🌻 283. 'సహస్రాక్షీ' - 1 🌻

వెయ్యి కన్నులు కలది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. అక్ష మనగా కేంద్రమునుండి పరిధికి చేరు రేఖ. వేయి అక్షములుగ కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించునది అని అర్థము. కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి 360 కోణములు కలవు. మూడు లోకముల యందు కేంద్రమునుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము.

ప్రధానముగ ప్రతిబింబించు మూడు లోకములు ముందు నామమున తెలుపబడినవి. ఈ లోకము లన్నియూ ఏర్పరచుటకు శ్రీమాత తానే కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించినది. సృష్టియందు ఏ వస్తువున కైనను అణువున కైననూ కేంద్రము శుద్ధ చైతన్యము. ఆ చైతన్య మాధారముగనే ఆయా అణువులు, అణువుల సముదాయములు రూపము గట్టుకొను చుండును. కేంద్రమాధారముగ త్రిగుణ మేర్పడి, త్రిగుణ స్వభావము ననుసరించి రూపమేర్పడుచు నుండును.

పరమాణువు నుండి బ్రహ్మాండము వఱకు ఇట్లే వ్యాప్తి చెందుచూ రూపములు కట్టుకొనుచుండును. పరమాణువు, పరాశక్తి పరమశివుని సమ్మేళనము. అటు నుండి వ్యాపించిన దంతయు త్రిగుణాత్మకమగు శక్తి చైతన్యమే. వ్యాపించిన సమస్తము నందు పరమ శివతత్త్వము నివాసముండును.

🍀. ఆమోదం తెలిపే హృదయంతో దైవాన్ని సమీపించేది ప్రార్ధన. అది అస్తిత్వానికి దగ్గరి దారి 🍀

ప్రార్ధన అంటే దేవుణ్ణి కీర్తించేది. సందేహం, విమర్శ, వ్యతిరేకత లేని హృదయంతో, ఆమోదం తెలిపే హృదయంతో దైవాన్ని సమీపించేది ప్రార్ధన. ఈ అనంత సౌందర్యానికి ఆశ్చర్యంతో హృదయం చేసే నాట్యం పాడే పాట ప్రార్థన.

ఈ ప్రపంచం దైవం మనకిచ్చిన అపూర్వమయిన బహుమానం. దానికి మనం అర్హులం కాము. దానికి మనం ప్రతిఫలం యివ్వలేం. ఫలితంగా మనం చెయ్యగలిగిందల్లా ప్రార్థన. అపుడు ప్రతిదీ సాధ్యమే. అపుడు అసాధ్యం కూడా సాధ్యమే. కాబట్టి ప్రార్థన మార్గంగా వుడనీ. వీలయినన్ని మార్గాల్లో కీర్తించు. ఎట్లాంటి ఆరోపణలూ చెయ్యకు. ఎప్పుడూ ఆరోపణలు చేసే మనసును వదిలి పెట్టు.

ఇక్కడ నిర్ణయమన్నది ప్రాముఖ్యం వహిస్తుంది. ఆరోపించే పాత అలవాటును వదులుకుంటే సమస్త శక్తి ప్రార్థన గుండా సాగుతుంది. ప్రార్థన ఆశీర్వాదాల్ని తెస్తుంది. వీలయినన్ని మార్గాల్లో ప్రార్థించు. సూర్యోదయాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, మేఘాల్ని ప్రార్థించు, వృక్షాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, సూర్యాస్తమయాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, పక్షుల్ని, ప్రజల్ని ప్రార్థించు.

ప్రార్థనలో సంకుచితంగా వుండకు, లోభిగా వుండకు. హృదయపూర్వకంగా ప్రార్థించు. వీలయినంత సమగ్రంగా వుండు. అపుడు అస్తిత్వానికి మరింత, మరింత సన్నిహితంగా వెళతావు. అది వంతెనలా మారుతుంది. అది అస్తిత్వానికి దగ్గరి దారి. ధ్యానమన్నది దూరమయిన దారి. ప్రార్థన అన్నది దగ్గరి దారి.

🌻 85. ఒక రహస్యము 🌻

నీకు నీవే సహాయపడుము. ఇతరులకు కూడ సహాయ పడుము. వీలున్నంత వరకు సహాయము నర్థింపకుము. ఇది యొక శాసనము. తనకుతాను సహాయపడువాడే ఇతరులకు కూడ సహాయ పడగలడు. పూర్వము ఒక మహారాజు వుండెడివాడు. అతనికి నిద్ర పట్టుట లేదు. రాజగురువును పిలిచి తన పరిస్థితిని వివరించినాడు. రాజగురువు రాజును నిర్దేశించి “నీ నిద్రించు పాన్పు ఒక్కసారి పరిశీలింపుము" అని పలికెను.

రాజు భటులను పిలిచి పాన్పు పరిశీలింప చేసెను. అందొక రాతి బెడ్డ యున్నది. వారది చూపించి నారు. అదియే కారణమైయుండునని భావించి రాజు మరునాడు పాన్పుపై పరుండెను. ఆ రాత్రియు రాజుకు నిద్దుర పట్టలేదు. రాజు గురువును మరల ప్రశ్నించెను. రాజగురువు మరల అదే సమాధాన మిచ్చెను. రాజు మరల పాన్పును పరిశీలింపచేసెను. తలగడ క్రింద చచ్చిన బల్లి యొకటి కనపడెను. రాజు భటులపై కోపించెను. మరుసటి రాత్రి మరల నిద్రించెను. నిద్దుర పట్టలేదు. రాజు విసుగు చెందెను. రాజు గురువును కారణమేమి యని అడిగెను. గురువిట్లనెను.

“రాజా నీ పరుపును నిన్ను పరిశీలించుకొనమంటిని. ఆ పని నీ వొకరికి అప్పచెప్పితివి. నీ కన్నులతో నీవే పరిశీలించుకొనుట మంచిది. నీ వట్లు చేయుట లేదు. అదియే కారణము” అని పలికెను. ఆ రాత్రి రాజు తానుగపాన్పును క్షుణ్ణముగ పరిశీలించెను. అందొక అయస్కాంతమున్నది. ఆశ్చర్యపడినాడు. దానిని తీసివేసి నిద్ర కుపక్రమించెను. నిద్రించెను. మరునాడు ఉదయమే రాజ గురువు వచ్చి నిద్ర పట్టినదా? యని యడిగెను. రాజు నవ్వుచు సంతృప్తిగ తలవూపెను. రాజ గురువు యిట్లనెను. “కారణము అయస్కాంత మను కొనుచున్నావా? కాదు సుమా! నీ పని నీవు చేసుకొనుటయే నీ నిదురకు కారణము.” తమ పని తాము చేయనివారికి నిదుర పట్టదు. చేయించుకొను వారికసలే పట్టదు. తమకు, యితరులకు కూడ సహాయము చేయుచు శ్రమించువారికి నిదుర పట్టును. ఇదియొక రహస్యము.

318. ఎపుడైతే బ్రహ్మాన్ని తెలుసుకోవాలని కోరిక స్థిరమవుతుందో, అపుడు అహం యొక్క భావనలు వెంటనే తొలగిపోతాయి. ఉదయిస్తున్న సూర్యుని ప్రకాశము వలన గాఢమైన చీకటి పూర్తిగా తొలగిపోతుంది కదా!

319. చీకటి, దానినంటి ఉన్న అనేకమైన చెడులు సూర్యోదయము తరువాత కనిపించవు. అదే విధముగా పరమాత్మ స్థితిని పొందిన తరువాత బంధనాలు మరియు దుఃఖాలు పూర్తిగా తొలగిపోతాయి.

320. బాహ్యమైన, అంతర్గతమైన విశ్వ భావనలు ఏవైన ఉన్నవో అవన్ని తొలగిపోతాయి. అందుకు సత్యమైన బ్రహ్మానంద స్థితిని గూర్చి ధ్యానము చేయాలి. ప్రతి వ్యక్తి, ప్రతి క్షణాన్ని జాగ్రత్తగా గమనిస్తూ ఉన్నచో, ప్రారబ్దము వలన మిగిలి ఉన్న కర్మఫలితాన్ని తొలగిపోతాయి.

గొప్పవియగు అన్నమయాదికోశములు ఆచ్ఛాదకములుగా అనగా ఈతనిని అనుభవగోచరుని కానీయక కప్పివేయునవిగానున్నవి కావున 'మహాకోశః' అనబడుచున్నాడు. అన్నమయాది పంచకోశముల తత్త్వములను విచారణ చేసి అవి ఏవియు పరతత్త్వము కావని త్రోసివేయగా ఆ కప్పు తొలగగానే పరమాత్మ తత్త్వము గోచరమగును అని భావము.

One who has got as His covering the great kośās or material sheaths like Annamaya, Prāṇamaya etc that do not let the experience of Him. Once the truth of these concealing sheaths is experienced, He can come to experience - this is the implication.

తాత్పర్యం :

ఇంద్రియములను శోషింపజేయునటువంటి ఈ శోకనును తొలగించుకొను మార్గమును నేను గాంచలేకున్నాను. దేవతల స్వర్గాధిపత్యమువలె సంపత్సమృద్ధమును మరియు శత్రురహితమును అగు రాజ్యమును ధరత్రిపై సాధించినను ఈ శోకమును నేను తొలగించుకొనజాలను.

భాష్యము :

ధర్మనియమములు, నీతి నియమముల జ్ఞానముపై ఆధారపడిన పలువాదములను అర్జునుడు ప్రతిపాదించుచున్నాను తన నిజమైన సమస్యను గురువైన శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని సహాయము లేకుండా పరిష్కరించుకొనజాలనట్లు విదితమగుచున్నది. స్వీయమనుగుడనే శోషింపజేయునట్టి సమస్యలను నివారించుటలో తన నామమాత్ర జ్ఞానము వ్యర్థమని అతడు అవగతము చేసికొనగలిగెను.

శ్రీకృష్ణభగవానుని వంటి గురువు సహాయము లేకుండా అట్టి కలతలకు పరిష్కారమును గూర్చుట అతనికి అసాధ్యము. పుస్తకజ్ఞానము, పాండిత్యము, ఉన్నతపదవుల వంటివి జీవితసమస్యలకు పరిష్కారము నొసగుటలో వ్యర్తములై యున్నవి. శ్రీకృష్ణుని వంటి గురువొక్కడే సమస్యా పరిష్కారమునకు సహాయము చేయగలడు.

కనుక సారంశమేమనగా నూటికినూరుపాళ్ళు కృష్ణభక్తిరసభావితుడైన గురువే ప్రామాణికుడైన గురువు. ఏలయన అట్టివాడే జీవితసమస్యలను పరిష్కరింపగలడు. కృష్ణసంబంధ విజ్ఞానముణ నిష్ణాతుడైనవాడు నిజమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువని శ్రీచైతన్యమాహాప్రభువు తెలిపిరి. దానికి అతని సాంఘికస్థాయి ఏ విధముగను అవరోధము కాజాలదు.

కిబా విప్ర, కిబా న్యాసి, శూద్ర కేనే నయ |

యై కృష్ణతత్త్వవేత్తా, సేఇ గురు హయ ||

“కృష్ణసంబంధ విజ్ఞానమునందు మనుజుడు నిష్ణాతుడైనచో అతడు విప్రుడైనను (వేదజ్ఞానపండితుడు) లేదా హీనకులజుడైనను లేదా సన్న్యాసియైనను సరియే, అతడే పూర్ణుడైన ప్రామాణిక ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువై యున్నాడు” (చైతన్య చరితామృత ,మధ్య 8.128). అనగా కృష్ణసంబంధ విజ్ఞానమున నిష్ణాతుడు కానిదే ఎవ్వరును ప్రామాణిక ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువు కాజాలరు.

8. na hi prapaśyāmi mamāpanudyād yac chokam ucchoṣaṇam indriyāṇām avāpya bhūmāv asapatnam ṛddhaṁ rājyaṁ surāṇām api cādhipatyam

Translation :

I can ﬁnd no means to drive away this grief which is drying up my senses. I will not be able to dispel it even if I win a prosperous, unrivaled kingdom on earth with sovereignty like the demigods in heaven.

Purport :

Although Arjuna was putting forward so many arguments based on knowledge of the principles of religion and moral codes, it appears that he was unable to solve his real problem without the help of the spiritual master, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. He could understand that his so-called knowledge was useless in driving away his problems, which were drying up his whole existence; and it was impossible for him to solve such perplexities without the help of a spiritual master like Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Academic knowledge, scholarship, high position, etc., are all useless in solving the problems of life; help can be given only by a spiritual master like Kṛṣṇa. Therefore, the conclusion is that a spiritual master who is one hundred percent Kṛṣṇa conscious is the bona ﬁde spiritual master, for he can solve the problems of life. Lord Caitanya said that one who is a master in the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, regardless of his social position, is the real spiritual master.

kibā vipra, kibā nyāsī, śūdra kene naya

yei kṛṣṇa-tattva-vettā, sei ‘guru’ haya

“It does not matter whether a person is a vipra [learned scholar in Vedic wisdom], or is born in a lower family, or is in the renounced order of life – if he is a master in the science of Kṛṣṇa, he is the perfect and bona ﬁde spiritual master.” (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya 8.128) So without being a master in the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, no one is a bona ﬁde spiritual master.

నీకు నీవే సహాయపడుము. ఇతరులకు కూడ సహాయ పడుము. వీలున్నంత వరకు సహాయము నర్థింపకుము. ఇది యొక శాసనము. తనకుతాను సహాయపడువాడే ఇతరులకు కూడ సహాయ పడగలడు. పూర్వము ఒక మహారాజు వుండెడివాడు. అతనికి నిద్ర పట్టుట లేదు. రాజగురువును పిలిచి తన పరిస్థితిని వివరించినాడు. రాజగురువు రాజును నిర్దేశించి “నీ నిద్రించు పాన్పు ఒక్కసారి పరిశీలింపుము" అని పలికెను.

రాజు భటులను పిలిచి పాన్పు పరిశీలింప చేసెను. అందొక రాతి బెడ్డ యున్నది. వారది చూపించి నారు. అదియే కారణమైయుండునని భావించి రాజు మరునాడు పాన్పుపై పరుండెను. ఆ రాత్రియు రాజుకు నిద్దుర పట్టలేదు. రాజు గురువును మరల ప్రశ్నించెను. రాజగురువు మరల అదే సమాధాన మిచ్చెను. రాజు మరల పాన్పును పరిశీలింపచేసెను. తలగడ క్రింద చచ్చిన బల్లి యొకటి కనపడెను. రాజు భటులపై కోపించెను. మరుసటి రాత్రి మరల నిద్రించెను. నిద్దుర పట్టలేదు. రాజు విసుగు చెందెను. రాజు గురువును కారణమేమి యని అడిగెను. గురువిట్లనెను.

“రాజా నీ పరుపును నిన్ను పరిశీలించుకొనమంటిని. ఆ పని నీ వొకరికి అప్పచెప్పితివి. నీ కన్నులతో నీవే పరిశీలించుకొనుట మంచిది. నీ వట్లు చేయుట లేదు. అదియే కారణము” అని పలికెను. ఆ రాత్రి రాజు తానుగపాన్పును క్షుణ్ణముగ పరిశీలించెను. అందొక అయస్కాంతమున్నది. ఆశ్చర్యపడినాడు. దానిని తీసివేసి నిద్ర కుపక్రమించెను. నిద్రించెను. మరునాడు ఉదయమే రాజ గురువు వచ్చి నిద్ర పట్టినదా? యని యడిగెను. రాజు నవ్వుచు సంతృప్తిగ తలవూపెను. రాజ గురువు యిట్లనెను. “కారణము అయస్కాంత మను కొనుచున్నావా? కాదు సుమా! నీ పని నీవు చేసుకొనుటయే నీ నిదురకు కారణము.” తమ పని తాము చేయనివారికి నిదుర పట్టదు. చేయించుకొను వారికసలే పట్టదు. తమకు, యితరులకు కూడ సహాయము చేయుచు శ్రమించువారికి నిదుర పట్టును. ఇదియొక రహస్యము.

ప్రార్ధన అంటే దేవుణ్ణి కీర్తించేది. సందేహం, విమర్శ, వ్యతిరేకత లేని హృదయంతో, ఆమోదం తెలిపే హృదయంతో దైవాన్ని సమీపించేది ప్రార్ధన. ఈ అనంత సౌందర్యానికి ఆశ్చర్యంతో హృదయం చేసే నాట్యం పాడే పాట ప్రార్థన.

ఈ ప్రపంచం దైవం మనకిచ్చిన అపూర్వమయిన బహుమానం. దానికి మనం అర్హులం కాము. దానికి మనం ప్రతిఫలం యివ్వలేం. ఫలితంగా మనం చెయ్యగలిగిందల్లా ప్రార్థన. అపుడు ప్రతిదీ సాధ్యమే. అపుడు అసాధ్యం కూడా సాధ్యమే. కాబట్టి ప్రార్థన మార్గంగా వుడనీ. వీలయినన్ని మార్గాల్లో కీర్తించు. ఎట్లాంటి ఆరోపణలూ చెయ్యకు. ఎప్పుడూ ఆరోపణలు చేసే మనసును వదిలి పెట్టు.

ఇక్కడ నిర్ణయమన్నది ప్రాముఖ్యం వహిస్తుంది. ఆరోపించే పాత అలవాటును వదులుకుంటే సమస్త శక్తి ప్రార్థన గుండా సాగుతుంది. ప్రార్థన ఆశీర్వాదాల్ని తెస్తుంది. వీలయినన్ని మార్గాల్లో ప్రార్థించు. సూర్యోదయాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, మేఘాల్ని ప్రార్థించు, వృక్షాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, సూర్యాస్తమయాన్ని ప్రార్థించు, పక్షుల్ని, ప్రజల్ని ప్రార్థించు.

ప్రార్థనలో సంకుచితంగా వుండకు, లోభిగా వుండకు. హృదయపూర్వకంగా ప్రార్థించు. వీలయినంత సమగ్రంగా వుండు. అపుడు అస్తిత్వానికి మరింత, మరింత సన్నిహితంగా వెళతావు. అది వంతెనలా మారుతుంది. అది అస్తిత్వానికి దగ్గరి దారి. ధ్యానమన్నది దూరమయిన దారి. ప్రార్థన అన్నది దగ్గరి దారి.

వెయ్యి కన్నులు కలది శ్రీమాత అని అర్ధము. అక్ష మనగా కేంద్రమునుండి పరిధికి చేరు రేఖ. వేయి అక్షములుగ కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించునది అని అర్థము. కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి 360 కోణములు కలవు. మూడు లోకముల యందు కేంద్రమునుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించునది శ్రీమాత అని అర్థము.

ప్రధానముగ ప్రతిబింబించు మూడు లోకములు ముందు నామమున తెలుపబడినవి. ఈ లోకము లన్నియూ ఏర్పరచుటకు శ్రీమాత తానే కేంద్రము నుండి పరిధికి వ్యాపించినది. సృష్టియందు ఏ వస్తువున కైనను అణువున కైననూ కేంద్రము శుద్ధ చైతన్యము. ఆ చైతన్య మాధారముగనే ఆయా అణువులు, అణువుల సముదాయములు రూపము గట్టుకొను చుండును. కేంద్రమాధారముగ త్రిగుణ మేర్పడి, త్రిగుణ స్వభావము ననుసరించి రూపమేర్పడుచు నుండును.

పరమాణువు నుండి బ్రహ్మాండము వఱకు ఇట్లే వ్యాప్తి చెందుచూ రూపములు కట్టుకొనుచుండును. పరమాణువు, పరాశక్తి పరమశివుని సమ్మేళనము. అటు నుండి వ్యాపించిన దంతయు త్రిగుణాత్మకమగు శక్తి చైతన్యమే. వ్యాపించిన సమస్తము నందు పరమ శివతత్త్వము నివాసముండును.

నిరంతర దీక్షలలో ఉన్నవారు, యజ్ఞయాగాదులు ఆచరించు వారు కూడ నిత్య జీవితమున పరిసర వ్యక్తుల యందు విరోధములు పెట్టుకొను వారు కలరు.

కోర్టులో శత్రువును గెలుచుటకై ఆంజనేయ మంత్రము జపించువారు కలరు.

తనను తిట్టినవాడు నశింపవలెనని ఒకడు మిరియములతో హోమము చేయును.

ఒక్కొక్కడు గంధపు చెక్కలతో , నేతితో హోమము చేయును. ద్రవ్యములు ఎంత మంచివైనను వైరము మనస్సున ఉన్నది కనుక అది తామసోపాసనము.

క్రీస్తును నమ్మనివారు పాపులని క్రీస్తు భక్తుడు ద్వేషించును. అతడెంత ప్రార్థన చేసినను మనస్సున ఉన్నది పాపులే గాని క్రీస్తు కాదు.

ఇట్టి భక్తి వలన లాభము లేదు.

🌻. దేవతలు శివునితో మొరపెట్టుకొనుట - 2 🌻

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను-

శంభుని ఈ మాటలను విని దేవతలందరు ఆనందముతో నిండినవారై, శంభునకు విన్నవించు కొరకై విష్ణువు యొక్క ముఖము వైపునకు చూచిరి (11). అపుడు మహాభక్తుడు, దేవతలకు మేలు చేయువాడునగు విష్ణువు గొప్ప దేవకార్యమును సాధింపగోరి నేను చెప్పిన ఈ మాటలను పలికెను (12). హే శంభో! తారకుడు దేవతలకు పరమాశ్చర్యకరమగు పద్ధతిలో తీవ్రవేదనలను కలిగించుచున్నాడు. ఆ సంగతిని విన్నవించుటకై దేవతలందరు ఇచటకు వచ్చియున్నారు (13). హే శంభో! నీనుండి జన్మించిన నీ కుమారుని చేతిలో మాత్రమే ఈ తారకాసురుడు హతుడగును. నామాట తప్పు గాదు (14).

ఓ మహాదేవా! నీవీ విషయమును విమర్శించి దయను చూపుము. నీకు నమస్కారమగు గాక! ఓ స్వామీ! తారకుడు కలిగించిన కష్టములనుండి దేవతలను ఉద్ధరించుము (15). హే దేవా! శంభో! కావున నీవు నీ కుడిచేతితో పార్వతిని స్వీకరించవలెను. పర్వతరాజు సమర్పించగా మహాపతివ్రతయగు ఆమెను పాణి గ్రహణము చేయుము (16). విష్ణువు యొక్క మాటలను విని శివుడు ప్రసన్నుడాయెను. యోగ నిష్ఠుడగు శివుడు వారందరికీ మంచి మార్గమును చూపుచున్నవాడై ఇట్లు పలికెను (17).

శివుడిట్లు పలికెను-

నేను సర్వాంగ సుందరియగు పార్వతీ దేవిని స్వీకరించిన వాడు దేవతలు, దిక్పాలకులు, మునులు, ఋషులు అందరు (18) కోరిక తీరిన వారు కాగలరు. కాని వారు మోక్ష మార్గమునందు సమర్థులు కాజాలరు. పాణిగ్రహణ మాత్రముచే ఆ దుర్గ మన్మథుని జీవింపచేయగలదు (19). హే విష్ణో! అందరి కార్యము సిద్ధించుట కొరకై బ్రహ్మ యొక్క వచనముననుసరించి నేను మన్మథుని దహించితిని. ఈ విషయములో నీవు విమర్శ చేయకుము (20). ఏది కర్తవ్యము, ఏది కాదు అను వ్యవస్థను చేయుటలో వివేకి మనస్సులో చక్కగా విమర్శను చేయవలెను. ఓ దేవేంద్రా! నీవు దేవతలందరితో గూడి హఠమును చేయదగదు (21).

చిత్త మందలి బలమగు సంస్కారములే తదనుగుణమగు భావములను సృజింప జేసి ఆయా మార్గములలో నడిపించును.

సత్యకాముడైనను, ధర్మకాముడైనను, ధనకాముడైనను, కీర్తికాముడైనను, స్త్రీ కాముడైనను ఇట్లే బలీయముగ వారి బలమగు కామముచే ఈడ్చుకొని పోబడుచున్నారు. చిత్తమున ఏర్పడు బలమగు సంస్కారమే కామము. దానివలననే లోకములందలి జీవులందరును నడిపింప బడుచున్నారు. దైవకామ మేర్పడుట, ధర్మకామ మేర్పడుట వలన దైవమును చేరుట ఎట్లో, అట్లే ఇతర కామములు జీవులను ఆయా గతులలో నడిపించుచున్నవి.

CHAPTER 11 - Master Hilarion’s note on Rule 21.

*🌻 Regard the three truths. They are equal. - 1 🌻*

586. This line is preceded by a triangle which is used as a kind of signature of Him who wrote it. It is done here to attract special attention.

587. The three truths to which the Master Hilarion refers are those which He Himself enunciated in another book which He dictated – The Idyll of the White Lotus – which has not received quite the attention which it deserves. It is an account of a previous life of His own, which He spent in Egypt when the great Egyptian religion was in its decadence and was no longer understood. Its splendid and impersonal worship had degenerated into the following of a goddess who demanded not so much perfect purity as perfect passion from her people, and so there was much corruption.

588. The Master, whose name at that time was Sensa, was a clairvoyant pupil in an Egyptian temple. The priests of the temple recognized his value as a clairvoyant and as a medium, but did not wish him to teach true religion to the people, because that would have interfered with the existent ecclesiastical system, and eventually they killed him. In the course of the story, after going through many trials he found himself surrounded by a group of Adepts, among whom was his own Master, who then told him what to teach to the people – to those who had been misled by wrong teaching.

They told him to preach broad truths only. We have the form in which the three great truths were then given. They are prefaced by the words: “There are three truths which are absolute and cannot be lost, but yet may remain silent for lack of speech.” That means they can never be lost because they are held by the Great Brotherhood, although they may not at a given time be known in the world because there is no one to speak them.

*🕉 Life is very simple. Even trees are living it; it must be simple. Why has it become so complicated for us? Because we can theorize about it. 🕉*

To be in the thick of life, in the intensity and passion of life, you will have to drop all philosophies of life. Otherwise you will remain clouded in your words. Have you heard the famous anecdote about a centipede? It was a beautiful sunny morning, and the centipede was happy and must have been singing in her heart. She was almost drunk with the morning air.

A frog sitting by the side was very puzzled-he must have been a philosopher. He asked, "Wait! You are doing a miracle. A hundred legs! How do you manage? Which leg comes first, which comes second, third---and so on, up to a hundred? Don’t you get puzzled? How do you manage? It looks impossible to me."

The centipede said, "I have never thought about it. Let me brood." And standing there, she started trembling, and she fell down on the ground. She herself became so puzzled-a hundred legs! How was she going to manage? Philosophy paralyzes people. Life needs no philosophy, life is enough unto itself. It needs no crutches; it needs no support, no props. It is enough unto itself.

ఇట్లు మొత్తమేడు లోకము లేర్పడును. కావుననే ఈ మొత్తమును సంకేతించుటకు ఒకటి తరువాత 7 సున్నలు చేర్చుదురు. అదియే ఒక కోటి సంఖ్య. క్లుప్తముగ సహస్రము అని, విస్తారముగ కోటి యని మన వాజ్మయమున పేర్కొనుచుందురు. ఈ సున్నాలన్నిటికిని ఆధారము శ్రీదేవి. లోకమను పదమున, అందు వశించువారు, వాటి పాలకులు కూడ ఇమిడియున్నారు. ఇన్ని లోకములకు ముఖము, శిరస్సుయై శ్రీదేవి యున్నది.

'సహస్ర' అనునది సహస్రార పద్మ వైభవమును సూచించును. సహస్రార వర్ణనము బహువిస్తారము. 'సహస్ర' అనునది అత్యంత శక్తివంతమగు మంత్రము. రహస్యమగు మంత్రము. అంతరంగమున దివ్యానుగ్రహముగ తెలియబడు మంత్రము. ఈ మంత్రమును తెలిసినవారు సర్వ శక్తిమంతులు అగుదురు. సుదర్శన ఆయుధము వీరి సొత్తు అగును. అంబరీషాదులు ఈ మంత్రమును దర్శించిరి.

'స' అను శబ్దముతో పురుష సూక్తము ప్రారంభమగును (సహస్ర శీర్షా పురుషః), 'హ' అను శబ్దముతో శ్రీ సూక్తము ప్రారంభ మగును (హిరణ్య వర్ణాం). 'సహ' అను శబ్దము ప్రకృతి పురుషుల సమాగమ శబ్దము. ఈ శబ్దముల మిశ్రమమే సోహం, హంస, హసౌం, హింస, సింహ ఇత్యాదివి. ప్రకృతి పురుషుల సమాగమమే సృష్టి రూపము. 'సహ' అను శబ్దము నుండి పుట్టు సృష్టినే 'స' అని పలుకుదురు. 'సహస్ర' శబ్దము అత్యంత వైభవోపేతమైన శబ్దము. ఇంకనూ వివరించుట కిచట తావు లేదు.

🌻 Sahasra-śīrṣa-vadanā सहस्र-शीर्ष-वदना (282) - 2 🌻

The Brahman has no form and therefore has no sensory organs. The Brahman can be explained in two ways; one is by negation and the other by affirmation. These nāmas explain the Brahman by affirmations.

These descriptions are called cosmic intelligence, hence beyond human comprehension Mahānārāyaṇa Upaniṣad (I.13) says “He (the Brahman) became the possessor of the eyes, faces, hands and feet of all creatures in every part of the universe (विस्व्तश्च्क्ष् विश्व्तोमुखः)”.

Thus, the Upaniṣad confirms that the Brahman exists in every living being of this universe. Puruṣasūkta also says ‘Puruṣa (the Brahman) has thousands of heads, thousands of eyes, thousands of feet’. Each element of universal creation is individualized Cosmic Consciousness.

🍀. అభినందించడం ఎలాగో మనకు తెలిస్తే ప్రతిదీ ఒక బహుమానమే. 🍀

జీవితమొక బహుమానం. జన్మ ఒక బహుమతి. ప్రేమ ఒక బహుమతి. మరణమొక బహుమానం. అభినందించడము ఎలాగో మనకు తెలిస్తే ప్రతిదీ ఒక బహుమానమే. అభినందించడం మనకు తెలియకుంటే మనం జీవితమంతా ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ, తప్పులు తవ్వుకుంటూ గడిపేస్తాం.

మనుషుల్లో రెండు రకాల వాళ్ళున్నారు. మొదటి రకం అభినందించడం తెలిసినవాళ్ళు. ప్రతిదానిలో సౌందర్యాన్ని అభినందించగలిగే వాళ్ళు. వాళ్ళకు అందిన ప్రతిదానిలో అందాన్ని చూడగలిగేవాళ్ళు. రెండవ రకం అభినందించే తత్వం లేని వాళ్ళు. అభినందించడం తెలియని వాళ్ళు ఎప్పుడూ ఖండిస్తూ వుంటారు. విమర్శిస్తు వుంటారు. తప్పులు వెతుకుతూ వుంటారు. యింకా యింకా కావాలని అడుగుతూ వుంటారు.

మొదటిరకం మనుషులు మతమున్న మనుషులు. రెండో రకం వాళ్ళకి మతముండదు. రెండోరకం వాళ్ళు మందో వెనకో దేవుణ్ణి కాదంటారు. ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు ఎవరి కోరికల్ని తీర్చాడో వాళ్ళకు శత్రువవుతాడు. అందుకనే తానొకటి తలిస్తే దైవమొకటి తలుస్తుందన్న సామెత ఏర్పడింది. ఈ సామెత మతం లేని మనుషుల కోసం ఏర్పడింది. ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళెప్పుడూ అసహనంగా వుంటారు. చిరాకు పడుతూ వుంటారు. జరుగుతున్న ప్రతిదీ తప్పంటారు. లోపాలు వెతకుతారు. వాళ్ళకెప్పుడూ సంతృప్తి అన్నదుండదు. వాళ్ళు ఎంత దుఖంఃలో వుంటారంటే, కష్టంలో వుంటారంటే ఎంత కక్షతో, కార్పణ్యంతో వుంటారంటే తమ నించీ ఎవరో ఏదో లాక్కుపోతున్నారను కుంటారు. అట్లాంటి వాళ్ళకు కృతజ్ఞత ఎట్లా వుంటుంది? కృతజ్ఞత లేని దగ్గర ప్రార్థన వుండదు. ప్రార్థన లేని దగ్గర మతముండదు.

అన్నిదేశముల సంస్కృతులయందు రక్షించు దేవతల కథలున్నవి. రక్షకులున్నారు. అన్ని బోధనలయందు రక్షకుల కథలు కోకొల్లలుగ యున్నవి. భూమిని, భూమి జీవులను రక్షించు వారున్నారు. గ్రహములను, సూర్య మండలములను రక్షించు దేవత లున్నారు. చిన్నపిల్లల నుండి వృద్ధుల వరకు వివిధ సమయములలో రక్షణ పొందిన సన్నివేశము లున్నవి. ఆధునిక యుగమున మానవుని కెందులకో రక్షకులపై నమ్మకము లేదు. ఇది దురదృష్ట కరము.

చీమ నుండి బ్రహ్మ వరకు వారి వారి పరిధులలో వారికి రక్షణ అందుచునే యున్నది. ఈ రక్షక తత్త్వమే దుర్గ. ఆమె సైన్యము లెక్కల కందనిది- ఆమె పుత్రులే సద్బోధకులు. వారు బోధించునది క్షేమకర మార్గము. జీవులకు స్వస్థతను కూర్చుట, స్వస్థానమునకు దారిచూపుట వారి పని. దిక్కు చూపు వారిని నిర్లక్ష్యము చేయుచు, దిక్కులేని వారమని వాపోవుట కలి సోకిన మానవుల వికారము.

ఇట్టి స్థితియందు మేమేమి చేయవలెను? దిక్కు చూపుచునే యుందుము. మీరు చూచు వరకు వేచియుందుము. మంకుపట్టు పట్టి ఏడ్చుచున్న పిల్లవానిని కొంత తడవు ఏడ్వనిచ్చినచో అటుపైన అతడే మంకు వదలి ప్రవర్తించగలడు. ఇది మీపై మాకు గల విశ్వాసము.

314. మార్పులతో కూడిన ఇనుప గొలుసును తెంపివేయుటకు సన్యాసి రెండు విధములైన ఆలోచనలు: 1) వస్తువులపై కోరికలను తొలగించుకొనుట 2) స్వార్థ పూరితమైన పనులు చేయుట అనువాటిని కాల్చి బూడిద చేయాలి. లేనిచో కోరికలు పెచ్చుపెరుగుతాయి

315, 316. ఒక వ్యక్తి మార్పు చెందుటకు చేసే ప్రయత్నంలో అడ్డువచ్చే కోరికలు, స్వార్థము అనే వాటిని తొలగించుకోవాలంటే, తనకెదురయ్యే అన్ని పరిస్థితుల్లో, ఎల్లపుడు, ప్రతిచోట, అన్ని విషయాల్లో బ్రహ్మము, బ్రహ్మమని భావిస్తుండాలి. ఆ బ్రహ్మ భావన యొక్క కోరికకు, అదే కావాలనే భావన వలన పై స్థితులన్ని మాయమవుతాయి.

317. స్వార్థ పూరితమైన పనులు ఎపుడైతే ఆగిపోతాయో అపుడు జ్ఞానేంద్రియ వస్తు సముదాయము ప్రోగగుట ఆగిపోతుంది. దాని ఫలితముగా కోరికలు అంతమవుతాయి. కోరికలు అంతమగుటయే విముక్తి మొదలగుటకు కారణము. అదే వ్యక్తి జీవితములో విముక్తిగా భావించబడుతుంది.

314. For the sake of breaking the chain of transmigration, the Sannyasin should burn to ashes those two; for thinking of the sense- objects and doing selfish acts lead to an increase of desires.

315-316. Augmented by these two, desires produce one’s transmigration. The way to destroy these three, however, lies in looking upon everything, under all circumstances, always, everywhere and in all respects, as Brahman and Brahman alone. Through the strengthening of the longing to be one with Brahman, those three are annihilated.

317. With the cessation of selfish action the brooding on the sense-objects is stopped, which is followed by the destruction of desires. The destruction of desires is Liberation, and this is considered as Liberation-in-life.

ప్రకృతి నియమము ప్రకారము లౌకికకర్మలే ప్రతియొక్కరి కలతకు కారణములై యున్నవి. అడుగడుగునా కలతలే కలవు కనుక జీవిత ప్రయోజనము నేరవేర్చుటలో సరియైన నిర్దేశము నొసగు ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువుని చేరుట ప్రతియెక్కరికి ఉత్తమము.

కోరకనే కలుగునట్టి జీవితపు కలతల నుండి ముక్తిని పొందుటకై ఆద్యాత్మిక గురువును చేరుమని వేదశాస్త్రములు మనకు ఉపదేశించుచున్నవి. అవి ఎవ్వరి ప్రమేయము లేకుండగనే రగుల్కొనెడు దావాలనము వంటివి. అదేవిధముగా మనము కోరకున్నప్పటికిని జీవితపు కలతలు అప్రయత్నముగా కలుగుచుండుట ఈ లోకపు పరిస్థితియై యున్నది.

అగ్నిప్రమాదమును ఎవ్వరును కోరరు. అయినను అది సంభవించి మనము కలతకు గురియగు చుందుము. కనుకనే జీవితపు కలతలను పరిష్కరించుతాకు మరియు పరిష్కారపు విజ్ఞానమును అవగతము చేసికొనుటకు ప్రామాణిక పరంపరలో నున్న ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువు దరిచేరుమని వేదంవాజ్మయము ఉపదేశించుచున్నది. ఆధ్యాత్మికగురువును కలిగియున్న వ్యక్తి సర్వమును తెలియగలుగును.కనుక మనుజుడు లౌకిక కలతల యందే ఉండిపోక గురువును తప్పక చేరవలెను. ఈ శ్లోకపు సారాంశమిదియే.

Translation :

Now I am confused about my duty and have lost all composure because of miserly weakness. In this condition I am asking You to tell me for certain what is best for me. Now I am Your disciple, and a soul surrendered unto You. Please instruct me.

Purport :

By nature’s own way the complete system of material activities is a source of perplexity for everyone. In every step there is perplexity, and therefore it behooves one to approach a bona ﬁde spiritual master who can give one proper guidance for executing the purpose of life.

All Vedic literatures advise us to approach a bona ﬁde spiritual master to get free from the perplexities of life, which happen without our desire. They are like a forest ﬁre that somehow blazes without being set by anyone. Similarly, the world situation is such that perplexities of life automatically appear, without our wanting such confusion. No one wants ﬁre, and yet it takes place, and we become perplexed.

The Vedic wisdom therefore advises that in order to solve the perplexities of life and to understand the science of the solution, one must approach a spiritual master who is in the disciplic succession. A person with a bona ﬁde spiritual master is supposed to know everything. One should not, therefore, remain in material perplexities but should approach a spiritual master. This is the purport of this verse.

🌹 Purport :

Yoga is a means to understand the Supreme Soul. One who is steadily ﬁxed in the Supreme Soul with determination, concentrating one’s mind, life and sensory activities on the Supreme, engages in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

That sort of determination is in the mode of goodness. The word avyabhicāriṇyā is very signiﬁcant, for it indicates that persons who are engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness are never deviated by any other activity.

Philosophy is not to be confused with intuition, with mystic or religious experience, though it is a very powerful aid in achieving this end. Philosophy in India is based on the revelations of the sages and provides the necessary strength to the future generation of mankind for realising this goal.

In mystic or religious experience the intellect and the reason are completely transcended, while philosophy is all intellect and reason, though it is grounded ultimately in deep religious experience. While the intuitional truths are rationally explained by philosophy, it does not pretend to prove the nature of these truths through intellectual or scientific categories.

Philosophy has a purely negative value—of offering an exhaustive criticism of sense experience and logical thought and indirectly arriving at the concept of Reality by demonstrating the limitations and inadequacies of the former. All philosophy really springs from an inward dissatisfaction with immediate empirical experience consequent upon the perception of the inadequacies inherent in its very nature.

314. మార్పులతో కూడిన ఇనుప గొలుసును తెంపివేయుటకు సన్యాసి రెండు విధములైన ఆలోచనలు: 1) వస్తువులపై కోరికలను తొలగించుకొనుట 2) స్వార్థ పూరితమైన పనులు చేయుట అనువాటిని కాల్చి బూడిద చేయాలి. లేనిచో కోరికలు పెచ్చుపెరుగుతాయి

315, 316. ఒక వ్యక్తి మార్పు చెందుటకు చేసే ప్రయత్నంలో అడ్డువచ్చే కోరికలు, స్వార్థము అనే వాటిని తొలగించుకోవాలంటే, తనకెదురయ్యే అన్ని పరిస్థితుల్లో, ఎల్లపుడు, ప్రతిచోట, అన్ని విషయాల్లో బ్రహ్మము, బ్రహ్మమని భావిస్తుండాలి. ఆ బ్రహ్మ భావన యొక్క కోరికకు, అదే కావాలనే భావన వలన పై స్థితులన్ని మాయమవుతాయి.

317. స్వార్థ పూరితమైన పనులు ఎపుడైతే ఆగిపోతాయో అపుడు జ్ఞానేంద్రియ వస్తు సముదాయము ప్రోగగుట ఆగిపోతుంది. దాని ఫలితముగా కోరికలు అంతమవుతాయి. కోరికలు అంతమగుటయే విముక్తి మొదలగుటకు కారణము. అదే వ్యక్తి జీవితములో విముక్తిగా భావించబడుతుంది.

315-316. Augmented by these two, desires produce one’s transmigration. The way to destroy these three, however, lies in looking upon everything, under all circumstances, always, everywhere and in all respects, as Brahman and Brahman alone. Through the strengthening of the longing to be one with Brahman, those three are annihilated.

317. With the cessation of selfish action the brooding on the sense-objects is stopped, which is followed by the destruction of desires. The destruction of desires is Liberation, and this is considered as Liberation-in-life.

అన్నిదేశముల సంస్కృతులయందు రక్షించు దేవతల కథలున్నవి. రక్షకులున్నారు. అన్ని బోధనలయందు రక్షకుల కథలు కోకొల్లలుగ యున్నవి. భూమిని, భూమి జీవులను రక్షించు వారున్నారు. గ్రహములను, సూర్య మండలములను రక్షించు దేవత లున్నారు. చిన్నపిల్లల నుండి వృద్ధుల వరకు వివిధ సమయములలో రక్షణ పొందిన సన్నివేశము లున్నవి. ఆధునిక యుగమున మానవుని కెందులకో రక్షకులపై నమ్మకము లేదు. ఇది దురదృష్ట కరము.

చీమ నుండి బ్రహ్మ వరకు వారి వారి పరిధులలో వారికి రక్షణ అందుచునే యున్నది. ఈ రక్షక తత్త్వమే దుర్గ. ఆమె సైన్యము లెక్కల కందనిది- ఆమె పుత్రులే సద్బోధకులు. వారు బోధించునది క్షేమకర మార్గము. జీవులకు స్వస్థతను కూర్చుట, స్వస్థానమునకు దారిచూపుట వారి పని. దిక్కు చూపు వారిని నిర్లక్ష్యము చేయుచు, దిక్కులేని వారమని వాపోవుట కలి సోకిన మానవుల వికారము.

ఇట్టి స్థితియందు మేమేమి చేయవలెను? దిక్కు చూపుచునే యుందుము. మీరు చూచు వరకు వేచియుందుము. మంకుపట్టు పట్టి ఏడ్చుచున్న పిల్లవానిని కొంత తడవు ఏడ్వనిచ్చినచో అటుపైన అతడే మంకు వదలి ప్రవర్తించగలడు. ఇది మీపై మాకు గల విశ్వాసము.

జీవితమొక బహుమానం. జన్మ ఒక బహుమతి. ప్రేమ ఒక బహుమతి. మరణమొక బహుమానం. అభినందించడము ఎలాగో మనకు తెలిస్తే ప్రతిదీ ఒక బహుమానమే. అభినందించడం మనకు తెలియకుంటే మనం జీవితమంతా ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ, తప్పులు తవ్వుకుంటూ గడిపేస్తాం.

మనుషుల్లో రెండు రకాల వాళ్ళున్నారు. మొదటి రకం అభినందించడం తెలిసినవాళ్ళు. ప్రతిదానిలో సౌందర్యాన్ని అభినందించగలిగే వాళ్ళు. వాళ్ళకు అందిన ప్రతిదానిలో అందాన్ని చూడగలిగేవాళ్ళు. రెండవ రకం అభినందించే తత్వం లేని వాళ్ళు. అభినందించడం తెలియని వాళ్ళు ఎప్పుడూ ఖండిస్తూ వుంటారు. విమర్శిస్తు వుంటారు. తప్పులు వెతుకుతూ వుంటారు. యింకా యింకా కావాలని అడుగుతూ వుంటారు.

మొదటిరకం మనుషులు మతమున్న మనుషులు. రెండో రకం వాళ్ళకి మతముండదు. రెండోరకం వాళ్ళు మందో వెనకో దేవుణ్ణి కాదంటారు. ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు ఎవరి కోరికల్ని తీర్చాడో వాళ్ళకు శత్రువవుతాడు. అందుకనే తానొకటి తలిస్తే దైవమొకటి తలుస్తుందన్న సామెత ఏర్పడింది. ఈ సామెత మతం లేని మనుషుల కోసం ఏర్పడింది. ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళెప్పుడూ అసహనంగా వుంటారు. చిరాకు పడుతూ వుంటారు. జరుగుతున్న ప్రతిదీ తప్పంటారు. లోపాలు వెతకుతారు. వాళ్ళకెప్పుడూ సంతృప్తి అన్నదుండదు. వాళ్ళు ఎంత దుఖంఃలో వుంటారంటే, కష్టంలో వుంటారంటే ఎంత కక్షతో, కార్పణ్యంతో వుంటారంటే తమ నించీ ఎవరో ఏదో లాక్కుపోతున్నారను కుంటారు. అట్లాంటి వాళ్ళకు కృతజ్ఞత ఎట్లా వుంటుంది? కృతజ్ఞత లేని దగ్గర ప్రార్థన వుండదు. ప్రార్థన లేని దగ్గర మతముండదు.

ఇట్లు మొత్తమేడు లోకము లేర్పడును. కావుననే ఈ మొత్తమును సంకేతించుటకు ఒకటి తరువాత 7 సున్నలు చేర్చుదురు. అదియే ఒక కోటి సంఖ్య. క్లుప్తముగ సహస్రము అని, విస్తారముగ కోటి యని మన వాజ్మయమున పేర్కొనుచుందురు. ఈ సున్నాలన్నిటికిని ఆధారము శ్రీదేవి. లోకమను పదమున, అందు వశించువారు, వాటి పాలకులు కూడ ఇమిడియున్నారు. ఇన్ని లోకములకు ముఖము, శిరస్సుయై శ్రీదేవి యున్నది.

'సహస్ర' అనునది సహస్రార పద్మ వైభవమును సూచించును. సహస్రార వర్ణనము బహువిస్తారము. 'సహస్ర' అనునది అత్యంత శక్తివంతమగు మంత్రము. రహస్యమగు మంత్రము. అంతరంగమున దివ్యానుగ్రహముగ తెలియబడు మంత్రము. ఈ మంత్రమును తెలిసినవారు సర్వ శక్తిమంతులు అగుదురు. సుదర్శన ఆయుధము వీరి సొత్తు అగును. అంబరీషాదులు ఈ మంత్రమును దర్శించిరి.

'స' అను శబ్దముతో పురుష సూక్తము ప్రారంభమగును (సహస్ర శీర్షా పురుషః), 'హ' అను శబ్దముతో శ్రీ సూక్తము ప్రారంభ మగును (హిరణ్య వర్ణాం). 'సహ' అను శబ్దము ప్రకృతి పురుషుల సమాగమ శబ్దము. ఈ శబ్దముల మిశ్రమమే సోహం, హంస, హసౌం, హింస, సింహ ఇత్యాదివి. ప్రకృతి పురుషుల సమాగమమే సృష్టి రూపము. 'సహ' అను శబ్దము నుండి పుట్టు సృష్టినే 'స' అని పలుకుదురు. 'సహస్ర' శబ్దము అత్యంత వైభవోపేతమైన శబ్దము. ఇంకనూ వివరించుట కిచట తావు లేదు.

*🌻 Sahasra-śīrṣa-vadanā सहस्र-शीर्ष-वदना (282) - 2 🌻*

The Brahman has no form and therefore has no sensory organs. The Brahman can be explained in two ways; one is by negation and the other by affirmation. These nāmas explain the Brahman by affirmations.

These descriptions are called cosmic intelligence, hence beyond human comprehension Mahānārāyaṇa Upaniṣad (I.13) says “He (the Brahman) became the possessor of the eyes, faces, hands and feet of all creatures in every part of the universe (विस्व्तश्च्क्ष् विश्व्तोमुखः)”.

Thus, the Upaniṣad confirms that the Brahman exists in every living being of this universe. Puruṣasūkta also says ‘Puruṣa (the Brahman) has thousands of heads, thousands of eyes, thousands of feet’. Each element of universal creation is individualized Cosmic Consciousness.
