాపాలు మాటల ద్వారా చేసేవి. తనది కాని ధనము, వస్తువులపై వ్యామోహం కలిగి ఉండటం, ఇతరులకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగించే పనులను చేయటం, ఇతరులకు చెడు చేయాలనుకోవడం ఈ మూడు మానసికంగా చేసే పాపాలు. అర్హత లేని వానికి దానాన్ని ఇవ్వడం, శాస్త్రము ఒప్పని హింసను చేయడం, పర స్త్రీని లేదా పురుషున్ని స్వీకరించడం ఈ మూడు శరీరంతో చేసే పాపాలు. మొత్తం ఇవి పది పాపాలు. ఈ పది పాపాల నుండి విముక్తిని ప్రసాదించి, మనందరి జీవితాలు సుఖసంతోషాలతో, సకల ఐశ్వర్యాలతో ఉండేలా చేయమని దుర్గామాతను వేడుకోవాలి.*

*Vijayadasami festival comes in the name of Aparajita. It is Vijayadasami because it means victory without defeat. The Pandavas won the victory over the Kauravas with the blessings of the invincible Goddess Aparajita Devi in the form of Shami vruksha. 'Sri Rama' worshiped this 'Aparajita' Devi on Vijayadashami and killed Ravana and got victory. Whoever worships the invincible Aparajitadevi on the day of Vijayadashami .. Srichakra Adhisthana deity ... Shree Vijaydurga who is the embodiment of Shodasa Mahavidya ... Shree Rajarajeshwaridevi! All of them will definitely get success. Ammavaru appears in Paramashanta form, accompanied by all Nityamnaya Parivara, with Maha Kameshwar as her figure, Adi Parashakti... Rajarajeshwari as Goddess Rajarajeswari smiling in a Shanta form, wearing a sugar cane (Ikshukhandam) and holding abhaya mudra in one hand. *What is Dussehra? The Dasa Indriyas which are the Pancha Gnana and Pancha Karmendriyas- Extortion, Violence, Woman Infatuation, Greed, Hypocrisy, Harsh Speech, Lying, Backbiting, Slander, Abuse of Power, Dasa i.e. Ten Sinful Actions. The festival where Jaganmata is worshiped to remove these ten types of sins is called 'Dasa Hara'. The same became Dussehra. To pass through the 4 stages of childhood, youth, adolescence and old age, one must attain the state of birthlessness. Dashahara – Dussehra is the worship of Shri Devi for 10 nights to destroy the stages of human births, to attain this birthless state. Speaking harshly, telling lies, speaking nonsense, speaking words that society cannot tolerate – these four kinds of sins are committed through words. To be infatuated with money that is not one's own, to be infatuated with things, to do things that cause trouble to others, and to want to do evil to others - these three are mental sins. Giving alms to an unworthy person, committing violence against the law, and accepting another woman or man are the three bodily sins. These are ten sins in total. We should pray to Goddess Durga to grant us freedom from these ten sins and make our lives full of happiness and all the riches.*

*మహాభారతంలో పాండవులు అజ్ఞాతవాసంతో విరాట నగరానికి వచ్చి నగర పొలిమేరలలో ఉన్న శమీవృక్షం మీద తమ ఆయుధాల నుంచి ఆరాధించి, నమస్కరించి మా ఈ ఆయుధాలు శత్రువులకు పాములు, భూతాల వలె మిత్రులకు పుష్పమాలలు వలె తమకు మాత్రం ఆయుధాలుగా కనబడాలని అపరాజితా దేవిని (దుర్గాదేవిని) ప్రార్థించారు. అజ్ఞాతవాసం అనంతరం ఉత్తర గోగ్రహణ సమయంలో అర్జునుడు ఆయుధాలను తీసుకుని బయలుదేరిన రోజు ‘విజయదశమి’. సాధారణంగా శమీ వృక్షం గ్రామానికి దూరంగా ఉంటుంది. ఆ ఆచారాన్ని అనుసరించే ఈనాటికి కూడా విజయదశమి నాడు శమీవృక్షాన్ని దర్శించి, పూజిస్తారు.*
*శమీ వృక్షమంటే 'జమ్మి చెట్టు'. పాండవులు శమీవృక్ష రూపమున ఉన్న 'అపరాజిత'దేవి ఆశీస్సులు పొంది కౌరవులపై విజయము సాదించారు . "శ్రీ రాముడు" ఈ విజయదశమి రోజున ఈ 'అపరాజితా' దేవిని పూజించి రావణుని సంహరించి, విజయము పొందినాడు. శ్రీరాముడు శక్తిని మేల్కొల్పిన సమయము ఆశ్వయుజ శుక్లపాడ్యమి. నాటినుంచి పదోరోజు శ్రీరాముడు సంపూర్ణ విజయాన్ని పొంది పుష్పకమెక్కి అయోధ్యకు బయలుదేరాడు. అలా బయల్దేరేముందు శమీ వృక్షాన్ని పూజించాడు. అందువల్లనే నవరాత్రి ఉత్సవాలను జరిపి, విజయదశమినాడు అందరూ శమీపూజ చేయడం అనేది ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.*
*విజయదశమి రోజు సాయంత్రం నక్షత్ర దర్శన విజయ సమయాన శమీవృక్షం (జమ్మి చెట్టు) వద్ద గల అపరాజితా దేవిని పూజించి , పై శ్లోకం పఠిస్తూచెట్టుకు ప్రదక్షణలు చేయాలి . పై శ్లోకము వ్రాసుకున్న చీటీలు ఆ చెట్టు కొమ్మలకు తగిలించాలి . ఇలా చేయుట వల్ల అమ్మవారి కృపతోపాటు , శనిదోష నివారణ కూడా జరుగుతుందని ప్రతీతి.*
*ఇంటికి వచ్చేటప్పుడు తమ వెంట జమ్మి ఆకును తెస్తారు. చిన్న వాళ్లు పెద్దల చేతులలో జమ్మి ఆకును ‘బంగారం' అని చెప్పి పెట్టి, వారి దీవెనలందు కోవడం ఆచారంగా పాటిస్తారు. బంగారం లక్ష్మిదేవికి ప్రతీక. మీరు కూడా ఈరోజు సాయంత్రం శమీపూజ చేసి అపరాజితా దేవి అనుగ్రహాన్ని పొందండి.*

*🪷. మంత్రార్థం 🪷*
*శమీ వృక్షము అనేది పాపాన్ని శమింపచేసేది. శత్రువులను నాశనం చేస్తుందిది. ఇది నాడు అర్జునుని ధనువును కల్గి ఉండింది. శ్రీరాముడికి ప్రియాన్ని కల్గించింది. యాత్రార్థులకు సౌఖ్యాన్నిస్తుంది. పనులన్నిటినీ నిర్విఘ్నంగా కొనసాగేలా చేస్తుంది.*
*🍀. శమీ వృక్ష పార్థనకు సాధనాపర విశిష్టత 🍀*
*పంచ పాండవులు అనగా శరీరంలో ఉండే ఐదు జ్ఞానేంద్రియాలు, తమ ఆయుధాలను అనగా ప్రవృత్తులను లేదా ఇంద్రియాలు చేసే పనులను శమీవృక్షం మీద పెట్టాలి. ‘శమీ’ అనగా శాంతింప చేసేది లేదా నిగ్రహింప చేసేదని అర్థం. మన శరీరంలోని ఏ చిన్న భాగం కదలికయినా బుద్ధి ప్రేరణతోనే జరగాలి. కావున ‘శమీ’ అనగా బుద్ధి, అన్ని ఆయుధాలు బుద్ధిలోనే కలవు. ‘బుద్ధి’కి నిజమైన ఆయుధాలు ‘ఆలోచనలు’. ఈ ఆయుధాలు శత్రువులకు పాములు, భూతాలులాగా కనబడతాయి. అనగా మన ఆలోచనలే శత్రువుల విషయంలో పాములై కాటేసి, భూతాలు వలె భయపెడతాయి కానీ ఆత్మీయులకు పూలమాలలు అవుతాయి. మన బుద్ధే జ్ఞానలక్ష్మి. కావున అమ్మవారిని జ్ఞానప్రసూనాంబిక, విద్యాలక్ష్మి, జ్ఞానలక్ష్మి, మోక్షలక్ష్మి అని చెపుకుంటాము. మరొక వ్యాఖ్యానంలో ‘శమీ’ అనగా లక్ష్మీదేవి. బుద్ధి అమ్మయే కావున అమ్మబుద్ధిని అనుసరిస్తే సకల విజయాలు చేకూరుతాయి.*
*విజయదశమిని దశహరా అని అన్నాము అనగా పది పాపాలు తొలగించేది . పది ఇంద్రియాలతో చేసే పది పాపాలను తొలగించేది, ఇంద్రియాలతో పాపాలను చేయించేది బుద్ధే కావున మంచి బుద్ధిని ప్రసాదించమని ఆ తల్లిని కోరుతూ అలాగే విజయదశమి నాడు దేవతా వృక్షాలలో ప్రసిద్ధమైన ‘శమీ వృక్షా’న్ని దుష్ట ఆలోచనలను, దురాశలను, దుర్బుద్ధిని పారద్రోలడానికి పూజించాలి.*
*శమీ వృక్షము అనగా లక్ష్మీనారాయణులకు సంకేతం. అందరికి మంచి బుద్ధి కలిగి తద్వారా లోకకళ్యాణం జరగాలని శమీపూజ అంతరార్థం.*

*🌹. Inner Meaning of Shami Vriksha Puja - Paramarth 🌹*

*In the Mahabharata, the Pandavas came to outskirts of the city of Virata in anonymity, put their weapons on the sami tree and prayed to Aparajita Devi (Durga Devi) that their weapons on the Sami tree may appear as snakes and demons to enemies, as flower garlands to friends, as weapons to themselves. 'Vijayadasami' was the day when Arjuna took his weapons and set out during the northern eclipse after their agnyatavasa ends. Usually the Sami tree is far away from the village. Even today, following that custom, the Sami Vriksha is visited and worshiped on Vijayadashami.*
*Sami tree means 'jammi tree'. Pandavas got the blessings of 'Aparajita' Goddess in the form of Shami Vriksha and achieved victory over the Kauravas. 'Sri Rama' worshiped this 'Aparajita' Devi on this Vijayadashami day and killed Ravana and got victory. Aswayuja Shuklapadyam was the time when Lord Rama awakened his power. On the tenth day from that day, Lord Rama got complete victory and left on Pushpakam to Ayodhya. Before leaving, he worshiped the Sami tree. That is why it has become customary to celebrate Navratri and do Shami Puja on Vijayadashami.*
*On the evening of Vijayadashami, at the time of Nakshatra Darshan Vijaya,one should worship Aparajita Devi at the Samivriksha (Jammi tree) and perform pradakshans to the tree while reciting the above verse. The slips with the above verse written on them should be stuck to the branches of that tree. By doing this, it is believed that apart from Mother's Grace, Shanidosha will also be cured.*
*When they come home they bring jammi leaf with them. It is customary for the younger ones to put the jammi leaf in the hands of the elders, calling it 'gold' and getting their blessings. Gold symbolizes Goddess Lakshmi. May you also perform Shami Puja today evening and get the grace of Goddess Aparajita.*

*The Sami tree is a savior from sin. Destroys enemies. At a time, it had held Arjuna's bow. Pleased Sri Rama. Convenience to pilgrims. Keeps all the work running smoothly.*
*🍀. Specialty of Sami Vriksha Parthana in sadhana🍀*
*Pancha Pandavas i.e. the five sense organs of the body, should place their weapons i.e. the instincts or the actions of the senses on the Sami Vriksha. 'Shami' means one who calms or restrains. Any movement of any small part of our body should be done by mind. So 'Shami' means Buddhi, all weapons are found in Buddhi. The real weapons of 'buddhi' are 'thoughts'. These weapons appear to the enemy as snakes and demons. In other words, our thoughts become snakes and frighten like demons in the case of enemies but become garlands for loved ones. Our Buddhi is Gnanalakshmi. Therefore we call Amma Gnanaprasunambika, Vidyalakshmi, Gnanalakshmi, Mokshalakshmi. In another interpretation, 'Shami' means Goddess Lakshmi. Buddhi is mother, so if you follow mother's mind, you will achieve all success.*
*Vijayadasami is called Dashahara which means removing ten sins. Since it is the Buddhi who removes the ten sins of the ten senses and commits the sins of the senses, one should pray to that mother to bestow a good mind and on Vijayadashami, one should worship the famous 'Sami Vriksha' among the deity trees to drive away all evil thoughts, greed and evil mind.*
*Shami tree is a symbol of Lakshminarayan. The implication of Shami Puja is that everyone should have a good mind so that the welfare of the world can take place.*

*వ్యాఖ్య : ప్రస్తుత శరీరం నుండి పోయిన తర్వాత జీవికి రెండు రకాల పరివర్తనలు ఉంటాయి. యమరాజు అని పిలువబడే పాప కార్యాల నియంత్రిక వద్దకు వెళ్లడం ఒక రకమైన పరివర్తన, మరియు మరొకటి వైకుంఠం వరకు ఉన్న ఉన్నత గ్రహాలకు వెళ్లడం. ఇక్కడ కపిల భగవానుడు కుటుంబాన్ని నిర్వహించడం కోసం ఇంద్రియ తృప్తిని కలిగించే కార్యక్రమాలలో నిమగ్నమైన వ్యక్తులను యమరాజు దూతలు ఎలా పరిగణిస్తారో వివరిస్తాడు. మరణ సమయంలో యమదూతలు తమ ఇంద్రియాలను బలంగా తృప్తిపరిచిన వ్యక్తులకు సంరక్షకులు అవుతారు. వారు మరణిస్తున్న వ్యక్తి యొక్క బాధ్యతను తీసుకుంటారు మరియు యమరాజు నివసించే గ్రహం వద్దకు తీసుకువెళతారు. అక్కడి పరిస్థితులు క్రింది శ్లోకాలలో వివరించబడ్డాయి.*

*sa dṛṣṭvā trasta-hṛdayaḥ śakṛn-mūtraṁ vimuñcati*
*MEANING : At death, he sees the messengers of the lord of death come before him, their eyes full of wrath, and in great fear he passes stool and urine.*
*PURPORT : There are two kinds of transmigration of a living entity after passing away from the present body. One kind of transmigration is to go to the controller of sinful activities, who is known as Yamarāja, and the other is to go to the higher planets, up to Vaikuṇṭha. Here Lord Kapila describes how persons engaged in activities of sense gratification to maintain a family are treated by the messengers of Yamarāja, called Yamadūtas. At the time of death the Yamadūtas become the custodians of those persons who have strongly gratified their senses. They take charge of the dying man and take him to the planet where Yamarāja resides. The conditions there are described in the following verses.*

*🌴. When a yogi is firmly established in the pure knowledge of the self, the wakeful world becomes secondary to him, like a ray or an extension or projection within himself. 🌴*
*I or aham means the individual self and this or idam means objects that prevail in the universe. In other words, aham is the seer and idam is seen. The point of realization is where both aham and idam merge. The point of realization is achieved only by dissolving I, me and mine. When this dissolution is complete, it is called unmanā. When unmanā stage is achieved, the aspirant considers every other object of the universe as reflection of God. Hence, there is no question of aham and idam. He has completely dissolved duality. When the aspirant reaches this stage, whether he is awake or in trance does not matter, as he sees only God everywhere. He truly understands the principle of omnipresence nature of God.*
*The fact is that the whole universe is filled with the consciousness of Divine. It is due to differentiated perception caused by māyā, objects appear as different from the Self. When unmanā stage is achieved, māyā wanes away, paving way for the revelation of the Supreme.*
