*🌷 Translation : Arjuna inquired: Which are considered to be more perfect, those who are always properly engaged in Your devotional service or those who worship the impersonal Brahman, the unmanifested?*
*🌹 Purport : Kṛṣṇa has now explained about the personal, the impersonal and the universal and has described all kinds of devotees and yogīs. Generally, the transcendentalists can be divided into two classes. One is the impersonalist, and the other is the personalist. The personalist devotee engages himself with all energy in the service of the Supreme Lord. The impersonalist also engages himself, not directly in the service of Kṛṣṇa but in meditation on the impersonal Brahman, the unmanifested. We find in this chapter that of the different processes for realization of the Absolute Truth, bhakti-yoga, devotional service, is the highest. If one at all desires to have the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, then he must take to devotional service. Those who worship the Supreme Lord directly by devotional service are called personalists. Those who engage themselves in meditation on the impersonal Brahman are called impersonalists.*
*Arjuna is here questioning which position is better. There are different ways to realize the Absolute Truth, but Kṛṣṇa indicates in this chapter that bhakti-yoga, or devotional service to Him, is the highest of all. It is the most direct, and it is the easiest means for association with the Godhead. In the Second Chapter of Bhagavad-gītā, the Supreme Lord explained that a living entity is not the material body; he is a spiritual spark. And the Absolute Truth is the spiritual whole. In the Seventh Chapter He spoke of the living entity as being part and parcel of the supreme whole and recommended that he transfer his attention fully to the whole. So in practically every chapter the conclusion has been that one should be attached to the personal form of Kṛṣṇa, for that is the highest spiritual realization.*

*ఓ మహర్షీ! విష్ణువు కూడ మోహము తొలగి జ్ఞానమును పొందినవాడై పూర్వమునందు వలె శివుని స్మరిస్తూ తన లోకమునందు సుఖముగా నుండెను (56). పాపసందోహములను నశింపజేయునది, మానవుల సర్వకామనల నీడేర్చునది, సర్వకామవికారములను పోగొట్టునది అగు ఈ గాథ సర్వవిజ్ఞానమును వర్ధిల్లజేయును. (57). ఎవడైతే దీనిని నిత్యము భక్తితో పఠించునో లేక పఠింపజేయునో, వినునో, లేదా వినిపించునో, అట్టివాడు పరమగతిని పొందును (58). బుద్ధిమంతుడగు ఏ వ్యక్తి సర్వశ్రేష్ఠమగు ఈ గాథనుపఠించి యుద్దరంగమును ప్రవేశించునో, అట్టి వీరుడు నిస్సంశయముగా విజయమును పొందును (59). ఈ గాథ బ్రాహ్మణులకు బ్రహ్మవిద్యను, క్షత్రియులకు జయమును, వైశ్యులకు సమస్త సంపదలను, శూద్రులకు సుఖమును ఇచ్చును (60). ఓ వ్యాసా! అందరి పాపములను పోగొట్టి శంభునియందు భక్తిని కలిగించే ఈ గాథ ఇహపర లోకములలో సర్వదా సద్గతినిచ్చును (61).*

53. O great brahmin, myrobolan and the holy basil shall be understood as the favourites of gods in the month of Kārttika, especially of Viṣṇu.
54. There too, O great sage, the holy basil is the most blessed and the most excellent. Except Gaṇeśa it delights every deity and bestows all desires.
55. On seeing Viṣṇu settled again in Vaikuṇṭha, Brahmā, Indra and other gods bowed to and eulogised him and then left for their respective abodes.
56. O excellent sage, Viṣṇu too, settled in his own world, freed from delusion and enlightened, became happy remembering Śiva as before.
57. This is the narrative that destroys sins, bestows desires to all men. It increases perfect knowledge and quells all aberrations of base lust.
58. He who reads or teaches this every day, he who hears or narrates this with devotion attains the greatest goal.
59. The intelligent man who reads this most excellent narrative and goes to war will certainly be victorious. There is no doubt about it.
60. This yields the knowledge of Vedas to the brahmins, victory to the Kṣatriyas, wealth to the Vaiśyas and happiness to the Śūdras.
61. O Vyāsa, it confers devotion to Śiva, it destroys the sins of all persons, it bestows the good goal here and hereafter.

When Bhakti matures into anurakti or attachment towards Shrimata, Rasa emerges from the intelligence. An engrossment happens. It is an internal chemical. External tools such as wine, alcohol etc. can make the jeeva unconscious in chaitanya but cannot make him relish the bliss*
