భర్త చెప్పిన మాటకు కోపముతో మండి పడుతూ బదులిడే స్త్రీ గ్రామములో కుక్కయైగాని, నిర్జనారణ్యములో నక్కయైగాని జన్మించును (45). పతివ్రత ఎత్తైన ఆసనముపై కూర్చుండరాదు. దుష్టుల సన్నిధికి పోరాదు. భర్తతో ఎక్కడనైననూ పిరికి దనమును, భయమును కలిగించు మాటలను చెప్పరాదు (46). కొండెములను చెప్పరాదు.కలహములకు దూరముగా నుండవలెను. పెద్దల సన్నధిలో బిగ్గరగా మాటలాడరాదు, నవ్వరాదు(47).
బయట నుండి వచ్చిన భర్తను గాంచి వెంటనే నీటిని ఇచ్చి, వస్త్రములనిచ్చి, భోజనము పెట్టి, తాంబూలమునిచ్చి పాదములను నొక్కి సేవించవలెను (48). మరియు ప్రేమతో నిండిన మాటలను చెప్పి శ్రమను తొలగింపజేసి ప్రీతిని కలిగించు స్త్రీ ముల్లోకములను సంతోష పెట్టిన పుణ్యమును పొందును (49).
తండ్రిగాని, సోదరుడు గాని, కుమారుడుగాని, స్త్రీకి పరిమితముగనే ఇచ్చును. కాని సర్వస్వమును ఇచ్చే భర్తను స్త్రీసదా పూజించవలెను (50). దైవము, గురువు, ధర్మము, తీర్థము, వ్రతము అన్నియూ భర్తయే. కావున అన్నిటినీ విడిచి ఒక్క భర్తను మాత్రము సేవించవలెను (51). భర్తను విడిచి రహస్యముగా తిరుగాడు దుష్టస్త్రీ చెట్టు తొర్రలో నివసించే క్రూరమగు గుడ్లగూబయై పుట్టును (52). భర్తను కొట్టబోవు స్త్రీపెద్దపులి, లేక పిల్లియై పుట్టును. ఇతర పురుషులను ఓర చూపుతో చూచే స్త్రీ మెల్లకన్ను గలది యగును (53).
ఏ స్త్రీ భర్తను విడిచి పెట్టి తాను ఒక్కతెయే మృష్టాన్నమును భుజించునో ఆమె గ్రామసూకరమైగాని, మేకయై గాని పుట్టును (54). ఏ స్త్రీ భర్తను నిరాకరించి మాటలాడునో ఆమె మూగియై జన్మించును. ఎల్లవేళలా సవతితో కొట్లాడు స్త్రీ భాగ్యహీనురాలిగా అనేక జన్మలను పొందును (55).
భర్తను చూచుట మాని ఇతర పురుషుని చూచు స్త్రీకురూపి, గ్రుడ్డి, వికృతమగు ముఖము గలది అయి పుట్టును (56). ప్రాణము లేని దేహము అశుచి గనుక మానవులు దానిని వెంటనే తగులబెట్టెదరు. అదే తీరున భర్తను విడిచిన స్త్రీ చక్కగా స్నానము చేసినా అశుచియే యగును (57). ఏ గృహములో పతివ్రతా దేవి ఉండునో, ఆమె తల్లిదండ్రులు ధన్యులు. ఆమె భర్త ధన్యుడు (58).

*🌻 Description of the duties of the chaste wife - 5 🌻*
45. If she furiously retorts to her husband she is born as a bitch in a village or as a vixen in a secluded place.
46. The chaste lady shall never take a higher seat never approach a defiled person, never speak to her husband in agitation.
47. She should avoid slanderous words, shun quarrels and shall not speak aloud or laugh in the presence of elders.
48-49. She who delights her husband delights all the worlds. When she sees her husband coming home she shall hasten to serve him food and water, hand him betel and change of garments, and serve him by massaging his feet. By pleasing words she shall fascinate him and dispel his gloom.
50. What father gives is limited, what brother gives is limited and what the son gives is also limited. A chaste lady shall worship her husband who gives what has no limit.
51. To a wife the husband is god, preceptor, virtue, holy centre and sacred rite. She should cast off everything and adore him alone.
52. She who forsakes her husband and secretly violates her fidelity is born as a she-owl of cruel nature wasting its days in the hollow of a tree.
53. If she desires to beat her husband in retaliation, she becomes a tiger or a wild cat. She who ogles at another man becomes squint-eyed.
54. She who partakes of sweet dish denying the same to her husband becomes a pig in the village or a wild goat eating its own dung.
55. She who addresses her husband in singular becomes dumb. She who is jealous of a co-wife becomes ill-fated in matrimony again and again.
56. She who casts glance on another person hiding it from her husband becomes one-eyed, twisted-faced or ugly.
57. Just as a body bereft of the soul becomes unclean in a moment, similarly a woman without a husband is always unclean even though she may take a neat bath.
58. The mother, the father and the husband are blessed if there is a chaste lady in the house.

అగ్ని పలికెను : ఓ మునీశ్వరుడా! అపుడు కశ్యపునకు అదిత్యాదుల యందు పుట్టిన సంతానమును గూర్చి చెప్పెదను. చాక్షుష మన్వంతరము నందు తుషిత దేవతలుగా ఉన్నవారే మరల వైవస్వత మన్వంతరము నందు - విష్ణువు, శక్రుడు, త్వష్ట, ధాత అర్యముడు, పూష, వివస్వంతుడు, సవిత, మిత్రుడు, వరుణుడు, భగుడు, అంశువు అను ద్వాదశాదిత్యులుగా అదితి యందు కశ్యపునకు జనించిరి. అరిష్టనేమి భార్యలకు పదునారుగురు పుత్రులు జనించిరి.
విద్వాంసుడైన బహుపుత్రునకు నలుగురు విద్యుత్తులు కుమార్తెలుగా పుట్టిరి. కృశాశ్వుని శ్రేష్ఠమైన సురాయుధములు ప్రత్యంగిరసుని వలన జనించినవి. ప్రతియుగమునందును, సూర్యుని ఉదయాస్త మనముల వలె, వీరి ఉదయాన్తమనములు (పుట్టుక, తిరోధానము) జరుగు చుండును.
దితికి క్యపుని వలన హిరణ్యకశిపుడు, హిరణ్యాక్షుడు అను కుమారులును, విప్రచిత్తి భార్యయైన సంహికయను కుమార్తెయు జనించిరి. ఆమెకు రాహువు మొదలగు పుత్రులు పుట్టి స్తెంహినేయులని ప్రసిద్ది పొందిరి.
హిరణకశిపునకు ప్రసిద్దమైన తేజస్సుగల అనుహ్రాదుడు, హ్రాదుడు, గొప్ప విష్ణుభక్తుడైన ప్రహ్లాదుడు, సంహ్రాదుడు అను నలుగరు పుత్తరులు జనించిరి. హ్రాదుని పుత్రుడు హ్రదుడు, ఆయుష్మంతుడు, éశిబి, బాష్కలుడు అనువారు సంహ్రాదుని కుమారులు ప్రహ్లాదుని కుమారుడు విరోచనుడు. విరోచనునకు బలి అను పుత్రుడు కలిగెను. బలికి నూర్గురు కుమారులు జనించిరి. వారిలో బాణుడు జ్యేష్ఠుడు.
పూర్వకల్పమునందు బాణుడు ఉమాపతిని అనుగ్రహింప చేసికొని ఆతనినుండి ఆతని సమీపముననే విహరించుట అను వరమును పొందెను.

*🌻 The progeny of Kaśyapa - 1 🌻*
Agni said:
1-3. O Sage! I describe the creation (made) by Kaśyapa through Aditi and others. Those devas who were (known) as Tuṣita in the Cākṣuṣa manvantara, again became (the sons) of Kaśyapa through Aditi in the Vaivasvata manvantara as the twelve Ādityas (with the names) Viṣṇu, Śakra, Tvaṣṭṛ, Dhātṛ, Aryaman, Pūṣan, Vivasvat, Savitṛ, Mitra, Varuṇa, Bhaga, and Aṃśu. The progeny of the wives of Ariṣṭanemi were sixteen.
4. The four lightnings were the daughters of the learned Bahuputra. Those born of Aṅgiras were excellent. (The progeny) of Kṛśāśva were the celestial weapons.[1]
5. Just as the sun rises and sets, similarly these (do) in every yuga. From Kaśyapa, Hiraṇyakaśipu and Hiraṇyākṣa (were born) through Diti.
6. Siṃhikā was also their daughter, who was married by Vipracitti. Rāhu and others born to her were known as Saiṃhikeyas.
7-8. The four sons of Hiraṇyakaśipu (were) very effulgent. (They were) Anuhrāda, Hrāda, Prahrāda a staunch devotee of Viṣṇu; and Saṃhrāda was the fourth (son). Hrada (was) the son of Hrāda. Āyuṣmat, Śibi, and Bāṣkala (were) the sons of Hrada.
9. Virocana (was) the son of Prahrāda. Bali was born to Virocana. Bali had hundred sons. Bāṇa was the foremost among them, O great sage!
10. Having propitiated the consort of Umā (Śiva) in the past kalpa, a boon was obtained by Bāṇa from the lord that he would always wander by the side (of the lord).

*So to know rubbish as rubbish is a great insight. Then it starts slipping out of your hands-because you cannot hold it long if you know it is rubbish. The very understanding that it is rubbish is enough for your hands to start becoming empty, and when your hands are empty of the rubbish, only the one, the real question, is left. And the beauty is that if only the real question is left, the answer is not far away. It is just inside the question. The very center of the question is the answer.*

దిరువురును ప్రముఖులే. వారి యందు హెచ్చుతగ్గులు లేవు. ఒకే తత్వము నుండి దిగి వచ్చినవారు. ప్రాణ మున్ననే ప్రజ్ఞ ఉపాధి యందు స్థితిగొని యుండును. ప్రాణము నిష్క్రమించినచో ప్రజ్ఞ నిష్క్రమించును. ప్రాణ మవతరించినచో ప్రజ్ఞ అవతరించును. అమ్మ లేక సృష్టియందు ప్రాణము లేదు. ఆమెయే ప్రాణేశ్వరి. ఆమెయే ప్రాణదాత్రి. ఆమెయే ప్రాణము. సృష్టియందు, జీవులయందు ప్రాణ నాడిగ వర్తించును. స్పందనాత్మకమై నిలచును.*
*కామేశ్వరుని యందు కూడ ప్రాణనాడి శ్రీమాతయే. కనుకనే పరమశివుడు సాగర మథన సమయమున పరమేశ్వరి అనుజ్ఞగొని హాలాహలమును స్వీకరించెను. శ్రీమాత ప్రాణనాడి యగుట చేత శివుడు మహాక్రూరమైన కాలకూట విషమును త్రాగిననూ శ్రీమాత మహిమచే కాలవశుడు కాలేదు. అమ్మ అనుగ్రహ మున్నవారికి ప్రాణ భయము లేదు. మన యందలి ప్రాణనాడి ఆమెయే. శరీరము నుండి ప్రాణము నిష్క్రమించినచో ప్రజ్ఞ కూడ నిష్క్రమించును. ఒకానొకప్పుడు ప్రజ్ఞ నిష్క్రమించిననూ ప్రాణము దేహము నంటిపెట్టుకొని యుండును.*
