బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

అపుడు విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలు, తపోధనులగు మునులు అవశ్యమగు పనులను పూర్తి చేసుకొని కైలాసయాత్రకు సన్నద్ధులైరి (1). అపుడు హిమవంతుడు స్నానము చేసి ఇష్టదైవమును శ్రద్ధగా పూజించి పౌరులను బంధువులను దోడ్కెని పెళ్లివారి మకామునకు వెళ్లెను (2). అచట శివప్రభుని ఆనందముతో పూజించి ఇట్లు ప్రార్థించెను. నా గృహములో కొద్ది రోజులు అందరితో కలిసి నివసించుము (3).

హే శంభో! నిన్ను దర్శించుట చేత, దేవతలతో గూడి నీవు నా ఇంటికి వచ్చుట చేత నేను కృతార్థుడను, ధన్యుడను అయితిననుటలో సందేహము లేదు (4).

పర్వతరాజు ఈ తీరున చేతులు జోడించి నమస్కరించి విష్ణువు, దేవతలను, ఇతరులను, శివ ప్రభుని అనేక విధములుగా ఆహ్వానించెను (5). విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలతో గూడిన మునులు శివుని సాదరముగా మనస్సులో స్మరించి అపుడిట్లు బదులిడిరి (6).


దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి-

ఓ గిరిరాజా! నీవు ధన్యడవు. నీ కీర్తి చాల గొప్పది. ముల్లోకములలో నీ అంతటి పుణ్యాత్ముడగు జనుడు మరియొకడు లేడు (7). పరబ్రహ్మ, సత్పురుషులకు శరణము, భక్తవత్సలుడు అగు మహేశ్వరుడు తన కింకరులతో గూడి నీఇంటికి దయ చేసినాడు (8).

ఇచటి విడిది చాల సుందరము గనున్నది. వివిధ సన్మానములను చేసి యుంటివి. ఓ పర్వతరాజా! అపూర్వములైన భోజనములను వర్ణింప శక్యము కాదు (9). దీనిలో వింత ఏమీ లేదు. ఏలయన ఎచట జగన్మాతయగు శివాదేవి గలదో, అచట సర్వము పరిపూర్ణమగును. మేము ఇచటకు వచ్చి ధన్యులమైతిమి (10).

🌻 Description of Śiva’s return journey - 1 🌻


Brahmā said:—

1. Then Viṣṇu and other gods, the sages and ascetics sent message to the mountain about their intention to leave after finishing their immediate duties.

2. Then the lord of mountains finished his ceremonial ablution and the worship of his favourite deity. Calling his kinsmen in the city, he came to the audience hall joyously.

3. There he worshipped the lord with pleasure and requested him to stay in his house for a few days more along with all the people.

4. “O Śiva” he said “I am contented by your sight. I am blessed since you came here with the gods”.

5. Saying these words and many more, the lord of mountains pleaded with palms joined in reverence to the lord along with Viṣṇu and other gods.

6. Then the gods and sages remembered Śiva and spoke with delight.


The gods said:—

7. O lord of the mountains, you are blessed. Your glory is great. Even in the three worlds, there is none equal to you in merit.

8. At your very door, lord Śiva, the supreme Brahman, the goal of the good and favourably disposed to His devotees, has deigned to come along with us, His slaves.

9. O lord of mountains, this audience hall is very excellent. You have honoured us in diverse ways. The foodstuffs served to us were extraordinary. It is impossible to describe them suitably.

10. It is no wonder that everything is perfect where the goddess Pārvatī is present. We too are blessed since we came.

🌻. బుద్ధ కల్క్యవతార వర్ణన- 1 🌻

అగ్ని పలికెను. బుద్ధావతారమును గూర్చి చెప్పెదను. ఇది చదువువానికిని వినువానికిని గూడ మంచి ప్రయోజనమును చేకూర్చును. పూర్వము దేవాసుర యుద్ధము జరిగెను. ఆ యుద్ధమున పరాజితు లైన దేవతలు ''రక్షింపుము రక్షింపుము అని ప్రార్థించుచు పరమేశ్వరుని శరణు జొచ్చిరి.

అపుడు మాయామోహ స్వరూపుడైన ఆ పరమేశ్వరుడు శుద్ధోదనుని కుమారుడుగా జనించి, దైత్యులకు మోహము కలిగించి, వారు వేదధర్మమును విడచునట్లు చేసెను. వారందరును బౌద్ధులైరి. ఆ పరమేశ్వరుడే ఆర్హతుడై, మిగిలిన వేదవర్జితుల నందరిని ఆర్హతులను చేసెను. ఈ విధముగ దైత్యులు వేద ధర్మాదివర్జితు లైన పాషండులుగా ఆయిరి.

వారు నరకమును ఇచ్చు కర్మలు చేసిరి. వీరందరును అధమునినుండి కూడ ప్రతి గ్రహము చేయుదురు. కలియుగాంతమున సంకర మగుదురు. శీలరహితు లైన దొంగ లగుదురు. పదునైదు శాఖలు గల వాజసనేయ వేదము ప్రమాణము కాగలదు. ధర్మ మను చొక్కా తొడిగికొనిన మ్లేచ్ఛులు, రాజులై, అధర్మమునందు ఆసక్తి కలవారై మనుష్యులను భక్షించగలరు. (పీడించగలరు.)

🌻 Manifestation of Viṣṇu as Buddha and Kalki - 1 🌻

Agni said:

1. I am describing the manifestation (of Viṣṇu) as Buddha, by reading and hearing which one gets wealth. Once in the battle between devas and asuras, devas were defeated by the daityas (demons, sons of Diti).

2. They sought refuge in the lord saying, “Protect us! Protect us!”. He (Viṣṇu), who is of the form of illusory delusion became the son of Śuddhodana.

3-4. He deluded those demons. Those, who had abandoned the path laid down in the Vedas, became the Bauddhas and from them others who had abandoned the Vedas. He then became the Arhat (Jaina). He then made others as Arhats. Thus the heretics came into being devoid of vedic dharmas.

5-6. They did such a work deserving hell (as reward). They would receive even from the vile. All of them became mixed Dasyus and devoid of good conduct at the end of Kaliyuga. Of the Vājasaneyaka veda (Śuklayajurveda) only fifteen sections will be existing.

7. Non-aryans in the form of kings would devour men who wear the costumes of righteousness and have a taste for unrighteous thing.

నీలో క్రోధ శక్తి లేకుంటే అవమానం ఏమీ చేయకుండానే మిగిలి పోయేది. ఇది కేవలం గడిచి పోయేది. మీరు దానితో కలవరపడరు. మానవ స్పృహ వెలుపల కారణాలు లేవు; కారణాలు మీలో ఉన్నాయి. మీరు మీ జీవితానికి కారణం, మరియు దీన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం అంటే, ప్రాథమిక సత్యాలలో ఒకటి అర్థం చేసుకోవడమే. దీన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవాలంటే మీరు పరివర్తన ప్రయాణం ప్రారంభించాలి.

Misery has no outer cause; the cause is inner. You go on throwing the responsibility outside yourself, but that is just an excuse. Yes, misery is triggered from the outside, but the outside does not create it. When somebody insults you, the insult comes from the outside, but the anger is inside you. The anger is not caused by the insult, it is not the effect of the insult.

If there were no anger energy in you, the insult would have remained impotent. It would have simply passed, and you would not have been disturbed by it. Causes don't exist outside human consciousness; causes exist inside you. You are the cause of your life, and to understand this is to understand one of the most basic truths. To understand this is to start a journey of transformation.

సమస్తమును చూచునది శ్రీదేవి అని అర్థము. ఇచ్చట చూచుట అనగా ఆత్మయందు దర్శించుట. శ్రీదేవి తన ఆత్మయందు సమస్తమును చూచుచు నుండును. అంతయు ఆమె యందే జరుగుచుండగా సాక్షీభూతమై చూచు చుండును. పరాస్థితి తరువాత స్థితి పశ్యంతి స్థితి. పశ్యంతి యందున్నప్పుడు కరణము, కారణము, కర్త ఇత్యాది వేవియు నుండవు. ఈ స్థితిలో పరమును గూర్చిన ధ్యానము సతతము యుండును. అట్లే సృష్టి దర్శనము కూడ నుండును.

శ్రీమాత చైతన్య స్వరూప మగుట వలన తన యందలి పరమేశ్వరునితో అను సంధానమై సమస్తమును దర్శించుచు నుండును. ఆమె నుండి వ్యక్తమైన ఇచ్ఛా జ్ఞాన క్రియా శక్తులు సమస్త కార్యములను చక్కబెట్టు చుండును. ఆత్మ దర్శనులకు ఇది అత్యుత్తమ స్థితి. ఈ స్థితినే అందరును కోరుదురు. ఈ స్థితిలో పరమపదము చేరువలో నుండగా తమ నుండి ఇచ్ఛా, జ్ఞాన, క్రియలు జరుగుచుండును. వానిని తామును గమనించుచునే యుందురు. వశిష్ఠాది బ్రహ్మ ఋషు లట్టివారు.

🌻 368. Paśyantī पश्यन्ती 🌻

Nāma 366 said that paśyantī is the second stage in the evolution of sound. The union of Śiva and Śaktī is the primary stage of sound which is called parā. This primary stage leads to the next stage called paśyantī where the first differentiation begins to appear in the process of evolution of speech. In this level, the sound becomes more perceptible but continues to be inaudible, though not yet isolated.

The previous nāma suggested that one should look within to explore the inner consciousness. But what happens if inner consciousness is explored? It leads to the beginning of differentiation in the form of visionary wherein the Self begins to realize all others as its own. This nāma says that She is in this form of speech. The concept is that She is the beginning and end of speech. It can also be said that speech originates and dissolves in Her.

పర్వతరాజు ఈ తీరున చేతులు జోడించి నమస్కరించి విష్ణువు, దేవతలను, ఇతరులను, శివ ప్రభుని అనేక విధములుగా ఆహ్వానించెను (5). విష్ణువు మొదలగు దేవతలతో గూడిన మునులు శివుని సాదరముగా మనస్సులో స్మరించి అపుడిట్లు బదులిడిరి (6).

దేవతలిట్లు పలికిరి-

ఓ గిరిరాజా! నీవు ధన్యడవు. నీ కీర్తి చాల గొప్పది. ముల్లోకములలో నీ అంతటి పుణ్యాత్ముడగు జనుడు మరియొకడు లేడు (7). పరబ్రహ్మ, సత్పురుషులకు శరణము, భక్తవత్సలుడు అగు మహేశ్వరుడు తన కింకరులతో గూడి నీఇంటికి దయ చేసినాడు (8). 

ఇచటి విడిది చాల సుందరము గనున్నది. వివిధ సన్మానములను చేసి యుంటివి. ఓ పర్వతరాజా! అపూర్వములైన భోజనములను వర్ణింప శక్యము కాదు (9). దీనిలో వింత ఏమీ లేదు. ఏలయన ఎచట జగన్మాతయగు శివాదేవి గలదో, అచట సర్వము పరిపూర్ణమగును. మేము ఇచటకు వచ్చి ధన్యులమైతిమి (10).

1. Then Viṣṇu and other gods, the sages and ascetics sent message to the mountain about their intention to leave after finishing their immediate duties.

2. Then the lord of mountains finished his ceremonial ablution and the worship of his favourite deity. Calling his kinsmen in the city, he came to the audience hall joyously.

3. There he worshipped the lord with pleasure and requested him to stay in his house for a few days more along with all the people.

4. “O Śiva” he said “I am contented by your sight. I am blessed since you came here with the gods”.

5. Saying these words and many more, the lord of mountains pleaded with palms joined in reverence to the lord along with Viṣṇu and other gods.

6. Then the gods and sages remembered Śiva and spoke with delight.

The gods said:—

7. O lord of the mountains, you are blessed. Your glory is great. Even in the three worlds, there is none equal to you in merit.

8. At your very door, lord Śiva, the supreme Brahman, the goal of the good and favourably disposed to His devotees, has deigned to come along with us, His slaves.

9. O lord of mountains, this audience hall is very excellent. You have honoured us in diverse ways. The foodstuffs served to us were extraordinary. It is impossible to describe them suitably.

10. It is no wonder that everything is perfect where the goddess Pārvatī is present. We too are blessed since we came.

అపుడు మాయామోహ స్వరూపుడైన ఆ పరమేశ్వరుడు శుద్ధోదనుని కుమారుడుగా జనించి, దైత్యులకు మోహము కలిగించి, వారు వేదధర్మమును విడచునట్లు చేసెను. వారందరును బౌద్ధులైరి. ఆ పరమేశ్వరుడే ఆర్హతుడై, మిగిలిన వేదవర్జితుల నందరిని ఆర్హతులను చేసెను. ఈ విధముగ దైత్యులు వేద ధర్మాదివర్జితు లైన పాషండులుగా ఆయిరి.

వారు నరకమును ఇచ్చు కర్మలు చేసిరి. వీరందరును అధమునినుండి కూడ ప్రతి గ్రహము చేయుదురు. కలియుగాంతమున సంకర మగుదురు. శీలరహితు లైన దొంగ లగుదురు. పదునైదు శాఖలు గల వాజసనేయ వేదము ప్రమాణము కాగలదు. ధర్మ మను చొక్కా తొడిగికొనిన మ్లేచ్ఛులు, రాజులై, అధర్మమునందు ఆసక్తి కలవారై మనుష్యులను భక్షించగలరు. (పీడించగలరు.)

*🌻 Manifestation of Viṣṇu as Buddha and Kalki - 1 🌻*

Agni said:

1. I am describing the manifestation (of Viṣṇu) as Buddha, by reading and hearing which one gets wealth. Once in the battle between devas and asuras, devas were defeated by the daityas (demons, sons of Diti).

2. They sought refuge in the lord saying, “Protect us! Protect us!”. He (Viṣṇu), who is of the form of illusory delusion became the son of Śuddhodana.

3-4. He deluded those demons. Those, who had abandoned the path laid down in the Vedas, became the Bauddhas and from them others who had abandoned the Vedas. He then became the Arhat (Jaina). He then made others as Arhats. Thus the heretics came into being devoid of vedic dharmas.

5-6. They did such a work deserving hell (as reward). They would receive even from the vile. All of them became mixed Dasyus and devoid of good conduct at the end of Kaliyuga. Of the Vājasaneyaka veda (Śuklayajurveda) only fifteen sections will be existing.

7. Non-aryans in the form of kings would devour men who wear the costumes of righteousness and have a taste for unrighteous thing.

This primary stage leads to the next stage called paśyantī where the first differentiation begins to appear in the process of evolution of speech. In this level, the sound becomes more perceptible but continues to be inaudible, though not yet isolated.*

*The previous nāma suggested that one should look within to explore the inner consciousness. But what happens if inner consciousness is explored? It leads to the beginning of differentiation in the form of visionary wherein the Self begins to realize all others as its own. This nāma says that She is in this form of speech. The concept is that She is the beginning and end of speech. It can also be said that speech originates and dissolves in Her.*

However many things you may collect, perhaps they may increase your worries, your troubles, but happiness will not increase because of them. Certainly unhappiness will increase with them, but they have no relation to an increase in your happiness.

🍀. ధ్యానం అస్తిత్వ సంబంధమైనది. తాత్వికమైంది కాదు. అది నీకు మెలకువనిస్తుంది. అందువల్ల నిన్ను నువ్వు ఎదుర్కోగలవు. సత్యమే జ్ఞానోదయం. 🍀

మనిషి అచేతనంగా జీవిస్తాడు. యితరులు చేస్తారు కాబట్టి తనూ ఆ పనులు చేస్తాడు. అనుసరిస్తాడు. అనుకరిస్తాడు. తను పనులు ఎందుకు చేస్తున్నానని ఆలోచించడు. తనెవరో అన్న కనీస స్పృహ కూడా వుండదు. తనెక్కడి నించీ వచ్చానో ఎక్కడికి వెళుతున్నానో కూడా ఆలోచించడు. ధ్యానం ద్వారా వ్యక్తి పరిష్కరించాల్సిన మౌళిక విషయాలివి.

ఎట్లాంటి ఫిలాసఫీ దీనికి సహకరించదు. అవి సమాధానాలిస్తాయి. కానీ అవన్నీ భ్రాంతులే. ధ్యానం అస్తిత్వ సంబంధమైనది. తాత్వికమైంది కాదు. అది నీకు మెలకువ నిస్తుంది. అందువల్ల నిన్ను నువ్వు ఎదుర్కోగలవు. సత్యమే జ్ఞానోదయం. ఆలోచన చేసే నిర్ణయం కాదు. ధ్యానం వల్ల జ్ఞానోదయమవుతుంది.

అది తెలుసుకున్నప్పుడు కర్మ కేవలం భౌతిక అవసరం అవ్వదు. గీత మనల్ని భగవంతుడు సృష్టి చేసిన రీతిన కర్మ ఆచరించమని ఉద్భోదిస్తుంది. భగవంతుడు జీవులను సృష్టించినప్పుడు పరస్పర త్యాగ భావన (సహయజ్ఞం)తో ఉండే పరిస్థితులను సృష్టించాడు. తన దగ్గర ఉన్న దానిని అందరితోనూ పంచుకునేలా, తద్వారా పరస్పర సహకారంతో ముందుకు ఎదిగే అవకాశాన్ని ఇచ్చాడు. ఎలాగంటే ప్రతివారి దగ్గర తన తోటి వారికి అవసరమయ్యేది కొంతైనా ఉంటుంది. తమ అవసరాలు అన్ని తమ దగ్గరే ఉండటం జరగదు. ఎప్పుడూ ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకోవాలి.

🌻 30. The One Soul Permeating All Life 🌻

It is the gospel of the Bhagavadgita that has lifted the dignity of labour and social welfare work above its ordinary meaning generally limited to the physical and empirical circumference of society. While the Bhagavadgita emphasises the need to work as an obligatory call on each and every person, it also enlightens us as to why we should work at all. The reason is not just the material comforts of social existence but a higher demand from the spiritual side of human nature which in a state of insight beholds the one soul permeating all life and the need to present oneself before others in the light of a presence in others of that which is present in oneself also.

Work, then, becomes a larger requirement on the part of man than merely a social necessity. The Gita exhorts us to work and serve as a Superman does, nay, as God Himself operates in creation. We are told that the Creator projected beings together with a compulsion for sacrifice (sahayajna), an impulse to share with others what one has, even as one would wish to share for oneself something of what others have, in a mutual give-and-take system of cooperation, inasmuch as everyone may have something which may be the need of another and no one can have all things that one may require in life.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం :

*గురువు దరిచేరి సత్యము నెరుగుట కొరకై యత్నింపుము. వినయముతో ప్రశ్నలు వేసి సేవను గుర్చుము. ఆత్మదర్శులు తత్త్వదర్శనము చేసినవారగుటచే నీకు జ్ఞానమును ఉపదేశింతురు.*

🌷. భాష్యము :

ఆత్మానుభవమార్గమును నిస్సందేహముగా కటినమైనదికఠినమైనది. కనుకనే తన నుండియే వచ్చిన గురుపరంపరలోని ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువు దరిచేరుమని శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడు ఉపదేశించుచున్నాడు. పరంపరా సిద్ధాంతమును పాటింపక ఎవ్వరును ప్రామాణికుడైన ఆధ్యాత్మికాచార్యులు కాజాలరు. శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుడే ఆది ఆధ్యాత్మికాచార్యుడు. అట్టి భగవానుని నుండి వచ్చుచున్న పరంపరలో నున్నవాడే ఆ ఆదిదేవుని ఉపదేశమును యథాతథముగా తన శిష్యులకు తెలియజేయగలడు. 

స్వీయపధ్ధతిని సృష్టించుట ద్వారా ఎవ్వరును ఆధ్యాత్మికానుభవమును పొందలేరు (మూర్ఖులైన కపటులకు అది మోజు వంటిది). “ధర్మం తు సాక్షాత్ భగవత్ప్రణితం” అని శ్రీమద్భాగవతము (6.3.19) తెలుపుచున్నది. అనగా ధర్మము భగవానుని చేతనే స్వయముగా మార్గమునకు చేర్చజాలవు. 

అదే విధముగా ఎవ్వరినీ సంప్రదింపక స్వతంత్రముగా చేయబడు శాస్త్రాధ్యయనము చేత ఎవ్వరును ఆధ్యాత్మిక పురోభివృద్ధిని సాధింపలేరు. కనుక ప్రతియొక్కరు జ్ఞానమును పొందుటకు తప్పక గురువును సంతృప్తి పరచుటయే ఆధ్యాత్మికజీవన పురోభివృద్ధికి రహస్యము. ప్రశ్నలు మరియు శరణాగతి మరియు సేవ లేనిదే గురువుకు వేయబడు ప్రశ్నలు నిష్ప్రయోజనములు మరియు శక్తిహీనములు కాగలవు. 

ప్రతియొక్కరు గురుపరీక్షలో జయమును సాధింపవలెను. శిష్యుని యందలి శ్రద్ధను గమనించిన గురుదేవుడు అప్రయత్నముగా అతనికి నిజమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికావగాహనను ప్రదానము చేయగలడు. గ్రుడ్డిగా అనుసరించుట మరియు అర్థరహిత ప్రశ్నలు వేయుట రెండును ఈ శ్లోకమునందు నిరసింపబడినవి. 

ప్రతి యొక్కరు గురువు నుండి అణుకవతో శ్రవణము చేయుటయే గాక, అణుకువ, సేవ, పరిప్రశ్నలతో జ్ఞానము యొక్క స్పష్టమైన అవగాహనను సైతము పొందవలసియున్నది. ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువు తన ప్రవృత్తిరీత్యా శిష్యుని యెడ కరుణను కలిగియుండును. కనుక శిష్యుడు అణుకవతో సదా సేవచేయు సిద్ధపడినపుడు అతని జ్ఞానసముపార్జనము మరియు పరిప్రశ్నలు పూర్ణత్వము నొందగలవు.

*34. tad viddhi praṇipātena paripraśnena sevayā*

*upadekṣyanti te jñānaṁ jñāninas tattva-darśinaḥ*

🌷 Translation : 

*Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.*

🌹 Purport :

The path of spiritual realization is undoubtedly difficult. The Lord therefore advises us to approach a bona fide spiritual master in the line of disciplic succession from the Lord Himself. No one can be a bona fide spiritual master without following this principle of disciplic succession.

The Lord is the original spiritual master, and a person in the disciplic succession can convey the message of the Lord as it is to his disciple. No one can be spiritually realized by manufacturing his own process, as is the fashion of the foolish pretenders. The Bhāgavatam (6.3.19) says, dharmaṁ tu sākṣād bhagavat-praṇītam: the path of religion is directly enunciated by the Lord. Therefore, mental speculation or dry arguments cannot help lead one to the right path. 

Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in spiritual life. One has to approach a bona fide spiritual master to receive the knowledge. Such a spiritual master should be accepted in full surrender, and one should serve the spiritual master like a menial servant, without false prestige. Satisfaction of the self-realized spiritual master is the secret of advancement in spiritual life. Inquiries and submission constitute the proper combination for spiritual understanding.

Unless there is submission and service, inquiries from the learned spiritual master will not be effective. One must be able to pass the test of the spiritual master, and when he sees the genuine desire of the disciple, he automatically blesses the disciple with genuine spiritual understanding.

*అది తెలుసుకున్నప్పుడు కర్మ కేవలం భౌతిక అవసరం అవ్వదు. గీత మనల్ని భగవంతుడు సృష్టి చేసిన రీతిన కర్మ ఆచరించమని ఉద్భోదిస్తుంది. భగవంతుడు జీవులను సృష్టించినప్పుడు పరస్పర త్యాగ భావన (సహయజ్ఞం)తో ఉండే పరిస్థితులను సృష్టించాడు. తన దగ్గర ఉన్న దానిని అందరితోనూ పంచుకునేలా, తద్వారా పరస్పర సహకారంతో ముందుకు ఎదిగే అవకాశాన్ని ఇచ్చాడు. ఎలాగంటే ప్రతివారి దగ్గర తన తోటి వారికి అవసరమయ్యేది కొంతైనా ఉంటుంది. తమ అవసరాలు అన్ని తమ దగ్గరే ఉండటం జరగదు. ఎప్పుడూ ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకోవాలి.*

*It is the gospel of the Bhagavadgita that has lifted the dignity of labour and social welfare work above its ordinary meaning generally limited to the physical and empirical circumference of society. While the Bhagavadgita emphasises the need to work as an obligatory call on each and every person, it also enlightens us as to why we should work at all. The reason is not just the material comforts of social existence but a higher demand from the spiritual side of human nature which in a state of insight beholds the one soul permeating all life and the need to present oneself before others in the light of a presence in others of that which is present in oneself also.*

*Work, then, becomes a larger requirement on the part of man than merely a social necessity. The Gita exhorts us to work and serve as a Superman does, nay, as God Himself operates in creation. We are told that the Creator projected beings together with a compulsion for sacrifice (sahayajna), an impulse to share with others what one has, even as one would wish to share for oneself something of what others have, in a mutual give-and-take system of cooperation, inasmuch as everyone may have something which may be the need of another and no one can have all things that one may require in life.*

*అందరును పరిమితత్త్వమును దాటి పరమ పదమున పడయవలెనని బహు విస్తారమగు సృష్టినిర్మాణము గావించి పరిణామమునకు దైవము జీవుల కవకాశము కలిగించు చున్నాడు. జీవునకు దేహము నిచ్చి పోషణము గావించి విద్యాభ్యాసము గావించి దారి చూపు తండ్రి, కుమారుడు తనంతట వాడు కావలెననియే కదా! ఇది సహజమైన ప్రేమ. బాధ్యతతో, ప్రేమతో, కారుణ్యముతో అందించిన అవకాశమును, దుర్వినియోగము చేసుకొను జీవుల నేమన వలయును? అజ్ఞానులవలెను.*

ఈ ప్రత్యక్చితి ఆధారముగనే త్రిగుణాత్మకమగు తత్త్వమున కాధారమైన అవ్యక్తము పుట్టుచున్నది. ఈ బిందువు నుండియే కార్యము, కారణము, నాదము పుట్టుచున్నవి. మరల సృష్టి ప్రళయములోనికి పోవునపుడు కూడ చిట్టచివరగ నుండునది ప్రతీచియే లేక ప్రత్యక్సితియే. అవ్యక్తమైన బ్రహ్మరూపము కలిగి అంతర్గతమైన జ్ఞాన స్వరూపమై నిలచునది ప్రతీచియే. మనము నిద్రనుండి మెలకువ గాంచు స్థితి ఇది. నిద్ర యందు వున్నామని కూడ తెలియదు.

నిద్ర నుండి మెలకువ కలుగుచున్నప్పుడు వున్నామని మెర మెర మాత్ర ముండును. నిద్ర కూడ యుండును. ఇతర భావము లేవియూ వుండవు. తన అస్తిత్వము తన కేర్పడుచుండును. ఇతరము లేవియూ లేవు గనుక అవ్యక్తము. అటుపైన ఏర్పడునవి కారణ, కార్యములు. దానికి మూలము ఇచ్ఛ. ఈ ప్రాగ్ అవస్థను (నిద్ర నుండి మేల్కొనుట) గూర్చి శ్రద్ధతో తదేక దీక్షతో పరిశీలించుట, ధ్యానించుట యోగుల లక్ష్యము. ప్రత్యక్చితి పరమ పదమున నిలిచి యున్న స్థితిగా భావించవచ్చును. అటుపైన వున్నది 'పరా'. ఏమీ లేనట్లుండును.

When She is referred to as the inner consciousness, it means Her un-manifested Brahman form, discussed in nāma-s 397 and 398. This is beautifully explained in Katha Upaniṣad (II.i.1) which says “The Self-created Lord has created the sense organs with the inherent defect that they are by nature outgoing.

This is why beings see things outside and cannot see the Self within. Rarely is there found a wise person seeking immortality, who can withdraw his sense organs from external objects to the Self within.”

🕉. మీరు ఏదో చేస్తున్నప్పుడు-ఏదైనా చెక్కడం, ఏదైనా పెయింటింగ్ చేయడం, ఏదో చెక్కడం--మీరు దానిలో తప్పిపోతారు. అదే మీ ఆనందం, మీ ధ్యానం. కానీ అది పూర్తయ్యాక, సహజంగానే మీరు తిరిగి మనసులోకి వస్తారు, మరియు మనస్సు 'ఏమిటి' అని అడగడం ప్రారంభించ వచ్చు. 🕉

🕉 While you are doing something-carving something, painting something, sculpting something--You are lost in it. That is your joy,your meditation. But when it is finished, naturally you come back to the mind, and the mind can start asking, "What is the point?" 🕉

It is said about Gibbon that when he finished his history of the world,he wept. It had been thirty years' work; day and night, year in, year out, he worked and worked. He had only four hours of sleep and twenty hours of work each day. When it was finished, he wept. His wife could not believe it, his disciples could not believe it. They said, "Why are you weeping?" Everybody was happy that the work was complete, when the greatest record of history wascomplete. But he was crying, "Now what will I do? I am f inished!" And he died within three years; there was nothing else for him to do.

He had always been a young man; the day his work was finished he became old. It happens to every creator: A painter is so passionately in the painting that when it is finished, the feeling arises, "Now what? Why did I do it?" Great awareness is needed to see that the joy of painting is in painting itself. There is no result-the end and the means are not separate. If you are enjoying something, that is the point of it; don't ask for anything else. What more do you need? The attainment is in the very process. You have grown through it; that is the attainment. You have become deeper through it; that is the attainment. You have come closer to the center of your being; that is the attainment. If you are aware, the feeling of pointlessness will disappear.

కృష్ణుడున్నప్పుడే నా బలము అని అర్జునుడు గ్రహించెను. అతడు హస్తినాపురమునకు వచ్చి, రాజ్యపాలకు డైన యుధిష్ఠిరునకు ఇది యంతయు చెప్పెను.

కృష్ణుడు ఈ లోకమును విడచి వెళ్ళిపోయిన తోడనే అర్జునుని అదే ధనస్సు, అవే అస్త్రములు, అదే రథము, అవే గుఱ్ఱములు, అవన్నియు శ్రోత్రియుడు కాని వానికి ఇచ్చిన దానము వలె నష్టమైపోయెను.

ధర్మరాజు ఆ వార్త విని, పరీక్షిత్తును రాజ్యపాలనకై నియోగించి, ఈ సంసార మనిత్య మను విషయము గ్రహించినవాడై, ద్రౌపదియు, సోదరులును వెంట రాగా, మహావిష్ణుని అష్టోత్తరశతనాముములు జపించుచు మహా ప్రస్థానమున బయలుదేరెను.

ఆ మహాప్రస్థానము నందు ద్రౌపది, సహదేవుడు, నకులుడు, అర్జునుడు, భీముడును పడిపోయిరి. రాజు శోకాతురుడయ్యెను. ఆతడు ఇంద్రుడు తీసికొని వచ్చిన రథము నధిరోహించి, సోదరనహితుడై స్వర్గము చేరెను. ఆచట దుర్యోధనాదులను, వాసుదేవుని చూచి సంతసించెను. నీ కీ భారతకథను చెప్పితిని. దీనిని పఠించినవారు స్వర్గమునకు వెళ్లెదరు.

🌻 Ascendance of Pāṇḍavas to heaven - 2 🌻

9-12. Being consoled by Vyāsa, he thought, “My strength remains only in the presence of Kṛṣṇa.” Having come to Hastināpura, Pārtha then informed Yudhiṣṭhira, his brothers and the guards of the people. That bow, those weapons and the chariot and those horses were lost in the absence of Kṛṣṇa, just as a charity made to a person not well learned (would be lost). Having heard that (news), the intelligent Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira), having established Parīkṣīt in the kingdom, set out on his final journey to relinquish this world along with Draupadī and his brothers, after having realized the transitory nature of the mundane existence and repeating 108 (names) of Hari.

13. Draupadī, Sahadeva, Nakula, Phālguna[2] (Arjuna), Bhīma had fallen on the way (of their march). The king was grief-stricken.

14. Mounting the chariot brought by Indra he reached heavens along with his brothers, having seen Duryodhana and others and Vāsudeva and becoming happy. This is (the story of) Bhārata told to you. Whoever reads this, goes to heaven.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

ధర్ముని ఈ మాటలను విని మహేశ్వరుడు నవ్వి, దయా దృష్టితో చూచి శయ్యను వీడెను (33). 'ఓ ధర్మా! నీవు ముందు అచటకు వెళ్లుము. నేను కూడా శీఘ్రమే రాగలను. సందేహము వలదు' అని ఆయన నవ్వి పలికెను (34). శంకరుడిట్లు పలుకగా ఆతడు జనుల నివాసమునకు వెళ్లెను. శంభు ప్రభుడు కూడా అచటకు స్వయముగా వెళ్లవలెనని తలంచెను (35).

ఆ విషయము తెలిసి స్త్రీలందరు అచటకు గొప్ప ఉత్సాహముతో వచ్చిరి. వారు శంభుని పాద ద్వయమును చూచుచూ మంగళ గానములను పాడిరి (36). అపుడు శంభుడు లోకాచారమునను సరించి ప్రాతః కృత్యములను పూర్తి చేసుకొని మేనా హిమవంతుల అనుమతిని తీసుకొని జనావాసమునకు వెళ్లెను (37). ఓ మునీ! అపుడు మహోత్సవమారంభమాయెను. వేదధ్వని మొదలాయెను. జనులు నాల్గు విధముల వాద్యములను మ్రోగించిరి (38).

శంభుడు అపుడు తన స్థానమునకు వచ్చి లోకాచారముననుసరించి మునులను, విష్ణువును, నన్ను నమస్కరించెను. దేవతలు మొదలగు వారు ఆయనకు నమస్కరించిరి (39). తరువాత జయధ్వానములు, సమశ్శబ్దములు, శుభకరమగు వేదధ్వని కలిసి పెద్ద కోలాహలము ప్రవర్తిల్లెను (40).

శ్రీ శివ మహాపురాణములోని రుద్రసంహితయందు పార్వతీఖండలో పెళ్లివారి భోజనమును వర్ణించే ఏబది రెండవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (52).

34. He laughingly said to Dharma—“You go ahead. I shall come there presently. There is no doubt in this matter.

35. Thus addressed by Śiva, he returned to the audience hall. The lord Śiva too wanted to go.

36. On coming to know of it the ladies came enthusiastically. With their eyes fixed on the feet of Śiva, they sang auspicious songs.

37. Śiva then, in accordance with the worldly customs, went through his morning routine. He took leave of Menā and the mountain and went to the audience hall.

38. There was great jubilation there, O sage. Vedic mantras were recited loudly. The people played on the four kinds of musical instruments.

39. Śiva came to His apartment and bowed to the sages, Viṣṇu and me in accordance with the worldly conventions and was saluted by the gods and others.

40. Shouts of Victory and Obeisance rose up along with the auspicious sound of Vedic chants. There was great tumult.

🌟. వైశాఖ శుధ్ద తదియ నే అక్షయ తృతీయగా జరుపుకుంటారు. 3 మే 2022 అక్షయ తృతీయ. ఈ రోజునే సింహాచల వరాహ నరసింహ స్వామి వారి చందనోత్సవం కూడా జరుగుతుంది. స్వామి వారు భక్తులకు నిజరూప దర్శనం ఇస్తారు. అక్షయ తృతీయ ప్రాముఖ్యతలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి. అందులో కొన్ని చూద్దాం.


1. పరశురాముని జన్మదినం.

2. పవిత్ర గంగా నది భూమిని తాకిన పర్వదినం.

3. త్రేతాయుగం మొదలైన దినం.

7. శివుని ప్రార్థించి కుబేరుడు శ్రీమహాలక్ష్మితో సమస్త సంపదలకు సంరక్షకునిగా నియమింపబడిన దినం.

8. ఆదిశంకరులు “కనకధారాస్తవం” ను చెప్పిన దినం.

9. అన్నపూర్ణా దేవి తన అవతారాన్ని స్వీకరించిన దినం.

10. ద్రౌపదిని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు దుశ్శాసనుని బారినుండి కాపాడిన దినం.


🌟. అక్షయ తృతీయ నాడు, మనం చేపట్టిన ఏ కార్య ఫలమైనా, (అది పుణ్యం కావచ్చు, లేదా పాపం కావచ్చు) అక్షయంగా, నిరంతరం, జన్మలతో సంబంధం లేకుండా, మన వెంట వస్తూనే ఉంటుంది.


🌟. పుణ్య కర్మలన్నీ విహితమైనవే. అందునా, ఆ రోజు ఓ కొత్త కుండలో గానీ, కూజాలో గానీ, మంచి నీరు పోసి, దాహార్తులకు శ్రధ్ధతో సమర్పిస్తే, ఎన్ని జన్మలలోనూ, మన జీవుడికి దాహంతో గొంతు ఎండి పోయే పరిస్థితి రాదు.


🌟. అతిధులకు, అభ్యాగతులకు, పెరుగన్నంతో కూడిన భోజనం సమర్పిస్తే, ఏ రోజూ ఆకలితో మనం అలమటించవలసిన రోజు రాదు. వస్త్రదానం వల్ల తదనుగుణ ఫలితం లభిస్తుంది.


🌟. అర్హులకు స్వయంపాకం, దక్షిణ, తాంబూలాదులు సమర్పించుకుంటే, మన ఉత్తర జన్మలలో, వాటికి లోటు రాదు. గొడుగులు, చెప్పులు, విసన కర్రల లాటివి దానం చేసుకోవచ్చు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆ రోజు నిషిధ్ధ కర్మల జోలికి వెళ్ళక పోవడం ఎంతో శ్రేయస్కరం.

*🌟. వైశాఖ శుధ్ద తదియ నే అక్షయ తృతీయగా జరుపుకుంటారు. 3 మే 2022 అక్షయ తృతీయ. ఈ రోజునే సింహాచల వరాహ నరసింహ స్వామి వారి చందనోత్సవం కూడా జరుగుతుంది. స్వామి వారు భక్తులకు నిజరూప దర్శనం ఇస్తారు. అక్షయ తృతీయ ప్రాముఖ్యతలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి. అందులో కొన్ని చూద్దాం.*

1. పరశురాముని జన్మదినం.

2. పవిత్ర గంగా నది భూమిని తాకిన పర్వదినం.

3. త్రేతాయుగం మొదలైన దినం.

4. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు తన బాల్యమిత్రుడైన కుచేలుని కలుసుకొన్న దినం.

5. వ్యాస మహర్షి “మహా భారతము”ను, వినాయకుని సహాయముతో, వ్రాయడం మొదలుపెట్టిన దినం.

6. సూర్య భగవానుడు అజ్ఞాతవాసములో వున్న పాండవులకు “అక్షయ పాత్ర” ఇచ్చిన దినం.

7. శివుని ప్రార్థించి కుబేరుడు శ్రీమహాలక్ష్మితో సమస్త సంపదలకు సంరక్షకునిగా నియమింపబడిన దినం.

8. ఆదిశంకరులు “కనకధారాస్తవం” ను చెప్పిన దినం.

9. అన్నపూర్ణా దేవి తన అవతారాన్ని స్వీకరించిన దినం.

10. ద్రౌపదిని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు దుశ్శాసనుని బారినుండి కాపాడిన దినం.

🌟. అక్షయ తృతీయ నాడు, మనం చేపట్టిన ఏ కార్య ఫలమైనా, (అది పుణ్యం కావచ్చు, లేదా పాపం కావచ్చు) అక్షయంగా, నిరంతరం, జన్మలతో సంబంధం లేకుండా, మన వెంట వస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. 

🌟. పుణ్య కర్మలన్నీ విహితమైనవే. అందునా, ఆ రోజు ఓ కొత్త కుండలో గానీ, కూజాలో గానీ, మంచి నీరు పోసి, దాహార్తులకు శ్రధ్ధతో సమర్పిస్తే, ఎన్ని జన్మలలోనూ, మన జీవుడికి దాహంతో గొంతు ఎండి పోయే పరిస్థితి రాదు. 

🌟. అతిధులకు, అభ్యాగతులకు, పెరుగన్నంతో కూడిన భోజనం సమర్పిస్తే, ఏ రోజూ ఆకలితో మనం అలమటించవలసిన రోజు రాదు. వస్త్రదానం వల్ల తదనుగుణ ఫలితం లభిస్తుంది. 

🌟. అర్హులకు స్వయంపాకం, దక్షిణ, తాంబూలాదులు సమర్పించుకుంటే, మన ఉత్తర జన్మలలో, వాటికి లోటు రాదు. గొడుగులు, చెప్పులు, విసన కర్రల లాటివి దానం చేసుకోవచ్చు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆ రోజు నిషిధ్ధ కర్మల జోలికి వెళ్ళక పోవడం ఎంతో శ్రేయస్కరం.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

ధర్ముని ఈ మాటలను విని మహేశ్వరుడు నవ్వి, దయా దృష్టితో చూచి శయ్యను వీడెను (33). 'ఓ ధర్మా! నీవు ముందు అచటకు వెళ్లుము. నేను కూడా శీఘ్రమే రాగలను. సందేహము వలదు' అని ఆయన నవ్వి పలికెను (34). శంకరుడిట్లు పలుకగా ఆతడు జనుల నివాసమునకు వెళ్లెను. శంభు ప్రభుడు కూడా అచటకు స్వయముగా వెళ్లవలెనని తలంచెను (35). 

ఆ విషయము తెలిసి స్త్రీలందరు అచటకు గొప్ప ఉత్సాహముతో వచ్చిరి. వారు శంభుని పాద ద్వయమును చూచుచూ మంగళ గానములను పాడిరి (36). అపుడు శంభుడు లోకాచారమునను సరించి ప్రాతః కృత్యములను పూర్తి చేసుకొని మేనా హిమవంతుల అనుమతిని తీసుకొని జనావాసమునకు వెళ్లెను (37). ఓ మునీ! అపుడు మహోత్సవమారంభమాయెను. వేదధ్వని మొదలాయెను. జనులు నాల్గు విధముల వాద్యములను మ్రోగించిరి (38). 

శంభుడు అపుడు తన స్థానమునకు వచ్చి లోకాచారముననుసరించి మునులను, విష్ణువును, నన్ను నమస్కరించెను. దేవతలు మొదలగు వారు ఆయనకు నమస్కరించిరి (39). తరువాత జయధ్వానములు, సమశ్శబ్దములు, శుభకరమగు వేదధ్వని కలిసి పెద్ద కోలాహలము ప్రవర్తిల్లెను (40).

శ్రీ శివ మహాపురాణములోని రుద్రసంహితయందు పార్వతీఖండలో పెళ్లివారి భోజనమును వర్ణించే ఏబది రెండవ అధ్యాయము ముగిసినది (52).

33. On hearing these words of Dharma lord Śiva laughed. He surveyed him with sympathetic looks and got up from the bed.

34. He laughingly said to Dharma—“You go ahead. I shall come there presently. There is no doubt in this matter.

35. Thus addressed by Śiva, he returned to the audience hall. The lord Śiva too wanted to go.

36. On coming to know of it the ladies came enthusiastically. With their eyes fixed on the feet of Śiva, they sang auspicious songs.

37. Śiva then, in accordance with the worldly customs, went through his morning routine. He took leave of Menā and the mountain and went to the audience hall.

38. There was great jubilation there, O sage. Vedic mantras were recited loudly. The people played on the four kinds of musical instruments.

39. Śiva came to His apartment and bowed to the sages, Viṣṇu and me in accordance with the worldly conventions and was saluted by the gods and others.

40. Shouts of Victory and Obeisance rose up along with the auspicious sound of Vedic chants. There was great tumult.

కృష్ణుడు ఈ లోకమును విడచి వెళ్ళిపోయిన తోడనే అర్జునుని అదే ధనస్సు, అవే అస్త్రములు, అదే రథము, అవే గుఱ్ఱములు, అవన్నియు శ్రోత్రియుడు కాని వానికి ఇచ్చిన దానము వలె నష్టమైపోయెను.

ధర్మరాజు ఆ వార్త విని, పరీక్షిత్తును రాజ్యపాలనకై నియోగించి, ఈ సంసార మనిత్య మను విషయము గ్రహించినవాడై, ద్రౌపదియు, సోదరులును వెంట రాగా, మహావిష్ణుని అష్టోత్తరశతనాముములు జపించుచు మహా ప్రస్థానమున బయలుదేరెను.

ఆ మహాప్రస్థానము నందు ద్రౌపది, సహదేవుడు, నకులుడు, అర్జునుడు, భీముడును పడిపోయిరి. రాజు శోకాతురుడయ్యెను. ఆతడు ఇంద్రుడు తీసికొని వచ్చిన రథము నధిరోహించి, సోదరనహితుడై స్వర్గము చేరెను. ఆచట దుర్యోధనాదులను, వాసుదేవుని చూచి సంతసించెను. నీ కీ భారతకథను చెప్పితిని. దీనిని పఠించినవారు స్వర్గమునకు వెళ్లెదరు.

Being consoled by Vyāsa, he thought, “My strength remains only in the presence of Kṛṣṇa.” Having come to Hastināpura, Pārtha then informed Yudhiṣṭhira, his brothers and the guards of the people. That bow, those weapons and the chariot and those horses were lost in the absence of Kṛṣṇa, just as a charity made to a person not well learned (would be lost). Having heard that (news), the intelligent Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira), having established Parīkṣīt in the kingdom, set out on his final journey to relinquish this world along with Draupadī and his brothers, after having realized the transitory nature of the mundane existence and repeating 108 (names) of Hari.

13. Draupadī, Sahadeva, Nakula, Phālguna[2] (Arjuna), Bhīma had fallen on the way (of their march). The king was grief-stricken.

14. Mounting the chariot brought by Indra he reached heavens along with his brothers, having seen Duryodhana and others and Vāsudeva and becoming happy. This is (the story of) Bhārata told to you. Whoever reads this, goes to heaven.

*🕉 While you are doing something-carving something, painting something, sculpting something--You are lost in it. That is your joy,your meditation. But when it is finished, naturally you come back to the mind, and the mind can start asking, "What is the point?" 🕉*

 

*It is said about Gibbon that when he finished his history of the world,he wept. It had been thirty years' work; day and night, year in, year out, he worked and worked. He had only four hours of sleep and twenty hours of work each day. When it was finished, he wept. His wife could not believe it, his disciples could not believe it. They said, "Why are you weeping?" Everybody was happy that the work was complete, when the greatest record of history wascomplete. But he was crying, "Now what will I do? I am f inished!" And he died within three years; there was nothing else for him to do.*

*He had always been a young man; the day his work was finished he became old. It happens to every creator: A painter is so passionately in the painting that when it is finished, the feeling arises, "Now what? Why did I do it?" Great awareness is needed to see that the joy of painting is in painting itself. There is no result-the end and the means are not separate. If you are enjoying something, that is the point of it; don't ask for anything else. What more do you need? The attainment is in the very process. You have grown through it; that is the attainment. You have become deeper through it; that is the attainment. You have come closer to the center of your being; that is the attainment. If you are aware, the feeling of pointlessness will disappear.*

*🍀 81. పరా, ప్రత్యక్చితీ రూపా, పశ్యంతీ, పరదేవతా ।*

*మధ్యమా, వైఖరీరూపా, భక్తమానస హంసికా ॥ 81 ॥ 🍀*

*🌻 367-2.‘ప్రత్యక్చితీ’🌻* 

*ఈ ప్రత్యక్చితి ఆధారముగనే త్రిగుణాత్మకమగు తత్త్వమున కాధారమైన అవ్యక్తము పుట్టుచున్నది. ఈ బిందువు నుండియే కార్యము, కారణము, నాదము పుట్టుచున్నవి. మరల సృష్టి ప్రళయములోనికి పోవునపుడు కూడ చిట్టచివరగ నుండునది ప్రతీచియే లేక ప్రత్యక్సితియే. అవ్యక్తమైన బ్రహ్మరూపము కలిగి అంతర్గతమైన జ్ఞాన స్వరూపమై నిలచునది ప్రతీచియే. మనము నిద్రనుండి మెలకువ గాంచు స్థితి ఇది. నిద్ర యందు వున్నామని కూడ తెలియదు.*

*నిద్ర నుండి మెలకువ కలుగుచున్నప్పుడు వున్నామని మెర మెర మాత్ర ముండును. నిద్ర కూడ యుండును. ఇతర భావము లేవియూ వుండవు. తన అస్తిత్వము తన కేర్పడుచుండును. ఇతరము లేవియూ లేవు గనుక అవ్యక్తము. అటుపైన ఏర్పడునవి కారణ, కార్యములు. దానికి మూలము ఇచ్ఛ. ఈ ప్రాగ్ అవస్థను (నిద్ర నుండి మేల్కొనుట) గూర్చి శ్రద్ధతో తదేక దీక్షతో పరిశీలించుట, ధ్యానించుట యోగుల లక్ష్యము. ప్రత్యక్చితి పరమ పదమున నిలిచి యున్న స్థితిగా భావించవచ్చును. అటుపైన వున్నది 'పరా'. ఏమీ లేనట్లుండును.*

*When She is referred to as the inner consciousness, it means Her un-manifested Brahman form, discussed in nāma-s 397 and 398. This is beautifully explained in Katha Upaniṣad (II.i.1) which says “The Self-created Lord has created the sense organs with the inherent defect that they are by nature outgoing.*

*This is why beings see things outside and cannot see the Self within. Rarely is there found a wise person seeking immortality, who can withdraw his sense organs from external objects to the Self within.”*
